Not to sound like an asshole but doing that is like using Harry Potter's words to prove that Hogwarts is real. Zenimax =/= Bethesda. Todd Howard has said that ESO is completely unrelated to the single-player series. This arguably means that as far as Daggerfall onwards is concerned, Zenimax's fanfiction isn't canon and will not be referenced.

Anyways, as far as this very RP goes, we do need some people to take over for some nations. Spread the word, please.

Bethesda has outright stated that, to them, ESO is not canon.

All I know is with all these mer vanishing Orgnum dream of conquest on Tamriel have once again gone up in smoke. Not that there was much a chance before in any case. :K Also it's never a good sign when your on the the chatroom for a RP more then the Gm himself. XDEdit: also the ship/seafaring thing hardly matters in the long run, most of Tam uses the same type of ships anyway.

Hey, I'm very busy looking at all these cats on the internet. I mean, just when you think you've seen the last one, there's another one. Watching pet fox videos too, and these wolves bred in captivity acting like big dogs that could kill you at a moment's notice? Don't eve get me started. It was news to me, but ESO has been a major eye opener in allot of the lore yet uncovered in the other games. It may be 1000+ years ago, but it's the only game we're you actually interact with the Sea elves. Now why the chitin ships did not look exotic to the wolf queen makes so much more sense....and makes the sea elves seem much less alien... (the only mer it seems who use chitin for everything from cloths to armor (and apparently ships) are the Dunmer anyway. :K)In other news, I've learned, the Nords have a powerful seafaring culture as formidable as the vikings their obviously based off of, (which leaves bretons as the only ones lacking a seafaring culture among the races of men. :P) Redguard's apparently have sand/air benders, (or the TES equivalent anyway), and the Bosmer by and large stopped practicing he meat mandate by the time of ESO, with only the most savage clans still upholding it. (I can imagine it is almost phased out entirely by the events of Skyrim. Makes their conquest seem more sensible now)

Daggerfall was a settlement created by the Nords in their raids on the Dirennis, IIRC. Since Bretons are related to Nords and the Direnni Altmer clan, I would think they'd have merchant fleets and a knowledge of sailing. I wouldn't discount the Bretons from being fuck-all boring because some game where Colonel Sanders makes Molag Bal- who apparently steals the title of Prince of Plots from Boethiah- a boss fight and Elder Scrolls are power-ups now. Before you ask, yes, I still dislike Schick and everything he touches.
