Current Just finished watching the Le Mans 24 Hours race. I watched 18 of the 24 hours and only slept 6 hours last night. It was shocking what happened to Toyota at the end. So happy that Porsche won...again.

As he was banging on the door hoping for someone to answer Chris made a few steps back as he heard someone unlocking the door. Then as the door opened Chris was greeted by a huge guy who pointed a gun at him. He raised his arms. "Easy there big guy. Why don't you put that gun away okay? You're a little too excited." He said but there was no reasoning with this guy. Chris started thinking of various scenarios of how to deal with him before he actually shoots the gun. Then the guy calmed down as the apparent leader of this group showed up. It was a young woman by the name of Nikki. She took him for a tour of the place and as she was doing that she also layed down the law on him, telling him what he should and should not do, also spicing up her speech with some threats here and there. Chris payed attention to what she said but at the same time he also surveyed the place carefully. Then she left him on the 2nd floor as she left.

Chris turned around and headed for the stairs as he bypassed a room with a blonde guy guarding it. The two eyeballed each other for a moment as Chris passed him and headed for the stairs as he started climbing down. Once he was on the 1st floor again Chris headed to the room that Nikki gave him and opened the door as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him. He looked around and took off his backpack, putting it against the desk. The place looked like a counseling office. This was probably where troubled students came to release the pressure, he thought to himself as he took off his leather jacket, putting it on the desk followed by his revolver, together with it's holster, putting them on the desk as well. He decided to keep the knife as he layed down on the couch, and closed his eyes, hoping to get some shuteye.

Day 6 flashback
4:18 PM

"Remind me again what the hell are we doing in a Walmart store?" Asked Joe while looking at his bigger brother. Chris looked at him in return but with a funny face. "We need supplies remember? And where can you find everything you want in one place? In a Walmart of course. Besides...we couldn't stay in that bank anymore. There was no water, no electricity, no nothing." He responded. "I understand that but this is not a good idea. This place should be stuffed with walkers. We can't..." Said Joe but he didn't get to finish his sentence as Chris covered his mouth with his right hand as they both leaned down. Walkers could be heard moaning from the other side of the shelf. "Alright maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Let's settle for what we have so far and leave." Whispered Chris as Joe smacked him on his right elbow. "If we die here it's all your fault." Whispered Joe, visibly concerned.

As the two were crawling to what they believed was the exit, more and more walkers could be heard moaning around everywhere. "God, we are so fucked!" Whispered Joe. Then all of a sudden the sounds stopped as Chris and Joe rised up on their feet again. "Alright, I think we're safe now." Said Chris grabbing his little brother by the elbows. "No were not!" Said Joe as he pointed to a really fat walker that appeared just in front of them at the end of the aisle. "Run!" Said Chris as they turned around and started running in the opposite direction. The sound of their running combined with the sound of the cart was attracting the attention of the walkers which started following them and piling up in a really large group. As they finally reached the exit, Chris and Joe both got outside and started running to the parking lot where Chris's Dodge Ram was parked. As they reached the truck they started to quickly throw the supplies they managed to get in the bed of the truck.

As the walkers got more and more closer, Chris abandoned the whole thing, getting inside and starting the truck. "Come on man, leave them!" Shouted Chris to his little brother as he peeked his head out through the lowered window. "Just a few more seconds." Said Joe, continuing to throw the supplies in the bed. "We don't have a few more seconds." Said Chris upset as he pulled out his revolver and started shooting at the walker mini-horde, which followed them from inside the Walmart. After the 3rd shot he stopped firing as Joe finished loading and ran to the passenger side door, opening it. But after putting one leg inside, a walker showed up from behind the bushes and grabbed Joe by his elbow, biting his arm. "NOOOO!" Shouted Chris as he got out of the truck and pulled out his knife, plunging it in the walker's head, killing it.

Chris grabbed Joe and attempted to raise him up and put him in the truck. "It's no use. Leave me!" Said Joe who seemed at peace with his fate. "No, you're the only family I have left. I'm not gonna lose you too." Said Chris desperate to put his little brother in the truck faster as the walkers were getting closer and closer. "No, he bit me. I'll become one of them soon enough. Go, save yourself. I'll distract their attention." Said Joe as he pulled himself away from Chris's grasp and with his shotgun in hand he runs away from the truck and bypasses the walkers, stopping at the Walmart entrance as he pointed his shotgun at the walkers and starts shooting at them. "JOOOOE! What the fuck are you doing?" Said Chris dropping his knife and putting his hands on his head with tears coming down his face. "GO! Before i'm out of shells." Shouted Joe as most of the walkers started heading towards him now.

