Only got into it around the time of Awakening. But I was a fan of FF Tactics and Tactics Orge, and FE kinda put the love for strategy and flashy animations together, so i was hooked.
Nice. I'll get to work on a CS when I can. I did have one idea that I wanted to discuss though. Rather it be in PMs or Open forum?
Interested. Still open?
Kinda of an unrelated, but still relevant note: About how long does it take you guys to type out your posts? The reason why I ask is that I see these walls of texts that still have a lot of quality to them, but I can't even think that far behind/ahead enough to put it into narrative. Granted that may be because I try to post something on the same day that I start typing it, and if so would you say I need to stall a bit? (I.E. It took like 15 mins to put up the post i did- which included reading up on the ship and previous posts while typing)
Nathaniel Norstrom
Mess Hall

"Well that was a rousing speech, wasn't it Faris?" A slender man whispered inaudibly from behind the upturned collar of his jacket. Though his eyes seemed focused upon the captain during his display, in actuality: his attention was drawn to the inner-workings of the ship that were being relayed to him via his small automaton that was now skittering about the ship. Of course his little creation was set loose only after the Captain had welcomed them aboard the ship... Officially. Still, the fact remained, that if Nathan was to serve upon this ship, he'd like to get to know 'her' a little better. He didn't regret that decision at all.

As visions of the ships tech began showing upon his HUD, Nathan could only smile in satisfaction. It seemed like it had been forever since he had time to settle down with any sort of machinery... Well aside from the bionic limb upgrade he was apart of less than a month ago, but that didn't count. Here, he was surrounded by it. As the prospects of what was to become began playing out before him, he couldn't help but remove his hat from his head and sigh in satisfaction.

"I think that's enough for now Faris, we'll scout out more later." The man spoke slightly louder, partially forgetting he wasn't alone in the hall. As the realization of his new station began to settle upon him, Nathaniel couldn't help but let his frown fade slightly. 'They are pirates after all... If I'm going to survive even the first boarding, I've gotta learn how to use these,' no sooner than the thought had crossed his mind was he idly peering down onto his rather packed duffle bag. There it all was.. The armor he had made some few years ago, the two pistols that he hardly ever fired, and the katana that- well it looked badass. Still, Nathan recognized that if he was going to have any chance at living a long life in this line of work- he had to get his hands dirty. But for now, that could wait. As he sat idly- waiting for Faris- One could see the rather satisfied smile of the seemingly absent minded man.
"... The name is Leon, Mr. Black. A refugee from Fabletown just like the rest that attend tonight's festivities. If you wish to discuss business now, I'm afraid I must decline. You can stop by my shop later, and we'll talk then," Leon added curtly, obviously offended by the black dressed man. It was one thing to question him, it was another to doubt his word. Surely the word of one who would willingly subject himself to death is beyond reproach? Either way, Leon felt it was time to draw this conversation to a close, "Enjoy the rest of your evening, Mr. Black."

With that, Leon would turn his back abruptly on the man and return to the party at large. He wasn't attending tonight's event to be badgered about the contents of his larder. Instead, he turned back to the socialites, the people to which he felt more accustomed. Black held his own... 'Charm', but that quickly wore thin on Leon's nerves. Now attempting to save the appeal of tonight's event, Leon found himself searching for any new form of entertainment. and how quickly it was found.

Had the man been up close, he might not have seen it; but from the outside looking in- it was as plan as day. A rather familiar fable was making rounds amongst the crowd, his deft hands providing not even a subtle hint of his theivery- or at least to those that were not paying attention. It was when the man paused, that Leon would approach him from the flank, "Hello, Robin, enjoying tonight's festivities? Anything 'interesting' that caught your eye recently?" Leon spoke pointedly, though with a tone that resembled more amusement than anything else.
To be clear (before I type up a post that makes me look like an idiot) Nathan is along with the new recruits, or no?
@Zobozun

My post is subject to change. Not really sure what creatures would be deemed consumable (I.E: Unicorns, Dragons, Phoenixes and such) As well as Mr. Black's character. The idea behind the character is pretty obscure, so I don't know if he would be common knowledge to all fables. Not necessarily what he does or who he works for, but rather who he is by name alone

Still awaiting an answer to this before I post.

What's wrong with telekinetic shields and void spheres?

Nothing wrong with them, but in the face of an explosion, Vex would look for something more solid than flesh. He might've hid behind the robot if he were active last round, but outside of meta-gaming, Vex would look to escape the explosion, not just hide form it.
I mean if it would make your day, I can put him in the nest.
