Is my CS approved?
When she was disowned and left home in her teen years, she did apply for the military academy at the capital. She would received leadership training, training in weaponry, and mock battles until she graduated at the age of 23. So that would mean she was an officer for 2 years and in those two years, she had some battles under her belt.

This is my final submission for Amy Lockwood.

Err...website went weird on me.
Up until the King's festival, was there any instances of war or battles? I would like to give Amelia real combat experience if so. Otherwise, I suppose she would be going on patrols in times of peace.

Newbie here, don't be too harsh!

Nah, bring on the heat!
Blood splattered upon the ground and the monstrous roar of the blood golem was not far behind. Anaris struggled to keep himself balanced. He had miscalculated gravely; the antidote that he had taken was not strong enough to rid himself of the toxins the blood golem had injected into him. With each beat of his heart, Anaris felt his hands and knees getting weaker, his vision clouded by a red misty haze.

"Ugh!" He fell on his knees, vomiting. The thunderous steps of the monster came closer. Using every once of energy to keep his head up, Anaris could see only the blood golem some seventy feet away. It was sniffing the air.

You are a hunter?

"Oh damn, I'm becoming delirious..."

This was it. He was hearing voices now. The toxins were beginning to affect his brain. Anaris looked for his revolver. He weakly wrapped his fingers around the grip.

The golem caught a whiff of Anaris' scent and triumphantly ran at his direction, its hands in the air, ready to smash him like the ant he was

Killing ourselves are we? Well, I won't fault you for that. Much better than being tortured. But are you sure you want to do that? It's quite the coward's way out.

"Shut up, I'm taking this thing down with me at least. I'm hearing things. Damn, I'm actually hearing things? Is this my imagination? Move! Move!"

No, it is not. The voice in your head is mine. I do like your...tenacity and resourcefulness. Say, why don't we make a deal?

"Who are you?"

That's hardly the time to be asking that. We can exchange formalities later. If you want to live, all I need is for you to provide a place for me to live. How's that sound?

The golem was closing in quickly and Anaris' vision was starting to black out.

"...Curses, I won't even be able to lift my gun or see my own death. Ok voice in my head, I'm pretty sure you aren't real but I'll agree to this deal. I'll provide you housing in exchange for saving me."

[Anaris' eyes turns cloudy]

As you command, master

["x"]=Anaris speaking to Jakai in his head

Ah, rewatching a memory of our first meeting aren't you? How nostalgic. This will be a year now? Hmm...

["There is no privacy when you are bind to a ghost. How many times I told you to not peek?"]

Apologies. It's just that things inevitably leak out and having nothing else to do, I look.

["Right. Since it's our first anniversary tomorrow, why don't you tell me what you want?"]

...

["Never mind, tell me when you are ready. If you would have wanted to kill me you would have attempted it a long time ago."]

Anaris spotted a small little coffee and tea shop close by. A rumble came from his stomach.

["Well, I suppose a small snack wouldn't hurt. Don't come out. We don't need another accident"]

Anaris entered the shop.
My side character gets called out for OPness?

The wraith cannot physically manifest itself. It won't be throwing fireballs or screeches. As it is part of Anaris' soul it resides inside of him. Although it can leave Anaris and wander within 50 meters around him, it cannot interact with any objects in the physical world. In addition, it is vulnerable to magic at this state.

It is a glorified scout that provides boosts solely to Anaris. For now I think.

I mean the guy is slowly being drained away by the virtue of having his soul bind to one that is no longer of this world.
Name: Anaris Halford
Age: 34
Appearance: Despite his age, Anaris already has graying hair. At a height of five foot nine, he has a toned and fairly muscular build. He was born with scarlet eyes and his skin color is becoming more pale by the month.
Personality: RP developing. Was affable and boisterous but circumstances has dampened his mood.

Fortitude: A revolver, the magic within lost over time. It's sister Courage was lost when the younger brother vanished. It is a family heirloom given to Anaris by his grandfather. Anaris considers it to be a token of good luck.

"L.B": The wraith Jakai led Anaris to this weapon. It is a dull and worn sword with only the initials L.B etched on the hilt. However, when Jakai lends his power to Anaris, the sword takes on a spectral form, cutting through most things with ease.

Coffin Maker- A simple looking stake imbued with holy power. Anaris cannot wield it while he is in wraith form.

Abilities:
Wraith- Anaris assumes a spectral form granting him increased strength and reflexes. Depending on the amount of power, he may also turn invisible. Abuse of this power will shorten Anaris' already shortened lifespan.

I See You: Jakai moves invisible in a 50 meter radius around Anaris. Useful for detection and scouting. Any magical damage to the wraith will also physically damage Anaris.

Icy Veins: Requires physical contact with the living. Chills them to the very core. Not so effective against the undead and those with a rather fiery spirit.

Drain Touch: Requires Wraith. Attacks that cut and bleed opponents will sap life. Physically holding someone, their life can also be drained.

Traits:
Experienced: Anaris has hunted for nearly 14 years and can utilize close quarter combat and long range combat adeptly.
Possession: The presence of a wraith inside of Anaris grants him several wraithlike attributes. His resistance towards dark and cold type magic is increased. Pain threshold is also increased.
Scarlet eyes: Intimidation factor, glows in the dark, can see slightly better than the average human in the dark
Restless: Averages less than five hours of sleep a day on a good day.
Survivor: Being on the hunt means one sometimes have to live off the land for stretches of time and Anaris has done that many times over his career.

Backstory:
Anaris Halford came from a line of hunters famed for their scarlet eyes. Of his living relatives only his mother and two brothers are alive today. His mother retired from the work. His older brother is married and runs a bar. His younger brother went missing nearly five years ago on a hunt.

Anaris was nearly killed fighting a particularly powerful blood golem, one of many nefarious constructs on Darkova. As the blood golem prepared for the finishing blow, Anaris' desperation and will to live summoned forth a powerful wraith residing nearby. The wraith, calling himself Jakai, offered him a deal. To die ingloriously or share his mind and body with the wraith. Anaris readily agreed and with the wraith's powers, he killed the blood golem.

However, this came at a cost. Sharing his body with a spirit has slowly taken a toll on Anaris' physical body. He also could not rid himself of the wraith afterward for he had made an unbreakable pact in which only the wraith can break. In addition, any attempt to exorcise the wraith out of him would be lead to death as they are two souls in one body. In spite of this, nearly a year since possession, Anaris found it strange that he has yet to come to a inner struggle over his soul and body with Jakai. It appears Jakai has other plans.

One day, he read a letter from a man called Alister. It was a familiar yet distant name. Reading the letter's call to arms. Anaris took up his arms and left for the mansion.

*The wraith has kept to himself and hasn't divulge much information about itself although it has lent Anaris its aid and they have made small talk. It was bounded in the area where Anaris nearly fought but with a strong enough physical vessel, it could move away from the area. Wraiths feed on the energy of the living which mean Jakai is killing Anaris though the process can be expedited in as little as a minute if Jakai is very hungry.
