HIVE

Brief:
HIVE has been in existence since humans first gained the knowledge of Supernatural Creatures and tasked themselves with the extermination of them. However despite their ties to organisations such as the Vatican and other monster hunting groups, it is only of recent have they branded themselves as HIVE, under the leadership of Director Baxter.

The Citadel:
HIVE's primary base of operations is known as the Citadel, located 22km under a remote location somewhere in the United Kingdom - a port in the storm so to speak. The Citadel is a Geo-Fortress, constructed to withstand and attack and only has one way in and out, making it almost impossible to infiltrate and the capacity to hold 625,000 civilians and 125,000 Military Personnel. The Citadel has two primary purposes, the first is to act as a base of operations for HIVE task forces that deal with bot national and international SN insurrections. The second is to act as the last bastion of humanity should Operation: Blinding Light be issued.

Operation: Blinding Light:
Operation: Blinding Light is HIVE's Endgame policy should it ever be believed that the Supernaturals are unable to be defeated by any other measure and/or the death of Director Baxter and is one of the main reasons in which HIVE is Feared/Resented by other human taskforces. In short, HIVE is in possession of enough nuclear ordnance to destroy every major population centre on the planet, ensuring that most of the supernaturals' livestock is destroyed. Should Blinding Light be activated, HIVE military will begin covert evacuation of certain civilians and after screening will be moved to the Citadel or other fallout shelters around the world and placed in stasis until the fallout has subdued. After the fallout, HIVE military will then scout out the remains of the nearest cities to sweep and lingering hostiles.

Oh and to add, do things like U.V rounds have any effects on vampires?
Xeron took cautious note of Dreg, keeping one hand placed firmly on the hilt of his katana, ready to strike should he be a little too curious for his own good.

Both took up Liz's offer to get a seat by the fire. William was grateful for the extra heat and looked over towards Zakuro.
"I... I'm William"
Standing in the doorway were two darkened figures. One much taller than the other, both dripping wet. As he stepped into the light, Xeron lowered his hood to reveal his face, blushed from the cold, dismal climate of his past destination. – Behind him a child walked in, peering around the new environment.

Xeron took a risk brining William to the Underground, but after discovering that all his relatives were dead, he thought it best. William, shivering, and damp was dragged behind Xeron who was looking out for anyone or rather anything that would prey on a pure human child.

Xeron placed William on a seat in the far corner and sat on the adjacent seat. Raising his hand to grab Liz’s attention.

“Two teas, please.” He called.
London, England UK 12:58pm

There he stood, on the roof of Big Ben, drenched in the falling rain and staring down at the wave of black umbrellas that poured along like a river. Xeron had always enjoyed the cool crispness of the rain, it relieved him of stress from his job. The rain dripped from his raised hood that concealed his face in void energy, that no one could recognise him; he was clearly on the job. Thou it had only been an hour since he left the Underground, the power of Shadow Walk made such distances trivial to transverse.

The hour hand finally turned its last cog to strike One and the unmissable ringing of the bell begun, signalling that it was time for him to begin. He searched through the umbrella with his closed eyes, searching for the soul. After going through the lives of twenty or so vessels he found it: Young, male, scared… running. He opened his eyes to see a small bulk of yellow race against the tide of black, followed by two, much darker souled vessels. Soon the bulk of yellow turned into an alley in which only had one way in and out. Xeron shadow walked towards the rooftop of one of the apartments to see what the fate of this one was, but when he looked down upon the soon to be crime scene his heart sank. There two armed thugs, demanding for some repayment of some kind to a human child, from the look of him, he was no older than six or seven. - The grip around his katana tightened. Xeron, the Prince of Death knew what he was about to do was reckless.

One of the thugs raise his weapon above his head and the boy closed his eyes waiting for his inevitable fate, but it never came, rather a small warm drop flicked onto his face. He slowly opened his eyes and felt his face, looking at this now red finger he could tell what it was – blood. But it was not his own. He looked back at the thug and there the boy looked in horror to where the thug’s arm had once been, now an oozing red mess that soaked his shirt, the arm, still wielding its weapon laid dormant in a pool of blood.

“I suppose two souls make up for one.” A voice muttered besides the boy who turned in the direction of it. There, a hooded man, blade in hand which little droplets of blood slid off. “You may want to close your eyes and cover your ears.” The voice continued.
He did.

Under his hands he heard the muffled screams and swings that were happening beyond the vail of darkness. A ruffle of his hair signalled that it was over.

The boy slowly opened his eyes and there he stood, with his hood now down to show his truly remorseful face. He looked for the bodies yet there we none, only the now washed away remains of blood that flowed towards the alley drains.
“What’s your name?” Xeron asked, already knowing the answer, but to allow an interaction between the two.

“Wi... William.” The boy answered, still trembling in fear.

“Let’s get you somewhere warm and safe.”
Heads up: I might not be able to post until Sunday evening. But Chance is too paranoid to accompany these people to the Pokemon Center, anyway, so you can go on without me.