Chris grabbed his knife from the ground, sliding it back in it's sheath and ran back inside the truck as he started the engine and with a heavy heart drove off. Meanwhile Joe was down to his last shell as he pulled it out of his pocket, slided it inside the shotgun and racked the pump as he stopped moving around. "You ain't gonna get me suckers!" He said as he put the end of the shotgun's barrel in his mouth and pulled the trigger, blowing his brains out. In the meantime Chris's tears became more and more abundant and his eyes turning red as he was driving further and further away from the Walmart store. He heard the shooting stop and realised that it was over. Either his little brother became food for the walkers or he killed himself to prevent becoming one himself. Either way it didn't matter anymore. "FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!" Shouted Chris as he repeatedly punched the steering wheel.

Day 11
8:55 AM

"NOOOOOO!" Chris shouted as he woke up from his sleep. And started to look around, not knowing what's going on. He was in his room in the high school. He tried to get some sleep but didn't succeed. He had the same nightmare again. It was the 3rd time already. This was becoming a real problem for him. He got off from the lying position as he was now with his ass on the couch, wiping off the sweat that formed on his forehead. "Shit! Can't even get some damn sleep anymore!"

@Wick
Okie dokie! I just got to work now but once I am home i'll post Chris's reaction to Nikki and get him settled in. I'll also have to come up with a good reason to get upstairs without freaking everyone that lives there out.
Cool you can double post if you want to and do it now if you like.

@LPFan

I just did. Now the ball is in your court!

Present day

Chris was in a store, sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall with his left arm on his raised left knee. On his right, next to him there was his Ruger revolver and in his left hand he had his lighter, which he was playing with, opening it, staring into the fire deeply then closing it and doing the same thing all over again. He thought about everything that happened in that day and these eleven that followed. He lost everything in a flash and all of his plans went down the drain. He lost his entire crew to those monsters including his little brother, Joe, who died 5 days ago after he sacrificed himself to save Chris. Now he was alone, with nothing but his pathetic life which barely meant anything anymore.

Chris put the lighter back in the pocket and grabbed his revolver sitting next to him as he opened the cylinder only to reveal an empty gun. He reached out to all his pockets and found six remaining bullets in a pocket of his leather jacket. The rest were probably in the backpack. Chris loaded all the bullets in the revolver and cocked the hammer as he pressed the end of the barrel against the right side of his head and closed his eyes, ready to end it all right there. As he was struggling to pull the trigger, tears started flowing down from his closed eyes. After sitting in this state for about 30 seconds, Chris eventually realised that his little brother's sacrifice would be in vain if he would end his life now.

He eventually gave up on the idea as he slowly pulled the revolver away from his head, however as he was doing that he accidentally pulled the trigger, releasing a round which went less then half an inch away from his forehead, stopping in a wall. Shocked and breathing fast, Chris put back the revolver in it's leather holster and quickly rised up from the floor, on his feet as he started looking around for his stuff. He went to the counter and picked up his backpack from it. With the backpack in hand he went to one of the barred windows as he looked outside. There weren't many walkers outside. Chris was lucky to be in an area that wasn't heavily populated like the downtown. Besides that, the walkers weren't as fast and as deadly as they were before and they also looked more death-like which was a clear sign that as time was passing they were decaying.

Chris opened the door to the store silently and opened the door to his truck which was right next to the store entrance. He threw the backpack on the passenger seat and got inside, closing the door silently. He reached out for his car keys as he pulled them out of a pocket. He grabbed the ignition key and plunged it into the respective hole but didn't start the car just yet as he took a couple of moments to think. He wanted to get out of the city badly but the streets had to be clustered with cars and with a truck like his, there were small chances of getting out of the city with the truck in one piece. He needed something smaller for that but at the same time Chris loved this truck and didn't want to part ways with it at all. The freeways were definetly out of the question, as you didn't had room to throw a needle in there.

His only chance, at least for the moment, was to mix in with another group of survivors. Chris was certain that there were still survivors in this city. And survivors would normally seek shelter in relatively safe places like police stations, hospitals or schools. After twisting the ignition key and starting the engine, Chris attracted the attention of the walkers nearby. Realising that, he quickly drove away from the scene. At least this street wasn't clustered with cars yet. He decided to follow it, hoping it would lead him to something, anything. Then, as he was driving, at low speed and carefully, Chris spots what looked like a high school, There were a couple of walkers around but mostly dead bodies, a lot of dead bodies, some of them even looked like normal people that have been killed.

