Bio

Hi all! It's Ana back from the void. I had some pretty intense months IRL, but the witch is back and ready to brew up a wonderful little story haha~ Here are my terms for OnexOne, dearlings~ Look it over and let's see if our tastes can create a lovely RP feast for you and me!

Length:

Medium causal to low advanced. I am a bit carnivorous and need a good bit of meat in the posts I get from my partners. Don't let me go hungry, huhuhu~
Like wise, I shall try to feed you with, at the very least posts of two and a half paragraphs in length or more. It's all about give and take, right~?
Mature Topics:

I can do smut and cursing, but let's try to keep it classy? I have a little brother on this site and I'd be mortified for him to find anything that isn't at least trying to be creative in word choice. Plus there are so many ways to keep things interesting and detailed without being crass or vulgar.

And while we are on the topic, I also feel that my mature RPs should be done with 18 and older roleplayers. Same goes with characters: 18 and older, preferably in the 20s, or nothing more than love fluff. You get Angel Food cake, you hear? Only 18 and up get to have Devil's Food.

And Romance doesn't have to be sappy. It can be that they hate each other in the beginning, but have attraction. Maybe they stay enemies. Maybe they unite but still don't trust one another. And maybe she is a hellion and he is cool calm and collected. Or maybe they both have bad tempers. There are so many possibilities! Romance doesn't always mean sappy fluff, but can include dark and more twisted passion. Huhuhu~ That's why there is a 'mature 18+ rating' on the door. ;P
Historical Topics:

Many, if not all, of my RPs involve some sort of historical quality. While I am no history buff, I like things to be believable. Call me nit picky and strict, but I don't like my Vikings calling my Heroine "babe" or "chick". It's odd and jars me right out of the RP.
Have Courage, Dearlings:

I won't bite you. :P I know I may seem strict on what I want, but this is just so we can both get what we want out of RP. If it isn't working, let's not be afraid to say so. Nothing is more painful than trying to feign interest in something you just are not interested in. Let's agree to talk to each other. Compromise and communication can solve many things. I am always open to suggestions once we agree on something to start with. OOC chat threads were made just for these kinds of things. So let's be friendly, yea? :3
One Final Thing:

I am looking to play the female character. I am looking for MY female character to be paired with a male character. I only clarify this because there have been misunderstandings in the past and it got reeeeeal awkward.

And so there is no confusion, I feel I must state it plainly somewhere in my current request: I would like to be the main female character. Thank you very much~ ;3

*falls from the sky and lands on face* ..... *raises hand while still on ground* ....I'm back!
"Assalamu alaykum?" murmured Asha in a bit of confusion. What did that mean again? It was a kind of greeting... ah, yes, Arabic! Maybe... Wait, did she look arabic? She glanced down at herself and sort of spun like a dog trying to catch its tail. Oh... He had thought she was arabic because of her clothes... She turned three shade of sparkling pink, not that the others were notice much. She glanced up, her eyes locking with the rather seductive female in the room. Well, maybe everyone but her... She had sharp eyes.

Another male sort of trudged through the group of them in the kitchen. He was very...tall. Very tall. He stumbled over his words so much he almost sounded impaired... He wasn't a drinker was he? She hoped not. It was such a harmful thing to the body... Another glance made her assess the female decorated in tattoos. Her grin made her seem easy going. At most this person would probably be better to get along with. People with airy personalities usual were like that, hiding dangerous tempers. She did remind her of flowers though...

*BAMF* She jumped looked to see where the noise had come from. Oh... The mutant she had been staring at was gone. Oh... It was probably her fault. She'd probably made him uncomfortable. Maybe she'd apologize sometime... Well, if he'd even stick around to hear the apology. It was sort of disheartening... He was like a mirror image to her, imprinted with darkened skin and eyes, like she was with unending starlight. And it didn't seem that he liked her much.

Asha shrunk back towards the door. She felt a bit sheepish, as if she were somehow the cause of them leaving. It probably wasn't the case, but she hadn't seem to be making too many friends lately. The giant cat tried to speak to her again. Yeong Lee... Her eyes changed a in a myriad of colors as she looked at the hand...paw...hand, he had extended. She was not used to people actually wanting to touch her. In fact, all who had seen her after she had mutated wanted the exact opposite, recoiling from her in fear and disgust. Asha hesitated, but slowly lifted up her hand and took his. Those star soaked eyes looked up at the others and she withdrew her hand after a gentle shake.

"Erm...Asha...is my name," she murmured softly, "I hope I do not disrupt again... I hope to be friends with you all... Yeong Lee... perhaps tomorrow... Er, I am tired.... I will go to sleep now." Her sentences were short and almost breathless. It was a lot to take in. They were a hive of activity, buzzing here and there, talking, laughing, joking. It was not something she was very used to. Yes, she had once gone to school and had friends and been a busy body. But after being in something a kin to isolation, with only hatred flung her way... It seemed she was more damaged from her family's so called protection than from the mutation itself.

So much noise. It was dizzying. And it was hot. So stifling and suppressing... Being around all this, it made it harder to say wrapped in light blocking cloth. Especially when it was so thick. Unconsciously, she took off a glove and brushed a glowing hand over her eyes. The lights flickered before sending off a shot of arching starlight up at the ceiling. Asha jumped and stumbled back. No... dammit... she was trying to make friends, not freak people out. She shoved the glove back on, but didn't dare look up at the other mutant. Seemed that once she discovered a new branch to her 'gift' it would get harder and harder to suppress. The ceiling was cracked a bit and had a burn mark on it.

