Bio

Hello there,

I've been forum RPing for about 13 years; got started on lavendereyes.net, which was a Forgotten Realms/Drizzt Do'Urden fansite, before moving to the old roleplayerguild.com! I've also dabbled in RPing in a few MMO's like Champions Online, SWTOR, and WoW but forum adventures are definitely my preference. I like just about any kind of RP in high-casual and advanced, based on whatever mood I'm feeling (typically high-fantasy, sci-fi, and/or certain fandoms). I love writing and do think of RPing as a way to develop my character and scene writing skills, which basically means I'm always looking for realistic and fluid ways for my characters to learn, grow, and develop over the course of an adventure. I don't ship my characters but do occasionally allow them to fall into a relationship, if they are naturally guided in that direction.

You can take a look at some of my saved characters here, if it interests you.

I also have a deviantart page, though I hardly ever update it.

Thanks for reading! I'm always up for a good chat.

He could use a form of self spirit-possession magic, maybe?

Like he casts a spell that harnesses a spirit to power up regular fighting attacks (adds an element damage type to his physical attack?), i guess it would be similar to Udyr's "stances" from the game League of Legends, if you're familar.
Im here!

Rose blinked in surprise as the little dark-haired girl described her missing friend and immediately began skipping away. "Taller than me!?" She mumbled to herself, for finding a girl over 6' was a rare thing indeed. Glancing to the blonde-haired girl, she offered a confused shrug. "I... probably shouldn't let her go alone. You could come along as well, maybe?" Without necessarily waiting for a reply, fearing the little girl would vanish if she let her get to far away, Rose offered the blonde-girl a friendly smile and a curt nod before turning away.

"Hey, wait up!" Her alto voice echoed after the child who moved quite fast for having such little legs. Rose's platemail clinked as she jogged up beside her, this time with a much calmer smile. "I'll help you look. More eyes means we can find her all the faster!" Though she'd read the Nexus city was perfectly safe for all players, she still felt incredibly uncomfortable thinking of this little girl wandering around the streets alone. "My name's Victoria..." She extended a gloved hand but paused for a moment, suddenly remembering that her own character name was likely still floating above her head. Did that mean introductions were unnecessary in a game like this? Should she even tell people her name in the real world? This appears to have become my 'real world'.. "Er... or, 'Rose', I guess."

Ares had best be careful. They've all got a pretty contagious kooty infection.
Whoo hoo!

Oblivion ahoy!
Ya, they're lame-o's.
Luckily I finally just joined a large gamer community so I could meet people online to play with.

More friends = more fun!

EDIT: which is why these other JERK-O-FACES in this RP need to hurry their bums back to Town!
Ya, it would obviously hit Rose harder because she's older than most of the other people here and also not a gamer and therefore the culture is completely foreign to her. I'm sure she'll fond herself similarly surprised at different points of this adventure. :3

I have beta tested just about every major MMO released in the past 10 years and I hardly ever stick with a single one because 0% of my friends are cool enough to play them, haha.
Too true. I'm guessing I'm quite a bit older, anyway, but i was definitely playing games around 4-5 years old! (I beat the original DOOM game when I was sixish). It is definitely true there are a lot more younger kids playing MMo's now... Lots of 'kid friendly' mmo's on the market. I personally would enjoy playing an mmo with my kid (if i had one).
I would be quite surprised if that was common... (Obviously not unheard of). Most sources say demographics for mmos are on a bell curve with the midline being around 25!

I would/will never ever ever allow my 6yr old child to play an MMO (alone), lol. XD

EDIT: Hmm, actually i can find some studies saying median age nowadays is closer to 18-20ish but my point still stands! :)
