Jeongyeol High School is one of the popular high school in Seoul that deploys the best students in the city until one day, something happened that changed the its image forever. One class of the senior year students takes their final exams in English where their teacher gives only a question that they will answer in the most horrifying way they see fit: "How will you die?"

Days later the news of students of the same class dying in a very disturbing manner spread throughout the town, and once the thought hits you, you may be the one next in line.

30 students.
7 days later, 23 remains.
23 more days.

Genre: Mystery, thriller, suspense, classroom, slice-of-life
Goal of the game: Discover the cause of the deaths, and how to stop it to prevent other students from dying.

In this RP, death is inevitable especially when you do not know if you'll be the one next to die. The only thing we know is that any moment can be the death of our character. (Well actually, the order of death depends on the class number. Students 1-7 are all dead now. If you're class number 8, you're next.) If you're interested, please reply on this thread. I'll need at least five response. :>

(RP inspired from a story I read two years ago that is now taken down by the author. :( )
Thanks then~ But I need to find more people still~ :3

An untold story of a land drifted away by time and space

Soulle woke up from another terrible nightmare. The ground trembles, the flesh decays, the beautiful crimson sky darkens by the passing of the night. The Dawn of the Shadows rises, and the fate of humanity befalls upon their hands. The creatures of darkness will dominate the home as they all know, and the only thing left for them to do is to hope that it's not yet the end.

And yet it is still not.

Humanity once stood among another formidable race that was covered with wickedness and corruption—spurs, as they were called, are monsters who predate on souls of any living matter around them. Thus, they bring chaos to their lives, and it has been long since they were fighting against survival with these shadows.

In a futuristic world where people were now living in "Holy Cities", or lands saved by the seven clans of Espers, they were trying to establish unity among the terrains to try gathering the earth that once they had and to keep a stronghold against their real enemies. Years had passed, and they succeeded in overthrowing the spurs that lurked the earth; and the cities became kingdoms, and the kingdoms became empires. One happened to be the Empire of La'Soulle, the old country of Greece, which kept its promise to their inhabitants the serenity and abundance of their living inside.

Suddenly, a veiled portal has opened in the boundary of light and shadows. The rift where was once concealed from the daunting creatures of the void—spurs, and they came in numbers with an obscure reason. But they know why. They know why they are hunting haunting us. There has to be a reason. There has to be a reason why the Doors of the Shadows opened so wide and so wide they don't have much time to prepare for an end that is about to come.

That is just the plot I have for CoLS, but this game is something more to that. I have everything prepared, and I need two co-GM to monitor this one. This has a SNS-jive to it as well as SNK. It's something more than just magic-wielders and gun-shooters. Having time-traveling shenanigans and elemental powers are just a sneak to this. You have to grasp CoLS as an all-in-one game. Here are the offers.

Characters
There are three available characters: Human, Esper, Half-spurs (Half-human/Half-esper)
Humans: while they can never cast magic and see spurs rather than shadows, they trained martial arts and can have weapons in return. They have this ability that neither esper or spurs can have: to love, and that is one way they might be stronger or weaker than anyone else, if ever. Those who trained to be a part of DRONES (to be discussed later) are surely skillful, whether in combat or strategics for the team. Last note, those who experienced an almost deadly accident can leave the mind abnormally functional, in which the 'third eye is open', and he can see the shadows that walked off the earth.
Espers: Basically humans, but granted special powers that distinguish them from a normal one. They can be classified into two—pureblood and artificial. Purebloods were part of the seven ancestral clans, and aside from having a super skill roster (to be discussed later), they can control elements in a way that goes like this—soul, as the vessel of all living matters in this planet, also acts as a vessel that transfers energy from anything and be utilized as magic. Artificial ones were genetically made espers, those whose DNAs were compatible to be 'corrupted' by esper blood, which gives them a super skill roster. Alas, this was the only thing science can do them, and not the gift that the soul can give the true ones. And for some reasons, pureblood espers ran from the government while articials do not. Makes you wonder, eh?
Half-spurs: Basically half-half. It can be a half-spur half-human when the spur mates with a human, and a half-spur half-esper if the spur mates with the esper, but not really. True for the latter, but the former goes on a complicated process. The carrier should be a human who can bear an offspring, which is a woman. The carrier is the 1st Degree and no signs of power can be seen unto her, because all the dominant genes were passed unto the 2nd. The 1st one deals with all the imperfections of the offspring, and thus dies in the process. Horrendous. Brute.

