"I'm fine, I've been through worse, and hunger isn't an issue to me" Kyla told him as she gathered the blanket and anything else she could scavenge, her weary eyes showing the truth behind her words "My first concern is you, you are actually wanted and loved by someone" She muttered as she started to walk. Kyla made sure to stay far enough to let Edward walk on his own, though close enough to catch him if he suddenly fell "And you weren't outside, you were in the best shelter I could make" She shrugged.
Kyla knew she needed medicine, food and rest but she was being as stubborn as Edward was, that and she was tougher than him when it came to being harmed and hungry like this. Though she had lost a lot of blood and the cold and wet was getting to her since she had given up her shelter. the rages tied around all her bullet wounds were dry and crusted with blood and the graze on her cheek deep and clearly visible.
"It shouldn't take to long to get back to your place, it was never far in the first place" She told Edward as the redhead walked in front and peeked out of the alleyway before motioning him to follow.

In he few days that they had been hiding in the ally way Kyna had done what she could to make Edward more comfortable, using all the money she had saved to get him a blanket and food. She how ever continued to sit outside her makeshift home in the alleyway, weak from blood lose as she had only just managed to stop it and probably getting an infection too, plus she was working herself on low energy and lack of sleep to keep the kid as warm as possible, even giving him her hat .
"Damn rich boy, getting worse just from a few broken ribs" She scoffed under her voice as she sat in the rain that had finally come, Gun in her hand still and stomach grumbling "He would never survive this life" She sighed knowing she had to get him home soon.
Getting up she limped over to the leaking cardboard and moth eaten sheets home and opened it up to the kid inside, her face pale against the darkness created by the rain clouds "Come on I think it's safe to return you home" She told him "Got enough energy to go the distance? Or do I have to carry you again?"

Kyla stopped for a moment when Edward offered to take her home with him, turning back with a skeptical and confused look "Did you really just say that? Wow I guess even the Arrogant brat is capable of feeling something or the lowest class" She frowned yet her voice wasn't as harsh as it was before.
"We can't return to your place just yet, they will still be there waiting, give it a day or so but until then we can stay here" She told him and limped over to her makeshift home, setting it back up again with ease "You being as fragile as you appear to be can sleep inside on the mattress for the night and rest more, I will stay outside on guard" Kyla said as she told him what to do, though she wouldn't pass up an chance to get off the streets.
Kyla then went into her bag and brought out a small medical kit that she had saved up for, grabbing tweezers and a knife then sitting on the ground rather shakily. The red head cut away at her pants around the wounds, then took the deepest breath she could before sticking the tweezers into one of the bullet wounds and digging around to try and remove the bullet. The pain was clear on her face as she groaned, feeling like she was going to vomit and pass out from the pain though again she refused to look weak in front of Edward.

These two characters are the most interesting pair we have had yet.
"Oh I'm sorry, you must forgive me for being unintentionally born only a weak human" Kyla spat at the boy before peeking around the corner, aiming her gun and firing two shots that got one man and scared away the other. once it was clear she got up and limped around the alleyway, kicking down her makeshift house and gathering her hand full of items. Kyla had decided that she would leave, even in her condition she didn't want to be around those hunters or this brat of a by any longer
"Consider getting rid of those guys my last bit of help to you, and by the way welcome to my home, now I have to leave to find a new one thanks to you" She guested around the dump before turning and limping away. Blood left a trail behind her and her skin was looking pale, though to determined and stubborn to show weakness in front of Edward she kept strong and kept going.
