Since there are so many gods in this RP...

I hope you don't mind, but I think I'll try and provide a human perspective~

Road to Knowledge

In contrast to the dismay that the others had shown at the two approaching dots, Amelia had shown excitement. Here she was worried that the bulk of the trip would be idle - or, worse, have a fight against monsters that she would be helpless against. Instead, there were human opponents, and she was secretly pleased that the attackers had managed to board.

"You're all men of battle, warriors of a spirit and skill leagues ahead of these vultures of the ocean!" she spoke, drawing her Pompeianus sword in anticipation. "If you allow your charge to die to a pirate raid; then know that you'll all be responsible for the most embarrassing failure to ever befall men of battle!"

As the ship rocked under the impact of the first vessel slamming into the side, she avoided the shaking by releasing her wings and taking flight so that the men who she led could see the maiden of war, confident, even contemptuous in the face of such an enemy, and that their opponents could see that the maidens of of the mysterious warriors of the north sailed with the ship they were attacking. Making sure she looked suitably heroic, she raised her sword.

"Send these sea scavengers back into the abyss!" she shouted, flying right into battle, being an inspiration to the troops, who would probably have their morale raised at the sight of a maiden of war leading their charge and assuring them of victory.
Road to Knowledge

To think that such a young child could be so eager for such a task was, admittedly for Amelia, disturbing. She wondered if Oriana truly understood the significance and rigors of her position, her powers, and, worst of all, if she understood how others would see her position. She was also more than a little concerned with her obsession for Octavian - even that oaf of a soothsayer could see it. While Amelia did not frown upon and even admired loyalty, such was her own loyalty to the father Odin, her devotion was... troubling.

Noticing that Kara and Godelvia were getting to know each other better, she decided that it would be best if she were to speak to Oriana so that she would at least feel included. Isolation could be dangerous for the mind, no matter how old or mature.

"That's reassuring." she smiled. "I'm sure Wolfy can warn us if anything tries to sneak on board, while our ravens can take a look at the general area for more obvious dangers. Like Pirates and other such dangers."

The statements this Roman Priestess made about playing with a lot of people of whom she didn't even know their name was even more distressing to Amelia. A Valkyrie who was more in tune with human thought than most of her fellow maidens, she had a quiet inkling that this was most definitely not a healthy way for a child to form relations.

Well, she would have to change that.

"Well, I would be delighted to be friends with you. I am Amelia; it is an honor to meet you Oriana."

A name was a start, at least.

"I think it would be best if we had as many ravens flying and helping scout as possible, so of course you would be welcome if your raven is to join ours in taking turns." Amelia assured the new Valkyrie with a smile. Even as she spoke, Elov appeared and perched on her shoulder.

Taking a moment to consider the possibilities, she figured she should at least try and get along with Oriana. If her isolation - or, Odin forbid, racial arrogance - separated her from the war maidens and caused friction, it would be bad.

"Oriana, do you have anything that could help keep an eye out?" She spoke, her voice a little louder than her normal speaking voice to account for her distance from the germanic maidens. "The more, the merrier, and the ocean is a wide, wide place."

Gladiator?

Oh, she supposed she meant her. Turning away from the Roman priestess who was probably consigned to a poor fate of being manipulated into fighting for causes she will never truly understand, milked like a cow for her magical abilities until she either fell in combat or, knowing the society that spawned her, got married and was expected to settle down with a family.

Well, Amelia would not be opposed to this Oriana girl falling in combat; for if she did, the Valkyrie would personally offer her a seat in Valhalla.

"I think that would be the best." She said to her fellow war maiden with a smile. "And please, call me Amelia. I gave up that Gladiator business already. I'll be counting on you to keep us safe on the seas."

She had been expecting to be with the XIX legion in Gaul, not all the way back here in Rome. She had felt like she outstayed her welcome long enough; why was she still in Rome and not with the Germanic peoples whom she gave favor to? Well, she wouldn't have been with them even if she was with the XIX legion at the moment, but at least it was somewhat closer.

Oh well.

With an air that was unmistakably one that held a bit of disdain, Amelia gave Quinte a look before turning back to the dock, knowing that if there was an enemy (that she could handle, who knew what she would have to do if she had to fight a ship) she would have to fight on the deck against any last minute assassins. From there, it would just be up to her fellow war maiden of Odin and her creatures of the sea to see them safely to Athens, where potential danger was abound once more.

All she hoped was that she would get a chance to do something other than struggle as the ship sank and that Quinte wouldn't charge himself into trouble and make their job needlessly harder than it was.
This looks interesting. I think I'll jump in~

Clipeus shield

Psychoanalysis

Merits:
Inspiring Presence, caring

Flaws:
Idol, Lonely, Stepford Smiler

Tragic Flaw:
None

Personality:

A Valkyrie who is known to care for mortal warriors in her vicinity, Amelia is someone who cares for people as much as she wishes to fight in battles. She believes that warriors should revel in the battle, and that those who fight should fight with valor and respect. She wishes for all warriors to die in battle, content in falling to a worthy opponent in respectful duels.

Outside of battles, she is respectful of all warriors, opposing and comrade, and will not be mean-spirited... most of the time. She is just as willing to invite an enemy warrior to her beerhall to share in festivities as much as willing to invite her fellow warriors.

Recorded Information

Culture and Country:
Germanic

Languages:
Germanic
Latin

Public Record:

Amelia, being a Valkyrie, was around for a while – but her first appearance in the public sphere was in Rome, when she willingly became a gladiator, fighting in the arenas of Rome. Despite never using her abilities as a Valkyrie, she became quite the public icon, being a celebrity of a Gladiator due to both her beauty and her skills in battle. When she finally retired a few years in, she had sent quite the number of souls to Valhalla, where she knew Odin would be waiting to welcome them.

Private Information:

Not many relationships. She was popular with the Gladiator scene for a few years before she retired as abruptly as she debuted, and she was friends with quite a few Gladiators even if they were to face each other in the arena eventually.

“Believe in me who believes in you!” - Due to her psychoanalysis and rhetoric skills along with her ability to inspire in the most daunting of times, Amelia is capable making epic speeches or providing sisterly comfort for the purposes of getting a magical girl close to her mental breaking point to pull herself together. She is also able to notice subtle signs of stress and/or mental deterioration most others will fail to pick up on.