Characters can have weapons, items, and abilities (with names), I already said that. But this is something different. This is the skill roster. This is how you do it.

Skill Meter: Put a Boost bar (|) to enhance your character's skills. Purebloods will have a default of 25. Artificials will have 20. Humans will have 15. Half-Spurs will have something of what their other side has. The good thing is that, you can improve this.

Example: A Pureblood-Esper skill meter

This is just cool. Well, I can explain how to use it in certain situations later on.

There are also Gods in this game, if I didn't mention it. They are the NPCs here, so nothing to worry about them.

Map
This is La'Soulle. Hate to explain everything at first, but here you go.
@Rex: Based on Alma Torran's History, all of whose blood is human has the magician genes in them. People were once mistreated by other stronger creatures, predating them, eating them, torturing them. That is why Il Ilah granted the Divine Staves (par with the metal vessels in the New World) to the human so that they can rule the Old World, whatever the race is. But blinded by vengeance and hatred, the people from the Orthodox--an organization of magicians, used the staves to control the creatures that once hurt them, turning them into "monsters" they've never been before while holding their brains to work for them. Alas, Solomon, who was once a magician working for the church, realized what he was doing was wrong, so he decided to retrieve all the staves so that he can achieve world peace.

He had all 72 together, and ruled Alma Torran for the serenity. But Al Thamen--the Orthodox that once--decided a new way to bring back their Father, Il Ilah to the world to punish all those who didn't follow His orders, and against them, King Solomon sent all his households--the seventy-two people who hold the Divine Staves, transformed into Djinns and fight the medium of the God. They were defeated, however, and Solomon decided to use his magic to create a New World where the new king to replace him will be born, and be chosen by the magis.

That being said, Djinns are once humans also, so yes, they all have different skills, wisdom, and other things. I will specify some that were already said in the anime/manga, but for others, I guess you would want a little creativity with that, eh? :D

@Jay: Could you elaborate more on the background part wherein all of those abilities would be appropriate for his profile? I guess Marid needs that.
and oh my Shizuka doesn't even have a complete background yet. shame on me -.-
@ Rex YES. and please don't think i'm lazing out to make things more specific. since they didn't yet show it to anime what the other djinns are, i'm giving all of you the freedom to choose. And oh, it is possible not to have a djinn at first, since we're talking about a role-play of something adventurous, action, and all. At the call of the moment. I'm about to put on a great profile for each Djinn. Djinns do different a lot of things, and some may vary, while some may be alike. I hope that answers.

@MasterJay Yes, I know that would be a case. But considering the case of the humans the last time in Alma Torran, where all humans are magicians, and they're using the power of Solomon by the divine staves (which I can say, the prototype of djinns), then that could be possible. I mean, after a hundred of years, everything could be possible. But not widely possible, so others might be able to do it, but others may not be able to do it. So, that's why. :D

YES GUYS. I'll be expecting CSs from all of you. :)
Of course. Welcome aboard! :) Here's the OOC: http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/20782/posts/ooc
Nothing at all. Attacks vary from the weapon the character uses. If my character uses a sword, and for example if my Djinn is a Wind Djinn, I can imagine doing a slash and there comes a whirlpool, thus, naming my attack 'Nai-lah El-mout', because that's how the words Slash (derivation) and El-mout (doom) sounds when in Arabic. It doesn't have to be exactly the same word, but it can be a play of words, etc.

And also, if you're about to ask why it's in Arabic, I could say that the origin of Magi is about the myths of the Arabs, so assuming that the human language in Alma Torran is Arabic, then it is.
Sorry~ http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/20782/posts/ooc
Yes of course, we do. Oh Guys, the IC is up too, just so you know~ :)