She mumbled an apology and went to the fridge and grabbed two water bottles. She then rummaged through the shelves until she found a large mixing bowl. Putting the bowl under her arm, she marched back to the door. Hesitating she turned briskly and gave them all a kind of curtsying bow, like she had been taught was polite for a mutant like her to do instead of troubling others.
"I apologize," she said softly, before turning to walk out the door. Once she had the door behind her she flushed with embarrassment and marched away from the group, every step leading away from them getting more hurried and quickening.

She had burnt their ceiling. How had she done that?! It was starlight, not fire! Well, it hadn't caught on fire so... Maybe it was like getting a sunburn. The sun was a giant star, right? But then why did the night sky make her feel more energized than the sun? Maybe... it was the multitude of stars. The Sun was only one star, but the night sky had so many. And they always imprinted her skin too. It was difficult for her to try to figure out. Nothing made much sense to her anymore.

Why had she gone in there anyway. Making people uncomfortable and giving their ceiling a starlight-burn and being mistaken for arabic and... She sighed. This was not going very well... But then again it was partially her fault. Well, mostly her fault. She was so...scared of everything. Of herself. Or hurting others. Of being rejected by the other...like with the 'bamf' guy... Asha let out a sigh and trudged back down to the lake. She need to calm down. To relax. So she could actually try to get to know the others without running away.

But first she needed to meditate. Well, that's what she called it anyway. Finding a nice spot on the side of the lake, she put down the mixing bowl and emptied the two water bottles into it. Ugh, these clothes... They made everything harder. She shed gloves and head coverings. If she could just calm down...maybe she'd be able to stick around to actually have conversations with the others. Her glowing and gleaming face was a mask of self disappointment and disgust as she stared at her reflection. No. She had to stop that. The others didn't hate themselves. They didn't hate how different they were. If she wanted to be like them, she'd have to start acting like them. No more Asha the Mouse. What had mama said? 'My starry-eyed daughter...' There had been no disgust in those words. Just love.

"Starry-Eyed," she murmured, looking down at the still water in the bowl. Her reflection stared back at her. And this time she didn't see a glowing evil creature. Just a girl imprinted with a galaxy's worth of stars. And it was...sort of...beautiful... The naked human eye could never see all of the stars and colors in the night sky. But all of it was soaked into her every cell, bursting out of her, raging against the suppression she always had it under. Maybe suppressing it wasn't as good as she always thought it had been. Maybe it only made her worse. More unstable. She had shot a starlight stream of colors at the ceiling just trying the wipe off her brow...

And Starry-Eyed could make friends. She hadn't always been so meek and cowardly. If Asha couldn't, Starry-Eyed could. It was why she had been sent here anyway. Her hair floated up around her head in a rainbow-like halo of glittering stars. Staring down at the still water like it was a mirror, she looked past herself and at the sky reflected in the water. So she must be like this. Reflecting the stars, magnifying them, streaming them through her every cell... It...might not be so bad... She might not be so bad. Putting a hand to her cheek, the girl in that reflecting water smiled... And the halo of colors around her sparked and swirled.
Oh well if you guys are busy with exams and the like don't worry yourselves too much. Just focus on your school work.

But to those ready for battle .... *eyes flaming* Bring it!
Dawnfire tried to support Viran. She was concerned that he might need more than just one rest to fully recover. It would not be good for him to loose consciousness again. She did know that when humans lost consciousness too much it damaged them internally. She was worried some such thing might happen to Viran, since she did not know much about his biology. Putting an arm around his torso, she looked straight into the other tall creature's eyes, examining him.

"Viran..." her accent rolled his name on her tongue, as she looked at him with a tinge of sorrow, "The elder... he has passed. The one who attacked before is fled. The elder- no, your grandfather, wished for me to tell you..." She sighed, her deep red locks flaming at the edges as she got a bit upset. If only she had- No, there was no time for regrets. Only action.

"I apologize, friend," she gave him a sad smile, "I must tell you all so that you may know all... I was not able to avenge your kin. Not yet, anyway. I promise he will pay for it though." Her green eyes flashed and the green energy leaked down her face in what looked like tears. "I will repeat what the grand elder told me:

'Viran holds the key to peace between what remains of our people and the rest of Earth. More are coming. They must make a choice. Viran was engineered to save their race. Viran's mother... Viran can bring peace. He must know his heritage. Let him know...that his Grandfather will always be proud of him for what he has done.'"

She bowed her head slightly, still holding him up, in what looked like a kind of formal salute. Looking back up at Viran she gave him a soft smile. "There is not much time for grief, friend," her voice was soft, almost like a purr from a large feline, "The others are in need of our strength. Though... I think it best for you to rest easy... The others will require my strength to aid them. If you need to travel anywhere, my flight is at your command, but Viran... You must rest. You have been dealt many a blow and I'd think it best... I'd think it best that you do not fight so soon."
So the Boss hasn't gotten back to me... Maybe let's give him this weekend and then I'll detach my character from Emma's lord to interact with the others.
Cool I'll make an OC soon then
Well, I don't want this RP to die. I'll PM the boss. Maybe we should ask for a co-GM who can run along the plot when GM can not.
I'll take barbecue...