Chris stops in front of the gate as he gets out and looks around. He wanted to check out this place first before anything. Looking at the gate, he sees that it was more closed rather then locked up so he gets out of the truck, opens it, gets back in the truck and drives inside, stopping to get outside and close the gate. After that he got back in the truck again and drove to the parking lot, stopping there. After getting out Chris sees that there are other vehicles there. A clear sign that the place was populated. However as he headed to the entrance Chris saw the strung dead guy and momentarily stopped in his tracks. "Fuck!" He said while he looked at the strung dead guy for about a minute but deciding to try his luck anyway. Once at the door, Chris raises his fist and starts punching in the locked door. "HELLO? IS ANYONE THERE? OPEN UP PLEASE!" He shouted, hoping someone will hear him.

In his pockets he has an opened pack of cigarettes and a custom zippo lighter.

History:Chris was born in Anaheim in a family with 3 children, all of them boys out of which Chris was the middle aged one. As a 5 year old he got bit by a dog once which resulted in him developing a phobia for them. When he was 6 years old his parents moved to Los Angeles in hopes of a better life. Not long after that though, his mother and older brother died after a drunk driver ran them both over. His mother who took most of the hit died instantly while his older brother died at the hospital while the doctors were resuscitating him. That particular event had a serious impact on Chris who became more introverted and more rebellious towards his father, but especially more protective of his younger brother who seemed to suffer the most out of the whole thing.

Chris's first run in the law was the age of 24, when he used his father's old Charger to participate in illegal street races. He was caught during his 3rd participation. He was charged with exhibittion of speed but since it was his first offense he got away easy with just a fine, 6 months of probation and the car impounded. Of course his father didn't took too kindly to having his car impounded because of his son and after a very heated argument, Chris packed his stuff and left the house, moving in with his girlfriend. Around the same time he was approached by a russian man, owner of a bar, by the name of Nikolai. He said he saw Chris race and offered him a position as getaway driver on a crew of thieves he was leading. Chris accepted but also told him he was on probation for 6 months and didn't want to do anything before those 6 months ended.

Nikolai hired Chris at his bar as a bartender and after those 6 months of probation ended, Chris finally assumed his duties as getaway driver, pulling his crew safe out of many heists. They mostly concentrated on Beverly Hills, where a lot of rich and famous people lived, sometimes they also robbed jewelry stores or other places containing valuable things. This went on for many years and the cops never managed to capture them. At the age of 29 he caught his girlfriend with someone else. Chris snapped at that site and unleashed all his fury at the guy, beating him up to the point where he could barely get up on his feet. For that he was charged with battery and spent 6 months in jail. After getting out he broke up with his girlfriend, despite her begging for forgiveness, and took all of his things from her place, moving into an apartment he rented. He also resumed his job at the bar as well his postion as getaway driver in the crew.

Two years later, Chris accidentally discovered his boss, Nikolai, talking on the phone with someone else, a woman by the voice. Nikolai was telling her that his business in L.A. was almost done and that after the last heist he would betray the crew, take all their money and then they would leave together for the Carribean. This news enraged Chris who comfronted his boss about it. They started fighting and in the midst of all that commotion Chris grabbed a gun from Nikolai's desk and shot him dead. Surprisingly Chris didn't end up in jail for murder as he told the cops it was self defense and sweet talked them into believing his side of the story, especially since the cops had a tag on Nikolai for a long time now and were very suspicious of him. Much to everyone's shock, Chris also passed the lie detector test. After that event Chris took over the bar and leadership of the crew.
Okay so my return post is basically a blast from the past. From now forward i'll return to present day.

Day 1
15 minutes before the outbreak

A black Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 truck was sitting parked outside of a bank. There were five people inside, preparing themselves for a heist at the bank. Chris was sitting on the passenger seat, with his head and his right hand sticking out through the window. He was looking into the side view mirror as he took another smoke from the cigarette he had in his hand then quickly blew out the smoke. "Look at them, swarming around like bees in a hive, or ants in an anthill." He said looking at all the people around him and in the cars from the street. "Going through their boring and monotonous lives each and every day. Home and work, work and home." He continued as he smiled and took another smoke. "I bet most of them have a boring spouse back home and some really annoying kids. They probably don't even remember when's the last time they had some fun." He said as he chuckled, threw away the cigarette stub and raised the window.

Chris's younger brother, Joe, who was also the getaway driver looks at him. "Bro, it's time." He said with a serious tone. Chris looks at him then at his watch and confirms. "Alright you guys, let's sincronize our watches." He said as everyone did what he said. "Now we'll go through the plan one more time. Joe, you stay outside with the truck and no matter what happends always keep the engine running. You three are coming with me inside. And remember, never use your real names. I'm Eagle 1, Joe here is Eagle 2, you're Eagle 3, you're Eagle 4 and you are 5. Joe, after we get the money you drive us back to the safe house. There we'll split the money and dissapear from this country. Alright? Now cover your heads and let's move." Said Chris as he wrapped his hair in a bun and covered his head with a ski mask. After the others did the same, everybody except Joe get out of the truck and run inside the bank.

