Just go ahead and use claws after you find some or buy some in the RP.

Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with your CS at the moment. Just kind of waiting on the stuff you plan to update before I really give an all around okay. But since you want to post before you decide that, I am fine with accepting it for now and then seeing you update before giving you the 100% okay.
It looks fine to me, but wait for Caits input.
I doubt Caits will reject it though, unless I overlooked something.

Lina started to announce. "May the contestants in the Inn of Faith's Dart Competition step up to the competition area! From there, you will be given three darts, and a coin toss will decide who will go first. Today's prize is 2000 col and a week of free food!" There were some cheers, and others just shook their heads. Looking about, Umichi wondered why. He caught faintly the word of some whispers, "One of those NPCs will win again. Just watch." Shrugging it off, Umichi didn't care. Stepping into the area, he was up against an NPC named Gilbert. With the flip of a coin, Umichi lost the toss, and Gilbert had decided to go first. Throwing twice in the outer bull, and once in the inner bull, the NPC earned a ton (100 points), all of them shining, "activating" the sword skill <<Single shot>>

Umichi stepped up to the throwing area, holding his darts in one hand. Deciding to use <<Single shot>> as well, to not show off, he threw a dart into the triple 20, followed by the inner bull and finally just outside the triple 20, hitting the triple 5, earning him a ton 25. With that he won his first round. The other two NPCs had faced off and finished quickly, the other players took their time, not activating the sword skill, getting mostly inner bulls. Without the system assist, the scores were multiplied by 1.5. Earning about 2 tons each, which is normally impossible.

With that, there was three players and one NPC left. Without much of a break, Lina announced once more, "The first round winners are, Umichi, Thompson, Jessica and Ryuu No Kage. The pairs will be Umichi vs Jessica and Thompson vs Ryuu. Let's move on to round two!" Jessica was confident, as she saw Umichi's performance and believed she would get an easy win. Once again, she was to go first, and she got a three inner bulls, without the system assist, earning 2 tons 25. Holding all three darts at once, Umichi used the system assist again, utilizing a <<Triple Shot>>, hitting three triple 20s. Almost in shock, Jessica could not believe it. Throwing two at once, multiplied the score by 1.2, while all three multiplied the score by 1.5. With that, he earned 2 tons 70. The spectators were cheering. "Maybe he can win! The NPC won't beat that." Turning to the other match, Ryuu No Kage and Thompson had just finished as well. Thompson won with 2 tons 55. Ryuu No Kage was angry, starting to swear. Some spectators helped him out, telling him it was okay, it can't be helped.

Finally the finals. "We have the finals coming up after a 15 minute break. We will add a special rule, all three rounds can be played at once. Good luck!" Stepping out of the area, Umichi sat back down with Suki. "Phew. They are pretty tough." he smiled. "Want to eat something after the tournament?" he asked her, taking a sip of some water on the table.

Once the girl named Lilly left, Hax sighed deeply. "I guess she didn't see." He was relieved. Continuing with some footwork, he also had some weights as he was practicing, footwork and stances. After a while, he decided he should take a shower. Instead of the dorm shower, due to his circumstances, he had a private shower. The director gave him special permission to have one, due to the scars, to avoid questions and other annoyances. Some of the scars, from so long, still stung the skin. With each drop of water, the stinging could be felt all over. A wound so deep, it won't leave.

Once he finished his shower, Hax dressed in his clothes, which looked mostly the same as his other clothes. Taking some gum into his pocket and his gear, he then walked over to a frame hidden behind his bed, where no-one would notice. Looking at the picture, he closed his eyes for a moment. I'll be off now.Don't you worry about him, we will look after him. Continue to look over him. With that he put the frame back, and walked out.

Reaching the Cafeteria, he grabbed a tray and got some toast, eggs, tomato and bacon on a plate on the tray. Taking a seat away from the others, he silently said his prayers, Itadakimasu. Hax ate quickly, it took less than two minutes to finish. Gochisosama deshita Putting his tray with the plate away, he took out some gum and started to chew it. His face was still rather emotionless, but a bit mellow. Taking three more sticks of gum out, he flicked them, and they landed on the table, in the center between Lilly, Cassandra and Lorenzo. Today had ... a little bit of a more special meaning to the day. Walking away, he left the cafeteria.

Technically, you cannot, but we are open to having some sword skills added in. However, we will probably set a limit of sword skills per weapon set, and hence, there will not be any more skills after the last one is unlocked.

