I'll give it some though, and let you know tomorrow. If I decide I can't GM it anymore, someone else can take the reigns or just let it die.
Liam&Matt

Matt's brow raised curious as he watched the reactions of the two women who just stepped into his home. At first he was surprised at how different their reactions were, but soon, the surprise faded to curiosity. He leaned forward against the table, nodding his head to show his attentiveness as his eyes remained focused forward and his voice silent. Once the one called Sam had spoken out about not knowing about her own powers, Matt's gaze became locked upon her. To those paying attention, it would seem he was mumbling something under his breath. It was almost as if he was preforming some sort of appraisal or calculating something about her in his head.

"A local pizzeria down the road. A family friend just recently opened up their first locale a few weeks ago. It's small, but you won't find any better." Matt's gaze moved over to the elder female as he spoke, bowing his head respectfully to Artemis as he finished his address to her. As Sam made her own announcement, Matt couldn't help but chuckle as his gaze returned to her, "Noted, but Nasus and I have agreed to keep our names hidden in the presence of others. The business cards an obvious exception, but we had no better way of trying to lead multiple people to our location."

As Matt's speech came to a close, his slight smile faded to a more business like visage, "I guess now would be a good time to discuss why I invited you both here-" Matt began, though quickly interrupted as the blonde haired Liam cleared his throat. Matt turned his gaze to Liam, raising a brow in a slight curiosity; to which Liam's response was a simple nod. Matt chuckled slightly as he shook his head once more, "Cat's out of the bag already... Great. Still, I want to make it clear that we will not pose a threat to you, unless you choose to flex your new found muscles against the people of this city." At this, Matt's humored tone fell sharply into a stern and meaningful announcement. A moment of silence passed by before Liam cleared his throat once again.

"Now we know this whole venture is a little odd, and we're not looking for instant cooperation. We just want you to be aware of our presence and our assistance, but only if you offer your own to us. Matt here has a couple of open rooms. I've talked him into offering them as housing for those who don't want to be alone, or shelter for those who need it." Liam's vision flickered momentarily to his raven haired friend as he finished, seeing Matt sigh heavily but nod in agreement, "Now, we don't want to start any trouble with anyone, but we won't stand by and let someone just strong-arm the populace. Just because we have these powers doesn't mean we have to be warmongering dicks like some of the champions."

At this mention, Matt leaned forward, "Which is why I'm curious. Did anyone in that café show any powers of some of those from the Shadow Isles or Noxious?"

To clarify the misconception:

The lack of update post is on me. I've been mulling this thread over in my head, and I've come to realize that I'm at a loss. I figured with the inclusion of new people, it would freshen things up and reinvigorate me... Unfortunately, it did not. I've been typing up, updating, and deleting the next update post for awhile now, and nothing seems to fit or sit right with me.
Liam&Matt

Liam blinked. He could only blink. The pig headed and stubborn nature of the punk was expected, but not to his magnitude. He was tempted to withdraw his invitation and leave the... 'Woman' to her own devices, but he shook his head as he fell silent. 'Damn you, Matt' the only thought resounding in his mind. For a moment, he kept silent, watching as the doors to the elevator's closed before turning his head to face the girl dressed in the grey sweater.

"Firstly, it's chaotic enough that we have these power, not to mention if we go flourishing them about. Can you imagine how someone would react to people shooting lasers around, or sudden explosions? Imagine if someone was given the powers of Cho'gath." Liam could only shudder at his own mention, his mind drifting to his hatred of the aforementioned champion, "Secondly, what if we were given the mentality of our champions? Imagine someone like Jinx, Thresh, or any of the Noxians? They're probably looking for others to cull or exterminate, or simply to face their rivals." At this he fell silent, obviously troubled by a passing thought before dismissing it. It was then that his attention was turned to the other woman. The temperature continued to climb inside of the elevator, causing the steady rise to the top to be almost intolerable. Liam opened his mouth to say something in protest, quickly shaking his head as his gaze returned forward.

