You seem perhaps over-acquainted with death. The deaths of others.
*I shrug*
Comes with the job.

Was your home a meaningful place to you?

That must have been difficult for you. How could I describe death but as the personal, fully realized embodiment of that feeling of loss? Where not only one thing ends, but all things are torn from you.
<Snipped quote by LimeTime966>
Are you familiar with loss? Someone you cared about?
<Snipped quote by LimeTime966>
What about the ends of others?
<Snipped quote by LimeTime966>
But you understand the premise, yes?
<Snipped quote by LimeTime966>
I did say it was a generalization, after all. Maybe it looks like something else to you. A permanent end of another kind.
<Snipped quote by LimeTime966>
Let me give you an example. For most beings, death is about as final as it gets. Everything else that could happen to someone can be changed, but death is the only truly final outcome there is. The closing of a book never to be opened again. I generalize, of course, but it's probably the most extreme thing that could happen to anyone.

You're right again. And it's for that reason I think a perfect solution exists out there. Not everyone can be convinced by speech, and violence perpetuates the issue. But there are some things we can all agree on.
