Joshua stopped and turned his head towards Imgor, and walked over while rolling his eyes. Crouching down to help him get back up, Joshua commented "You should probably look where you're going, or perhaps you trained a bit too hard?". He gave a short lesson; "Actually, this is a good time to remind you three about something. Training your magical capabilities is all well and good, but much like physical exercise, you can't overdo it or you'll break something. And the... magical.. essence...? doesn't heal so easily, if at all, if you really screw up."

Joshua coughed unexpectedly, before continuing. "Of course, you still should exercise what you do know of the arts every so often, but you should really be careful. I'm sure you'll be fine though, Imgor.". Joshua then breathed for a second and resumed the quiet travelling. He seemed to enjoy it, going on a long trip in general. The quartet eventually saw a stable on the road, and Joshua noted that there didn't seem to be an owner or anything in the area.

"How much do you reckon four permanent horses would cost? 800 coins? That seems fair to me.". Joshua got out six 'one hundreds' in addition to four 'fifties' and left them in a small bag on one of the stables' doors alongside a note, before jumping over one of the gates. ...What are you all giving me that face for? It isn't illegal for Hunters to do things like this if we leave a fair amount of money. Didn't I tell you this already?"

Well, that's of ambiguous moral fortitude. No sense in going against their mentor's wishes, though. "Don't squabble on getting which horse. Let's ride!"

The relatively large stable had nine other horses under its' wooden roof, and all seemed well-bred and fed enough. The three students must pick a horse for the foreseeable future.

Well, posted Nathan's introductory post. TL:DR; he gets buzzed and decides a drunken hiking trip would be a good idea, packs his suitcase for an adventure, then loses consciousness outside the 'barrier cave'. I do hope this is okay. If you'd like for me to 'delete' it and wait for your input, @Ryuzaki I'd be fine with that.

Nathan's Day

Nathan Danielsson, one of the residents of that Suburb, was not having a good day. He was trying to appreciate a 'sick-day', which was really just an excuse for him to be lazy for an entire 24 hours, but it was very boring. His books weren't enough anymore. 'Anime' was boring. Nathan looked over his bedroom, where he was lethargically staying in place on the bed for a few hours at this point.

He slowly got up and went to his cupboard, and showed to himself that yes, the hidden slot was still working. He pulled it out fully, and got out a small box. He set it on the top of the cupboard and opened it, gazing at the contents. He mumbled to himself, ".44... Enough to blow your head clean off. Still in good condition.. This hasn't seen any actual action, and I intend to keep it that way.", and began cleaning it. When he was done and put it back, he went to his kitchen. He went over the contents in his fridge, and got out some Whiskey, downing the equivalent of a few shots.

An 'aah' later, and Nathan mused. "I keep my gun loaded, Jack keeps me loaded. Good on him.". Slightly buzzed, he put his drink back and acquired his cellphone from the bedroom before checking it and his contacts. Audibly listing the contents, "Boss, Mom, Dad, Brother, Pizza..", and when he was done, he realized he didn't really have any friends. 'And I was in a party mood...'

"...Fuck it, I don't need friends to have a good time..!", Nathan angrily rambled while investigating his house for his keys which he lost every other day. "They'd all just be.. two-timing dames, or meatheads or something anyway..." Nathan couldn't find his keys, so he decided he'd just hike Mt. Ebott for fun. That could be fun. Hiking is enjoyable, right?

Nathan packed his bags and traded the contents of his business suitcase for hiking related things. He then realized he never actually got dressed and he was in his underwear right before opening the door. Blaming the whiskey, he then actually got dressed, and remembered to put his Grandfathers' old boots on. Whenever he was wearing those, he always felt like he could do the right thing. He put on his casual attire, deeming it good enough, and had a simple white T-shirt and khaki shorts on when all was said and done. Of course, the self-image of being a badass hiker immediately died when he noticed he put his comfiest pair of socks on, which were pink. Whatever, he just bolted out the door at that point.

He began his walk through the wilderness soon enough, taking a detour to evade other peoples' attentions as much as possible. He soon got to the base of the mountain and began walking the paths on it up, taking in the fresh mountain air through his nostrils. Arriving about halfway up the mountain, he plopped his ass down and checked his bags. 'Emergency Rations, Mountain Knife.. Why the hell is my detective outfit in here?... Medical supplies... Beer?'. Was alcohol in his bag the entire time?

Well, no party is complete without some drinking. He popped that bottle open and finished it in record time. Obviously, he was wrong on always making the best decision when he his 'Ass-kicking boots' on. He realized this, when he forgot to actually bring along his phone, and he had only 'one' sick day. Might as well see it through, as is the Danielsson way. Nathan drunkenly continued his bizarre adventure, tripping and going unconscious right before he reached a strange looking cave he found near the top.

That's a horrible idea. What the hell would it be about? It might be fine and fun, for a few minutes, but Sturgeons' law would always apply for such a large project.

Of course, as a romanticist that would be sorta neato.

LHG's Human

Name: Nathan Danielsson, 'A Concerned Citizen', 'That guy with the boots?'.

Age: 33

Appearance: Nathan is a somewhat larger fellow who alternates what he wears every other day, but he is always a fairly well-kempt man with a fire in his eyes and maybe a few crumbs around his mouth. All of his attire is somewhat cheap looking, and he favors brown or black as the primary color in any of his outfits' palette. However, no matter what, he wears his grandfathers' old grey boots when out in public due to his adamant belief of their 'character', as in their raw intimidation value, for each step holds great impact. He has brown eyes, black hair, and a 'sharper' face.

History/Personality: His family has been a long line of patriotic police or military officers who doubted the very early history of the world. He's broken that string and is a conspiracy theorist, in addition to being a private detective. He grew up in a city near Mt. Ebott (specifics up to GM), and prefers investigating the most 'moral' cases that come his way. He has a thing for looking into the 'Monsters from ancient history' for fun in his spare time, having long, restless nights reading books far older then he is in libraries more often then he'd admit.

It doesn't win him a lot of ladies.

He is, however, somewhat disgusted with his 'own people' for apparently locking up another sentient species long ago in their history, but he's still on the fence for where his allegiance would lie if things were to go to hell. He has an odd love for small-talk about anything, especially philosophical or moral points. He enjoys simplicity in everything; simple plots, plans, schemes, mechanisms, whatever. This may simply be due to him relishing when one of his cases is also easy to figure out, and it spilling into other areas of his life.

When he doesn't spend an entire night reading archaic accounts of monsters, he oftentimes watches Netflix and chills until morning comes instead. In addition, even though he regularly investigates crime scenes, he could never get used to the smell of blood. Even the hint of it in the air makes him want to puke. A strange individual indeed.