The tenth floor was their destination, the very top of the building. It didn't take long, but the hot-boxing certainly made it seem that way. Once the doors to the elevator open, Liam made his way forward at a brisk pace, turning to the first door on his right as he gripped the handle and opened the door inwards, disappearing into the room.

"Two so far. Haven't seen any others." Liam's voice could be heard from inside, echoing into the hallway.

"Just two?" An unfamiliar voice called from within, "Guess it's better then none... Show them in."

Those who followed would see the interior of the room, a largely expansive studio apartment, seeming to stretch across the full right corner of the building's apex. The apartment was well kept, though sparsely furnished. The one outstanding feature to this was a long collapsible table, flanked on all sides by a mixture of couches, recliners, and bar stools; atop it sat a small variety of pizzas, sandwiches, and sodas. At the head opposite the door, a dark haired male sat reclining in what seemed to be a computer chair that swiveled slightly as he stood.

"Welcome. Sit and help yourself," With that, he bowed his head respectfully before continuing, "My name is Matthew, I see you've already met Nasus." At first, Liam opened his mouth to protest, but fell silent as Matt cast him a knowing glance, "For the sake of this discussion, you can call me Matt or Ekko." He shot a knowing glance to both of the women before returning to his seat, looking to the two of them almost expectantly.

"Lead the way." Masa replied, following in behind the girl without so much as a second thought. As they continued their venture, Masa took a moment to remove his phone, opening it to the same message he had left not even a few moments before.

Hey. Been busy?, he briskly typed in, pausing a moment before sending it on it's way. All the while, his face bore an smile -an odd occurance for the stoic faced youth- but it seemed not to bother him in the slightest. Instead, he actually made an effort to converse with the raven haired girl as they continued. Once at their destination, Masa made it a point to gaze about, taking in the venue's appearance before entering shortly behind her. Sure enough, you could smell the coffee the moment you stepped through the door, which was all that Masa needed. Secretly, coffee had been an addiction of his for some time now. What else was going to keep you alive after a full day of school and working on the side?

As he noticed Shizuka reaching for her wallet, Masa reached a hand out and shook his head, "Whatever you want, it's on me. I owe you for introducing me to this place." With that, he walked up to the counter and briefly looked over the venue's offerings. It didn't take him long to come to his decision, ordering a double-shot expresso as he motioned back to Shizuka, "Plus whatever she'll have." It was then Masa turned his gaze to Shizuka, a small grin with an expectant look shot in her direction.
Liam

With a not-so-subtle groan, Liam merely pinched the bridge of his nose as he shook his head. The old man behind the counter merely raised his brow as he began shying away. It seemed like he was going for something under the counter, before Liam frantically waved his hands to catch the old man's attention.

"No, no need for cops!" Liam spoke, an uncomfortable smile spread across his visage, "They won't cause any problems!" His words were frantic, visibly sweating (though one could not be sure if it was from tension or the rising heat). "We met them at the cafe, and needed to speak with them on something." At this point, Liam began tugging at the collar of his shirt, drawing attention to the heat in the room, "By the way, you need to get maintenance on the horn. Getting a little toasty in here now adays."

It was this suggestion that gave the man pause, checking his thermostat with a wary grin, "Yes, I guess so. I thought it was just me and my old age." With that, he moved further away, tucking into a back room.

At this point, Liam watched carefully as the man left sight. Once free from vision, he looked at both women with an obvious anger to his gaze- or at least when it was directed towards Sam, "Look, he's just the landlord. He owns this place and wouldn't know how to be devious if he tried," At this Liam loosened his collar, obvious trying to manage some form of comfort despite his angst, "And as for what we want with you, it's a simple talk! What you think of me, is of no consequence, but don't go flying off the handle and exposing yourself!" At this point, he was staring daggers at Sam.

