Snowed In at Northlane High

As he tried once more he heard a voice come from behind him that sounded like a woman and turned around to see a blonde haired girl that couldn't have been any older than him. Even though he knew he couldn't have been the only one here she still took him by surprise as she introduced herself, put her hand out, and told him her name "Oh Summimasen I did not know anyone was still here" He said as he took her hand "My name is Kazuo but yes people have called me Kaz."

It didn't take long for Kaz to realize that there were no teachers here after he went to his englis class and saw no one was there. "Ah fuben'na" he said to himself wondering what to do next. If he couldn't study then he figured the next best thing to do would be to go home. He pulled his phone and called one of his cousins to let her know he was coming home as he walked to the door leading to the exit.

As he finished his conversation and hung up, he reached the door and noticed that it was covered with snow. He pushed on the handle to try and open the door hoping what he was seeing was just really bad fog. Much to his dismay it was just as he had seen. The snow was blocking the exit which means he and anyone else who was still here were blocked in.

Kaz sat in the music room practicing basic rhythm scales and every now and then picking songs off of his phone to play on the drums. He had told his uncle that he would be staying after school to get some practice in and maybe study up on his English while he was there. It hadn't been more than a couple of weeks since he came to this school and while a lot of people didn't really bother to talk to him he had found a few people to hang around with. Picking up the pace and speeding up the beat as he turned a song on he thought about the weather that had seemingly come over night.

For the town that he was temporarily staying in it wasn't rare for it to snow or so he had heard, but it looked as though the storm had gotten worse as the day progressed, and the only thing he could do was hope that he and the other students who had stayed after school wouldn't get snowed in. After the song was over he decided that was enough practice for the day and went over to put his drumsticks in his bag. After putting them away he grabbed his jacket and headed out of the music room. He was glad to get some practice as he hadn't hadn't really had much time to since he had come here.

There was a lot to do over the last two weeks what with the various amounts of paperwork, settling in, and registering for school, not to mention his family dragging him all over town to go sightseeing. At least he could take solos in the fact that the bulk of the events had come and gone and he had found some people that wanted to get to know him even if his english was not the greatest. He had wondered if the people he had met were still here so he could study, not that he needed any help but it was always nice to have company.

Short Bio: Kazuo is originally from japan and came to the school because of an exchange program. Growing up he wasn't rich but his family did alright and went to a decent school. He was a fairly good student and took his studies seriously especially English which was what he focused on the most next to learning how to play the drums. When the exchange program was first brought to his school he was one of the first ones to be put on the list and was selected to go to a school in a small town to spend a year or two at a school in a small town. He now stays with his uncle and two cousins during the program (a little boring I know but it was all I could think of off the top of my head)

It was not every day that you see someone feasting on the entrails of a human being let alone looking pale and making low growling noises, and the fact that the person had a dead glare on their face didn't help the situation.