There was nothing here has been no indication that 1h-straight sword is required to unlock 1h-curved sword.
And in-fact, 1h-curved unlocks Katana skills but only after doing something special (which I am not sure of, but appears to be equipping a special katana first)
We have neglected to do that, since people wanted katanas, so we have gotten rid of this particular extra skill. We may introduce others later, if we see it fit, but most weapons are allowed.

On that note, claws are a legitimate weapon in SAO, and are definitely available early on, although, I do not know if they were unlocked or were allowed from the start. For this we will probably allow it from the start, regardless. The player in SAO, Argo, which has very little time in both the light novel and anime, but has more on in the Progressive series, is a player who utilises claws, and uses them at least from the second floor. So yeah. Go ahead and use claws.

Edit: Hm... unsure about the dual usage of claws. I don't have details whether she used two or not. In fact, there are no details. And it would contradict the theme of only one person having the unique skill <<Dual wield>> unless the two claws count as one set equipment, therefore, one weapon, hence, not dual wielding.

What has been said is most of what you need to know

Anyway, it is by your choice whether you start at level 1 or somewhere between 1 and 10.
Since it is still the early stages of the game, level 1 can still work, since there would be those still afraid to have left the town of beginnings and such.

The choice is yours. Oh, by the way, lightbox and hailfire as well as regendorf. This has not been stated on the guidebook yet, that you start off with two skill slots and that at level 9 you get a third skill slot. Thinking that about every 8~9 levels at the moment to get another skill slot to equip at the same time. If you have evidence somewhere that the level you get a skill slot is different, go ahead and tell us. This was just simply based on Kirito's level and the number of skill slots he had at level 96 (12).

From what I can tell, since Caits has not allocated a limit, we are always open for more people
If the number of people start getting to be to a great extent, we will probably look for another GM, but for now, there is no need for that.

Anyway, once you read the guide book, go ahead and make a character, and if you have questions go ahead and ask.
And just in case you ask, damage and exp is just a rough estimates, so it's okay if you don't get exactly, for example, 200 exp to level to level 2. It's just a rough thing. Just don't do go silly with things.

"Alright then." Umichi smiled back to Suki, walking towards the Inn of Faith with Suki in hand. Opening the door, he held it open until she went into the inn, and then followed in after her. There were a few people shifting tables and putting up dart boards, they seemed to be NPCs that worked in the inn. At the counter an NPC, named Lina, welcomed the two. "Welcome, to the Inn of Faith! Sorry, we are a little busy at the moment, we are about to hold a darts competition, running twice a week. Would you like to participate?"

For Suki, there was no accept button, only a decline. Unlike for Umichi.

Hitting accept, Lina started to explain. "This is a single round elimination type tournament. Currently there are 8 participants (Three are NPCs) Three darts are used per round, there is only one round between the two participants until the finals, which is a best of three. Although the <<Blade throwing>> skill is necessary, bonus points can be achieved by hitting the dart board without the system assist skill. Throwing multiple darts at once gives an even greater bonus. We run all rounds simultaneously. The first rounds will start in 5 minutes, for now just go ahead and practice or sit down."

Nodding to the NPC to show an understanding, Umichi dragged Suki to a table to sit. "Hm... so ... this is advantageous to real life dart players, huh? I wonder if there are any." Umichi spoke to Suki, looking a little excited and looking about. Although he only looked excited, he was actually very confident due to his ninjutsu training. He did not let it show, and, from what he was aware of, no one knew. A lot of the things he did in ninjutsu were being practiced subtly in this game, so his skills were still in a good condition.

As the time approached 0130, Hax finally closed his eyes, getting to sleep. His dreams were empty, nothing came. It was pure darkness. Left all alone. At 0530, he awoke. Lilly was still sleeping, so he made sure to brush his teeth and wash his face. Not long after, he did some light stretches and footwork training. He didn't realise that he was covered in sweat from the dream. Toweling himself, he got a change of clothes and began to change.

Still shirtless, he heard a yawn. It seems Lilly was awake. Shit! he hurriedly put on his shirt, covering up the scars over his body. Still in the middle of buttoning up, he heard her scream, before falling. Finishing putting on the shirt, he heard her re-introduce herself. "What we haven't done is introduce ourselves. We've met last night, regardless. The name's Hax." He looked at the girl, awkwardly smiling and holding her hand out. Grabbing the hand, he lifted her up with one hand. "You were asleep on the roof, so I brought you to my room. Anyway, you should get ready for your classes." As he spoke, he indicated to the door. He wanted to not bring up his scars, he wanted no word of it to come out. Wanting everything brushed off, hoping she did not see them at all.
