Miles Esperance was returning from a planet he had been preaching on, he'd been doing this ever since he gained the Blue Lantern ring, he still thought the name sounded strange. "Why would aliens use a human object?". He was heading for the new planet he called home, it was a beautiful, peaceful jungle which he shared with a primitive tribal race who were the first he spread hope to.

Keyword 'Was' as when he arrived to this planet, to his shock it was no longer the blue and green planet he called home, it was now grey and burning. He quickly flew down towards it, hoping the tribe would be okay. They were not, there was so much fire that the sun was blocked out by the smoke, so many corpses. Through the smoke and heat he heard a single loud voice

"NO ONE...MANHUNTERS

As it came closer he could here the voice clearer

"NO ONE ESCAPES THE MANHUNTERS!"

He had no idea what this meant, he had never seen these beings on this planet before, so he concluded that they must be responsible for the brutality that transpired here. Before he could even blink, the being attacked him.