Once inside the bank one of the men closed the door and they all drew out their guns. "ALRIGHT EVERYBODY GET ON THE GROUND, ON THE GROUND NOW, ON YOUR KNEES AND WITH YOUR HANDS ON THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD." Shouted Chris as he pointed his Ruger GP-100 revolver at everyone. The few guards were taken by surprise and didn't had time to react. The peace and quiet from the bank quickly turned into chaos as people started screaming in terror and doing exactly what Chris said. "Okay, I want the guards to take off any weapons they might have and throw them away." Said Chris as the guards complied. "I also want all the employees to get away from the desks and come here and sit with the customers." He continued as he lowered his revolver and went to one of his men. "Eagle 4, I want you to go to the security room and turn off all the surveillance cameras. After you've done that destroy all the tapes. And if you happen to see any guards in there kill them. They'll probably try to stop you anyway." Said Chris as his man complied and ran too the security room.

Silence occured as Chris and his other two men were waiting for the camreras to be turned off. The only thing that could be heard was the crying of some women. Then the sound of two gunshots broke the silence. Chris grabbed his radio. "Eagle 4 this is Eagle 1 can you hear me? Eagle 4 this is Eagle 1 CAN YOU HEAR ME!" Asked Chris through the radio but wit no answer. "What's the matter? Problems in paradise?" Asked one of the guards boldly! Angered Chris pointed his revolver towards him and shot him in his left leg as the man collapsed on the ground screaming in pain. "Anybody else got any smart things to say?" Asked Chris pointing his revolver upward as silence combined with crying once again occured. "Umm, sorry about the delay Eagle 1. There was a guard here and I had to kill him. The cameras are off. We should be safe now. I'll proceed to destryoing the tapes." "Good job Eagle 4." Responded Chris as he put his radio away and took off his ski mask with the other two men doing the same.

"Now ladies and gentlemen, here's the deal. We are here to take all your hard earned money. And there's nothing any of you can do about it. Now who is gonna be kind enough to tell me where is the manager so he can give me access to the vault?" Chris's request was followed by utter silence. "Alright! We'll do this differently then." He said as he grabbed the guard he wounded from the ground and dragged him towards him. "We're gonna play a little game called russian roulette." He said as he emptied his revolver. "And it goes like this. You take one round, you put it in the cylinder, you spin the cylinder really fast, you close the cylinder and in the end you cock the hammer and press the barrel against your head. Well in this case your head not mine." Said Chris as he did all those things and pressed the trigger which resulted in a click. "Congratulations, you survived round one. Now round two is the same except you add a 2nd round in the cylinder." Said Chris as he added the 2nd round and as he was spinning the cylinder an elderly man, in a suit rised up on his feet.

"Enough of this. You want the money? Just take it and leave." He said with a sad and desperate look on his face. Chris smiled and grabbed the manager as they both headed for the vault. Once there the manager opened it and Chris was left stunned by the site of all that money. "Thank you Mr. Manager. Now why don't you stay in that corner over there and don't be a hero. Said Chris as he took the radio in his hand. "Eagle 4 are you done yet?" "Yes Eagle 1, i'm heading to the main hall now." "No! Come to the vault now! Help me gather the money." Said Chris as he took off his backpack, opened it, took two duffle bags from it and started filling them with money. Soon afterwards Eagle 4 came and started putting money in his backpack too. Not long after that though Chris heard multiple gunshots coming from the main hall where his other two men remained. "Stay here!" He told Eagle 4 as he ran back to the main hall only to stumble upon a war scene with his two men shooting at the people from the bank who looked like they weren't human anymore.

Chris grabbed his revolver and loaded the rounds that he took out for the russian roulette game and started firing at the undead humans too. After consuming all the rounds, Chris took a speedloader and reloaded his revolver as he started hearing gunshots coming from the vault this time. He ran to the vault only to see his man on the ground bitten and nearly dead, next to the dead body of the manager who was all grey and pale. "He bit me!" Said Eagle 4 as he was choking in his own blood. In the meantime the gunshots down in the main hall stopped as Chris reluctantly shot his man in the head. In the video games he played, humans bit by zombies became one of them so he didn't want to take the risk. "I'm sorry Frankie. Rest well!" He said looking down at his dead man. He then ran to the main hall and saw two undead biting off one of his dead men. With the revolver in hand, Chris pointed it at the two undead, shooting both of them in the head. Then he heard his younger brother shouting in the radio. "CHRIS! CHRIIIIS!" Scared and shocked Chris grabbed the radio.

"Are you okay bro?" "What's going on Chris? The whole city turned into hell. Humans became zombies, started killing each other! I'm scared man!" "Just stay in the truck alright? And with the first chance you get you run to the bank."
