'So damn tired...' That was the only thought that crossed Masahide's mind as he slowly began rising from his bed. The park had took a number on the boy, causing sharp pains and aches to course through his body from the labor the night before. Still, the boy forced himself to his feet as he began to put on a fresh suit- all the while yawning and stretching as he tried to adjust. Shortly after, he'd find himself in the bathroom neighboring his bedroom, going over the same routine as he briefly styled his hair and turned to leave. It was then that he paused, eyeing himself over in the mirror as he looked over himself- as he did the night before. Still as pale as a ghost, and those dark circles under his eyes still prevalent. '... Maybe I'll head home early tonight?' Masa thought to himself as he continued to leave the room, making his way down stairs.

The hardwood platforms creaked softly under the weight of the boy, despite having survived many generations of the Saji family, it was beginning to show it's age. Even then, it was very well maintained: nearly no dust was present, the carpets well cleaned, and even the lights in the house seemed to be new. Or at least immaculately well kept. But the visual were soon trumped by the scents wafting about the abode, originating form the kitchen as subtle clatter and commotion would be heard. Reaching the doorway within moments, Masa would peek his head inside- spying his mother and her daily practice of cooking breakfast...

"Morning." Masahide spoke as he now fully entered the kitchen, causing his mother to jump as if slightly startled.

"Masa?" She replied, setting her whisk aside for a moment as she seemed somewhat awe struck. True, it had been a while since Masa had made time to converse with his mother, and even longer since he'd stopped by for her cooking. Still, the look subsided into a warm smile as she returned to her labors, "Glad to see you up and about. I was worried you were going to sleep all day, what with you coming home so late."

"I didn't plan on being up this early either... But I've got a couple of things to do before practice today." Masa made his way to the counter at his mother's side as he leaned against it, unable to suppress an audible groan from the strain his muscles were experiencing.

"Really, Masa?" His mother's eyes had that look again... The same look he had gotten the night before form that girl, "Could you skip at least one day to get some rest? I mean, you haven't mis-"

"I'm fine." Masa replied curtly, eyeing over his mother out of the corner of his eyes as he forced himself to stand... The concern on his mother's face was more then evident, but he wouldn't hear another word, "I'll try to be home after practice."

"Masa... Just- Be careful." Was his mother's final reply, placing her free hand on his shoulder as she leaned in to kiss him upon the cheek, before returning to her work. As Masa left his home, the sound of the shutting door would trigger his mother to pause in her efforts as she began to cry.

Ferrero Mall

It seemed like an eternity had passed as Masa entered the mall, his legs tensing up and cramping slightly as he paused a moment. It had only been yesterday since he had been here, but all at once it seemed like a different place. Was it always this busy? Had he just not noticed? Even with experiencing the rush firsthand, it was different looking from the outside in. Still, he'd begin traversing the mall, though with no real goal in mind. Even he didn't know why he was here... A few people had recognized him and snickered slight, but all at once their attention became diverted as they rushed to a growing commotion. Though curious, Masa would make no attempt to actually see what was going on- merely posting himself upon a wall as he watched over the crowd.

A lucky split in the crowd revealed what looked to be a fight, "Really? In broad daylight? What type of idiots would throw down in the mall at a time like this?" Shaking his head, he'd merely wait patiently, watching the events play out- an amused smirk subtly spread across his lips.
Kk. And all good @Fedested.
The events between Ama and myself are occurring on 4.26, filling time until the dungeon was over. We'll be on the 27th with either Ama's or my post... probably.

What were all these rose petals doing flying about? Swiping his hand in front of him as he attempted to divert them from his face and path before coming to a stop, 'Well that was odd. My first time actually out on the town, and we walk into a blizzard of flowers.' He couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he turned to face her. It was then that he noticed her odd pauses and daydreaming, causing him to roll his eyes- though more so out of amusement than annoyance. Still, his expression returned to it's neutral state as she inquired about him.

"I've always been a little... Overwhelmed, I guess you could say," He was reluctant to speak of his past, that much was obvious... But she had him talking, and wasn't as annoying as he thought she might've been at first- even with her odd habits. It was amusing to see how lost in her thoughts she became at a moments notice, but still she continued to follow, "I imagine that spill of yours was pretty embarrassing. My condolences. You seemed to come out of it no worse for wear, though." As he waited for her to draw closer to him, he flipped open his phone to scroll through his messages and emails. He had a few requests from the local shrine to help with the landscaping, at least two from the Inn to assist housekeeping, and one quest from the park to man one of their shops tonight.

"... Well isn't that grand," It was clear he hadn't intended for that to be out loud, closing his phone with a subtle sigh as he looked upon Shizuka, "Well, I had planned on heading to the amusement park. Granted it was supposed to be my day off, but it looks like they need me. Guess these sale's are really taking their toll." It was clear that he wasn't looking forward to it (at least from the tone of his voice), but they had started headed in that direction anyways. With a subtle sigh, he'd bow his head respectfully, before turning to leave, "See you around."
We'll say my post happens after wallace's actions ICly.
Sweet, thanks for rolling with my bad continuity.

No worries, it happens. Just glad to see the ball rolling. And as for Koji's entrance... I mean come on, what would you expect a samurai trained by dragons to do.
Falling back to play the role of rear guard, Koji had merely remained silent as the warrior strode across the road. Having seen no sign of trouble (aside for the dead bodies a time earlier) he had decided to defend their path of retreat. Rather not flee into a horde of monsters... Still, it was rather pleasant, gave the warrior plenty of time to reflect on his thoughts... That is until a putrid odor assaulted his nostrils like a putrid wall. Snapping back to reality, he'd glance around as he now realized the state of the path they traveled upon. Decay was abundant and the smell gave no hint to it's departure or origin.

At least until the bandaged one spoke. Though not able to follow alot of his speech, he did hear one thing that caught his attention- danger. At once the warrior cursed himself, 'If only I were at the front-'. Though he noticed the change in the beast hunter's demeanor as he consulted the bandaged one, this would not keep Koji's attention for long.

"I will find beast and others! You know monster? Make plan!" And with that, Koji would rocket himself into the forest, aiming to bound from treetop to treetop while attempting to keep the trail of slime in sight. The strength of the smell was getting stronger... He had to be getting closer. Though this continued travel at this pace would begin to fatigue him, his determination supressed the feeling. After a few more moments, a familiar sight fell upon him.

'The flying-woman!' at once his spirits rose, seeing the sight of an ally and then the other two that came into view shortly there afterwards... However, that joy gave way to anger as he eyed the beast that stood before them.

"Fear the wrath of the Dragon!" the warrior shouted in draconic, the forest and the area around resonating and echoing with the mighty roar that to the unfamiliar was no different then that of an actual dragon's bellowing. As he drew in to engage, his hand at once snapped to his blade, his fiery gaze focused on the creature before him.
Works for me. I'll draft up something soon.
Sorry to be this guy, but I had placed Koji at the front of the party to scout for this such as this. Makes sense that he would be able to see the mess and report back before they had stumbled across it. Hate to be knit picky.
It's better not to see their faces... it'll just make it harder when they doe.
