So, there's this rabbit outside my house, and I'm not sure what to do with it. It sits there sometimes, eating grass and staring into space. It isn't mine, though, so it runs off when we approach.

Alright, let's see what I can do with this...
Isaac walked back onto the beach, parasol on his shoulder, coming back to a scene so far removed from a moment ago. The fire had grown to a good size but it probably wouldn't be safe to be in the forest for too long... There was a pirate ship, a kraken and some other crazy stuff.
Isaac went back to his beach blanket and planted the parasol in the ground, then sat down with a sigh.
"Good enough." He said.
He had reason enough to believe that this was all a dream, and all he had to do was wait for it to end.

Loki sat back, confused, as things quickly devolved into chaos. The Kraken was fighting the ghost pirate ship when something smashed into it. There were things flying everywhere and volleyball was forgotten in the ensuing chaos.
"Um..." Loki said. "Volleyball?"

Okay, another question, is it like an industrial era setting, or what? I guess I want to know what the world looks like. Is it kinda like the industrial era, or like what?

Alright, I'm pretty interested in where this is going, but there's a whooooole lot of stuff. Tbh, I'm more than a little lost, but I kind of get the gist of it. I might make a character or 2, I might contribute to world building, who knows. Got some questions, though.
So, first up, just how much can magic splash?
This is cause I got a sweet idea for an assassin, but they need to splash Ignis, Motus and possibly permutatio (maybe Tenebris). I'll pm you the details if you want to know what I have in mind.
Secondly, how... liberal can the magic be?
Alright, this one needs slightly more detail. My other character idea is a pirate who has magic which gains more power the more money he has.
And thirdly, what's the overarching plot going to be?
The world's really big already so I have no idea where to start, or where it's going to start, or what's going to go down potentially.

Well, including your character, there are 3 characters who are both older and shorter than mine, which is slightly weird
Why is everyone so short, anyway? Is there something about being short or something?
