Cosen Greshh

The screaming fades like distant thunder. As my mind clears, I sink to the ground, feeling even more emotionally and physically drained than before. "I don't know... like a great disturbance in the Force." I look up at Jerus. "We need to get back to base. Now."

END OF SCENE
Cosen Greshh

A realization comes to me as I am about to climb into the speeder. My mind drifts back to Dxun, at the Tomb of Freedan Nadd where Gavin and I brought our father's body, along with his heirloom armor and lightsaber. "Jerus, what if..." My mind suddenly flairs with pain, and I have to brace myself against the side of the speeder. A male voice screams in my ears, and powerful emotions of rage and anguish ripple through the Force. "Ahhh!"

Jakito Twilight

I flinch, even as I hang limp from Jerus' shoulder. In my unconscious mind, I can see flashes of powerful negative emotion, manifesting into nightmares and horrific images of pain and suffering. Worst of all is the scream of pain and outrage, which seems to come from both far away and right up close.

I rub the back of my head. "It hurts, but I've been through worse. Remember when Sucal's assistant cut off the tip of my lekku?" I wince at the memory, both because it was upset me to remember and also because it hurt my head to think too hard. "I'm probably going to need a medical droid though. Just to be safe." I look towards where Stoneheart ran. "We failed, didn't we?"
Lord Stoneheart

I stop looting Draxxal and look up at Jerus. In my hand, I hold what looks like Draxxal’s security badge, and I slip it into a pouch on my belt. With a casual gesture, I slide Draxxal’s datapad across the ground towards Jerus. “Take it. Might be useful.” Rising to my feet, I make a running jump off of the platform and disappear into the night.

I sit next to Jakito, who has since passed out from his injuries. I, on the other hand, am making an active effort not to lose consciousness, out of fear of my possible concussion. “That wasn’t my father, Jerus... I thought it was, but I can sense it now. He’s different.”
Lord Stoneheart

I say nothing, as expected. Just stand there with my weapon in hand, my facial expression hidden behind a mask.

Draxxal

“Salazar?” I turn to look at the hulking metal man standing half in shadow. “Of course. That explains much.” I take a step towards him. “Out of respect for the Sith you once were, I offer you the same deal. Kill Jerus Je’and, and finish off those two over there, and I’ll lead you to Sucal. What do you say?”

Lord Stoneheart

My response comes in the form of a twitch of my left hand, and Draxxal’s head turns to face Jerus... but his body remains facing me. He drops in a pathetic heap, and I proceed to kneel down and begin searching his dead body.
Draxxal

“I seem to be in the same situation. Aid me in killing Stoneheart, to our mutual benefit, then we can come to an arrangement. I can get you much more than a pardon. I could get you anything you ask for. Maybe I could even help you get into the Senate District undetected.”
Draxxal

I block both blades with my tech staff, holding them in a difficult lock. Glancing towards Jakito and Cosen, I smile. “Looks like it’s just you and me now, Je’and.”

Lord Stoneheart

“Wrong.” I say in a deep mechanical voice. My lightsaber ignites, lighting up my shadowy hiding spot with red.

Draxxal

My attention divided, I push away from Jerus and get a little distance. The three of us face each other in a Rodian Standoff. “Well well. You know what they say about the enemy of my enemy. I am willing to cut a deal with whichever one of you helps me kill the other.
Draxxal

The blow knocks me back and forces the air from my lungs, but I allow myself to roll with the momentum and come up to a knee a few feet away. With a bit of distance, I reach towards the broken window from which I came and levitate the shards of broken glass. I then direct them towards Jerus like daggers.

Cosen Greshh

I continue to try to attack Stoneheart, but all of my blows of either easily avoided or blocked. It didn’t help that I was still extremely dizzy. I may have even had a concussion. Still, I fought on, despite Jakito’s protests. “Face me!”

Lord Stoneheart

With irritated grunt, I pivot and catch Cosen’s weapon arm, twisting to force her to drop her lightsaber. Deciding enough was enough, I lift my own lightsaber over my head and prepare to bring it down upon her.

Jakito Twilight

“Nooo!” I throw myself into Stoneheart, causing us both to stagger off balance. He releases Cosen, but as he falls, he turns his body and hacks at me with his blade. As I stumble after him, I try to bring my blades up to parry, but I’m too slow, and I feel a deep burning run across my body. As I hit the ground, one of my lightsabers, along with my right arm above the elbow, goes flying away. There is also now a glowing red line tracing across my chest to my collarbone. “Oh sh... shit.” I try to prop myself up on my good arm and look around for Stoneheart, but he is nowhere in sight. “Where the...?!”
Draxxal

I dodge back, bringing the other side of my blade up to deflect Jerus’ strike. I then spin the blade around and jab it into Jerus’ midsection. The armor would absorb most of the blow, but hopefully it would at least stagger him a bit.

Cosen Greshh

I struggle to my feet, reactivating my lightsaber. On wobbly feet, I come at Stoneheart’s flank and strike at his shoulder. The blow glances off his armor, and he turns to look at me. I stare back at that emotionless mask. “What are you?”

Jakito Twilight

“No! Cosen, stay back!” I unleash a renewed flurry of strikes, forcing Stoneheart’s attention back on me. I was having a hard time myself, but I’d rather be the target than her.
Draxxal

As I am suddenly yanked back, I fall into a roll that brings me to my feet. Facing Jerus, I pull my techblade and prepare to fight. "I'd say letting you four kill each other is justice enough, but if I have to get my own hands dirty." I dash at Jerus, swinging my blade in a deadly arc.

Jakito Twilight

I roll away from Stoneheart, trying to get a few seconds break from his onslaught. "Come on. Draxxal is right there! Why don't you turn around and attack him instead?" I duck a slash. "I'm not your enemy, stupid! Why can't you..." I jump back as Stoneheart gives another slash, followed by a kick that nearly catches me in the ribs.

Cosen Greshh

I try to blink away the darkness spreading over my vision. Jakito was fighting my... Stoneheart, and Jerus was fighting Draxxal, and I was on the ground. So much for being useful to the team.