Shortly afterwards, he'd give a heavy sigh as he attempted to soften his gaze, "Matt was worried that there might be people with powers... Safe to say, you two and the others proved him right. We decided yesterday that we would attempt to make contact with these people and gauge their intentions. This meeting was his attempt to get to know you and your powers, and whether we should be worried about your intentions." At this, he couldn't help but chuckle, "And despite my best efforts to be cordial, you've grown to suspect me. Well, whatever. Now you know the big surprise," Liam turned to the elevator, noticeably mumbling under his breath, "No one appreciates subtly."

As he entered the vessel, he reached to the side, seeming to be holding the elevator, "Welp, now's your chance. Are you coming or not?"

As the girl spoke, Masa's gaze shifted over to her form. Seeing the look that had enraged him early no longer present, he felt a little more at ease... Then the realization that he had devulged what he had began to set in. With a slight sneer and a shake of his head, he'd nod as he returned to keeping his gaze locked upon her. He expected to be angered or enraged, but in fact, he felt a subtle relief settle upon him. So much so that he even cracked a minor smirk at her attempt to find another expression to replace the latter. Nodding his head absentmindedly in thought, he slowly slipped into his own thoughts. Perhaps this girl was right? Maybe he was being to hard on himself? Maybe his efforts were getting the better of him? Whatever the case, it definitely caused a moment of pause and reflection... If only for that moment at least.

'No. I still have more to give. To quit now would just be resigning to my weakness.' His eyes flickered away for a moment, 'No one will remember the weak and useless.' His vision returned to Shizuka, grin fading slightly back to his former expression.

"I don't know." He stated, drumming his finger tips against the wooden back of the bench, "I don't really have a sweet tooth. Maybe another-" At this moment, an audible buzz could be heard from the boys pocket. Sighing slightly at the inopportune message, he retrieved his phone and flipped it open. Assuredly, it was going to be a local shop-keep, or possibly his mother asking when he'll be home.

Hey.

Masa sat there slightly stunned. After days of nothing but silence and the cold shoulder, Yamato had finally gotten back to his cousin. Unsure of what to do, Masa flipped the phone closed as he continued to stare forward into the scenery of the park. His expression bore confusion thinly veiled confusion, and even more obvious joy. Glancing back to Shizuka, he'd raise from the bench, "Sure. Why the hell not?"

"Hello?" An elderly voice rang through the small intercom outside the doors. The building was multiple stories tall, looming over the smaller strips of buildings that flanked it on either sides of the street. Though this wasn't the only apartment complex in town, it was definitely one of the largest. However, despite it's size, this building was not the most well kept structure. Some of the windows were broken, and the exterior brick was littered with graffiti and other markings.

Still, as the women waited outside, the voice came once again, "Hello? What can I do for you two?" The intercom was starting to crackle with static as he wait just for a moment for an answer.

"They're here for us, Roger. We invited them over." A somewhat familiar voice chimed in.

"Oh? Matt has guests? ... Well, I guess there's a first time for everything. I'll let them through." At this point, a loud buzz rang out, causing both doors to swing inwards as the interior came into view. Almost instantly, the girls would notice the condition of the lounge. As the building had seemed somewhat run down, the interior was kept in a much better state. Still, the colors were rather bland- the entire lobby was painted a bland cream color, the wooden reception desk at the back a stark contrast with it's darker hue. Behind the counter was an elderly man, balding and seeming to be in the latter years of his life. He bored a soft smile as he waved at both girl, "Welcome to my apartments! Please enjoy your stay."

"By the way, Matt's expecting others as well. They should have his business card," A familiar voice spoke from the side, the blonde male from the day before standing beside what seemed to be an elevator. Bowing his head slightly, he bore his signature grin as he waved to the duo as well, "Glad to see you could make it. Hopefully you won't be the only ones."

"If you're throwing a party, please be mindful of those downstairs." Roger added, his friendly demeanor hardening slightly.

"Of course, Roger." Liam spoke, motioning with his head to the elevator as his gaze fell upon the women once more, "Matt's waiting."
GM time skipped. Usually those trying to wrap up events will separate the last days post from the current days just so everyone is on the same day and won't have to worry about retconning. So if you are on the day before, wrap it up and act out your plans for the current day.
