It's exam season, boys and girls, so postage should be up over the weekend. If you don't hear from me by Monday, honour my memory.

Well then. I'm exceedingly British, rather sarcastic and I love a good shipfest in my RPs. Also male. Funny, that. Fair warning, I will treat you like an adult. That means I will mock you, point out your mistakes and most likely /cringe when you do something really autistic. Being an adult means accepting criticism and working to improve yourself, not ignoring it. And if I need calling out on my bullshit, just do it. Please. Nothing is worse than not realising that you've said or done something stupid til a week after the fact.

I currently live in Japan, so my posting hours are... weird. Please bear with me.

Really gotta get around to playing VC3.
Just waiting on a reply from Celeste, then we'll move on.
Fair play. Post hopefully coming tomorrow then.
Pyotr

Sure enough, her blunt entrée hadn't much endeared Pyotr to the strangers. Despite this, the guy didn't seem put off by it and instead provided some... reasonably good excuses. She still held the belief that they hadn't paid any attention to each other before, but didn't push the point; they both seemed to be reasonable people, but in a world where ganking equated murder it wasn't worth taking risks. The guy clearly knew his shit, but something about his attitude just seemed a bit... cold. Clinical. As though he were still treating this as just a game. Beta tester perhaps, or just trying to rationalise things? Didn't matter, the suspicious eyes from the girl made it clear that Pyotr wouldn't be welcome in the group. Understandable, she supposed. No one wanted to be second guessed by an outsider. 'So... you're telling me that SAO doesn't share XP in parties? Not even quest credit? Then what's the point in partying up at all?' Once again playing solo was looking more and more tempting. The point about being paralysed was fair, but any idiot dumb enough to get into that situation simply hadn't the brains to plan properly; who would want someone like that guarding their backs anyway?

The sensation of mental disconnect slowly grew as they explained themselves and, to their credit and her private relief, didn't attack her. They lacked a certain... efficiency that Pyotr prized in others as much as in herself. Not a character flaw in most cases, but she suspected that they were the sort that would rush forward to sacrifice themselves if a friend was in danger and that was hella dangerous. She spoke slowly, trying to talk in a way that wouldn't come off as hostile. It didn't help that her voice had picked up a gravelly accent from all the Russian. 'Your father wasn't wrong...' Not right either; you should be suspecting fucking everyone. '... and I appreciate the subtle sarcasm. Sarcasm is best humour, teh best lolz. I'm Pyotr. Um... Right then. I apologise for being a bitch, but y'know. Can't help speaking my mind, even if it comes out a jumble of shit.' It occurred to her that neither of them had really swore. Confirmation then that they were nice people aka the sort that got conned and taken advantage of. 'But I am a bitch. Or ass, your pick. Call me what you like.' She lapsed into awkward silence again, unsure of where she was going with this. It wasn't as though she wanted to join a party and even if she did, Pyotr would much prefer to be in the company of other self-serving cynical fucks rather than nice people, but her options weren't great at the moment. 'Uh... I take it you guys wouldn't want a bitch on the team, even temporarily..?' Not the best way to broach the subject, but Pyotr had never pretended to be a great orator. She had considered trying to explain herself a little, but what was there to say? Two days into the game and the best she had achieved was hitting the stack limit on the <<Drunk>> status effect...
I'll have to post soon, so raven and slyph, the sooner you guys get that collab done the better.
So... Postage?
I was going to wait for rusher to post, but I'll get one up tonight.
Duncan had some reservations about the blueprints accuracy, but nevertheless had handed them over to the resident tech nut. If Xerox managed to get something useful out of them, then great. If not, then no great loss. While the young SeeD was working, Duncan headed over to Hector and Selena to give them their mission. 'No such luck. We have absolutely zero information on who or where they'll be. You'll just have to keep a good eye on the crowd. I'm also worried about the possibility of someone else messing with the plan, so keep an eye out for anyone suspicious. Kill or capture, I'll leave the decision to you. Well, except the spooks; kill them at your leisure.' Giving Selena a respectful, if stiff nod, Duncan turned to leave. 'You'll be fine, just don't do anything I wouldn't do.'

It didn't take long for techie to find a weakness and he soon collared Duncan as he was heading back to run over the final details with his father. 'Interesting... I could just shoot it with said rifle; I'll be stationed on a rooftop nearby anyway.' But adding too many moving parts into the plan was risky and only left more chances for things to go wrong. 'Maybe give Heloise something?' The woman in question made her presence known as Duncan lapsed into thoughtful silence as the two discussed the idea. Despite her attitude last night, she seemed professional enough... and it wasn't as though Jericho had acted properly either. He wondered, not for the first time, when his job had evolved from mediating classrooms spats to maintaining discipline in a private army... and how the two were not that dissimilar. He folded his arms restlessly as they talked, wiling them to come to a decision faster when another movement caught his eye. 'Kein! Over here.', Duncan called out, clicking his fingers impatiently. 'I want you with Syrus.' His voice had dropped dramatically and once again held a conspiratorial tone. 'The boy's heart is in the right place, but I'm worried tha-' He stopped abruptly as the redhead in question wandered into view. 'Keep an eye on him,' he whispered. 'And don't let him do anything stupid. Go on, you two head to Point Four.'

'Hey, Syrus man!' Duncan had slunk off with an odd look in his eye and Kein was left with little choice but to carry out his orders, even if they did feel like a small betrayal of trust. 'You're with me, on the right side of the road. Boss wants us to head out; you ready?'
Just waiting on Slyph.
Gracelyn with hair will be readily accepted, if slightly unnerving. But yeah, but in stasis I just mean off somewhere else, doing Gracelyn things offscreen as opposed to, iunno.. cryostasis or something.
I'll hopefully post tomorrow and we'll move on early next week once everyone's wrapped up their conversations and made it to their positions around the parade. I leave it to you guys to decide who goes where, as there are two teams of three to attack the float plus Heloise doing her thing. Everyone else will be scattered throughout the crowd on standby. Just assume Duncan went through the plan in detail offscreen.
/edit Kein is in one strike team and Duncan will be overseeing the operation from a vantage point somewhere. NPC Kein if you want, or else I'll control him in my post.
Alright then, whop else is going to post? @soren, I'm looking at you.
