I actually don't mind complexity. I actually watching JP's rollplay series on this game so I think I have a firm grip on the mechanics. And I hope we level up, as that would get really dull if we are level ones for ever (esp for mage/priest) I am a very methodically person. Like right now, I am already thing about how to do crazy stuff that makes sense in game. I can understand you not want using the traditional leveling up system (considering it is very much based on sessions which we don't have) but some form of leveling up or character progression is going to be needed.

Edit- Also, the pally killing other players isn't so a rule. It is more so thing that happens due to the archetype.
Turtlicious- Your post directly above it? If you are talking about the second part, that is just something I heard quite a bit in my limited experience with tabletops.
My bacteria is going to swim around and be all tasty and when your bacteria tries to eat it, it just grows and grows and grows, until all of your creatures become fat and lazy.
Him being the the "Chaos One" is actually not intended, but I am sticking with it. It was going to be "The Chaotic One" but I didn't like how it sounded, and then it was the "The Being of Chaos" which was just to long, so I went to change it back to the "The Chaotic One" but "Chaos One" just sounds better.

Also, I kind presumed my character would be the one trying to mess everyone up, but I am more so a trickster than a flat out antagonist.

I am fine starting as soon as possible. If new people show up, great. It would lead to an interesting dynamic is the entities changed as the players did (So long as the RP lives.) Like how entities can just appear and disappear and reappear at random. It would give an explaination for the flow of players though an RP and would add to the world building a lot.
That is kind of what I started to think it was after you told me more about the Paladin. (At first, I thought Quests were completely separate from boons and vows and were something else entirely different)

I would also like to ask you about how Pallys can get aggressive and kill team-mates. I am not sure what I am want to ask, but I am just not sure how I feel about it.
So, Paladin's questing system is still confusing me a bit. So to be clear, during game play I have to go to pray about half an hour, and declare I am going to do a quest. I then choose my boons out of any of the boons that would help me with quest. I am then given my vows, and I must abide by my vows to keep my boons or I got to get another quest. And what happens when I keep a quest. (And if I can choose different boons every time, I will just use the two on CS as the generic ones I have most of the time and if I am going into a volcano, I am going to replace poison immunity with fire/heat immunity. Or just switch some out for a little while to play around with them)
Title: The Chaos One
Intent: He doesn't have an true intent. He only seeks amuse which takes from taking the natural world and bending it to his whims, the result can range from mystical and beauty to disturbing and evil. Normally, he doesn't care who lives or dies, but the The Chaos One is known to be heavily biased towards his favorites. If he likes a race of beings, he will give them favor over those he dislikes. He often likes to make creatures that he dislikes to become self-destructive until they are completely extinct. He also prefers to have his creatures mess with creatures outside of his sphere for laughs.

This has caught my eye. I might be getting over my head with RPs I am getting into, but I have spare time a plenty
For clarification, what does praying and my poison immunity (from my boon) actually mean.
What should I do about my Vows? Should I pick them, or should you? And if I pick them, how many should I pick?
