Rachel took one step back as she held her scythe up defensively, for some reason though she felt like she didn't have to fear this man, this fog seemed familiar as well and remembered she saw something recently when she was attacked.
"You were there when the Angels attacked weren't you? Tell me are you a friend or foe? I didn't not get the change to observe you properly as I was made a pincushion off with some arrows" She asked him though didn't drop her stance. One had to be careful with these types of characters for who knew what lay under those dark hoods.

Rachel nodded and slowly got to her feet as she prepared to use her magic, hoping strongly that she could still use some of it at least, she was worried though because she didn't know how to fight without her magic and feared she would become useless to the team.
"Right" She muttered and took a breath to calm herself, first things first was trying to summon her weapon cause if she had that she wouldn't be completely useless. Holding out her hand she concentrated a little more than she normally had to but her Scythe soon appeared in hand, placing it aside she went to summon her next weapon the Sword Masemune "All right, so I can still summon my weapons but it takes more concentration than normal" she spoke to herself as she looked to her sword before placing that aside as well.
Rachel then turned to Spartan and gazed to him a little as he seemed to be resting, holding up her hand the hybrid attempted to force push him over, yet nothing happened no matter how hard she tried "Damn can't use that, not like I did much anyway" She sighed as she gazed to her hand.
Rachel was about to continue on with the test of her powers but was interrupted by the lights going out, grabbing one of her weapons from nearby the hybrid watched until only one was left by the door "Who goes there!?" She called out ignoring the chill in the air or the unnatural fog that covered the floor of the lybrary. She was weary about strangers now after what has happened to her and no doubt Spartan was to.

Rachel jumped in surprise when Spartan slammed his fists into the table, watching as he expressed his caring anger towards her current situation "Hey come on now we aren't at square one. more like square two or three. We at least know what the mark is now and how to get rid of it: she smiled as she placed her hand on Spartan's arm.
When he mentioned about getting rest Rachel wanted nothing more but to comply, though she needed to test out her other powers as well to see if they have been affected "Yes I agree I do, I'm passing out almost but I can't just yet, I still need to test my powers" She told him sounding concerned "And there is a little bit more in this book I skimmed over that I want to read, it will take only minutes" she explained to him "After that then I promise I will go straight to bed and sleep for as long as I can" Rachel assured him

Rachel gazed to the angelic writing trying to make full sense of it, it was strange since she had never seen the text before yet she could read it almost perfectly, she just figured it was the angel in her that helped her read it.
"Hmmm this part is difficult to read, though I think it says....it says you need to get the caster to remove it or kill the caster to undo the mark" She said dead panned "Great...who knows where he is at the moment and I can't go waltzing up to him or they will get me for sure" Rachel sighed frustrated "I guess this isn't going to be fixed for a while because we still have the major problem to deal with Spartan, that one Jacob left you in charge of"
