Bio

Hello there,

I've been forum RPing for about 13 years; got started on lavendereyes.net, which was a Forgotten Realms/Drizzt Do'Urden fansite, before moving to the old roleplayerguild.com! I've also dabbled in RPing in a few MMO's like Champions Online, SWTOR, and WoW but forum adventures are definitely my preference. I like just about any kind of RP in high-casual and advanced, based on whatever mood I'm feeling (typically high-fantasy, sci-fi, and/or certain fandoms). I love writing and do think of RPing as a way to develop my character and scene writing skills, which basically means I'm always looking for realistic and fluid ways for my characters to learn, grow, and develop over the course of an adventure. I don't ship my characters but do occasionally allow them to fall into a relationship, if they are naturally guided in that direction.

You can take a look at some of my saved characters here, if it interests you.

I also have a deviantart page, though I hardly ever update it.

Thanks for reading! I'm always up for a good chat.

Sevrin silently nodded as Caroline explained the plan, accepting her logic, only to stifle a laugh when he watched walk headlong into Artemis. Keeping a reserved expression, he nodded politely as the S-class mage passed by him, his icy eyes watching him go casually to the bar. Though they had never spoken of it, Sevrin had learned Artemis had been involved those 8 years ago when the Mage Guilds banded together and finally stopped him. It had been the battle that claimed the lives of his parents in the collateral damage; the battle that had sent Sev on his course as a mage. He didn't see Artemis as a hero, nor blame him for the countless innocent deaths from that day, but he had a powerful urge to question the man about that evil being but could not bring himself to dig up the past.

He would get stronger first and then one day the two of them would talk.

Elbowing the still stunned Caroline in the side as he slipped passed her towards the door, he flashed her a smirk. "Next time try bumping into the thief? That'll make this job go a whole lot quicker."
Ya, those artifacts are essentially unstoppable (hence being artifacts)...

I'm not the GM or anything, but as a suggestion I would plot out a few actual 'spells' of varying levels to give your magic more of a progression and to establish clear limits on the ability.

Heh. Man, can't wait for the boss battle.

Agreed! Rose needs to get into a real fight!

Dragoon Fireeeeeee!!!!! Mwahahahahahaha!!!

EDIT: also, how often do we get new abilities? Is there a system or at our own discretion (one every few levels seems reasonable to me: maybe alternating between attacks and passives.)
"Thanks for the assist." Rinn nodded to the hooded figure who'd blocked the dremora blade with her arm as he pushed the daedra off his blade. Crowds of screaming villagers began rushing in all directions, some with demons in tow, and the entire coty became a war zone with fires sprouting up every other building. Amidst the chaos, several apparently combat-savy individuals appeared to make a stand, not succumbing to the fear and panic that was erupting in the streets and looking to him for leadership and information. It was not something he expected, but he'd been training his whole life for just such an emergency.

He only wished he'd been more prepared for the horror of it all.

"We need to clear this rabble from the street and get the people somewhere safe!" He shouted over the sounds of battle, hoping that they would heed his orders though they were certainly not guardsmen. It was practically the first rule of engagement when being caught in a surprise attack: form a defensible position. But the guard post was too small to house so many people and the castle was on the other side of the city. Where else could they hold out? "The chapel! On the other side of the market, we can barricade the side doors and make a kill point on the top of the steps!"

"Then we find out where in oblivion they're coming from..." He took no more than a few steps when a group of daedra suddenly came around the corner to block their path: three snarling scamps, a hulking frost atronach, and another armored dremora who appeared to be the leader, barking orders as they cut down any citizen caught before them. "First, we have to get through them..." Left hand bursting with flames, Rinn charged forward and launched a firebolt straight into the icy chest of the atronach.
Conflict is fun!

Rose don't know you, foo!
Maybe she can intervene if Prince and Max start to rumble and therefore find her in to Ares' cold black heart. XD

Aeternus || Nexus - Lantern Festival
Affected Characters: Mystic, Prince

Rose's heart melted watching little Mystic struggle with offering her the delicious treat. She was just about to accept the gift and offer to split between the three of them when a small notification suddenly appeared on her HUD. Level 2? How did that happen...? There were still a lot of things about this game she didn't understand. It appeared the level came along with a few coins, so with a quick flip she flipped one over to the stall keeper and was presented with a second bun.

"How about a trade then?" With a sly wink, Rose handed hers over and they made a trade. "Bon appetit!" Biting into the meal, she was stunned by the complexity of flavor. How was it that something virtual could make you feel more than the real thing? In a series of quick bites, the meal practically vanished into her tummy and she let out a satisfied sigh. Suddenly remembering the other two watching, her face flushed again. "Eh... Excuse me."

Glancing about, the festival had become a lot more crowded. A few booths down she saw a bit of commotion as a man started shopping at a stall keeper until someone intervened with a kick. She tilted her head inquisitively at the tall red-haired person staring down another, more colorful, man. Tall... Red-haired... They look a little like me? "Did your friend happen to be a... Cat person?" Rose's thin brow raised inquisitively as her gloved hand pointed in the pair's direction.
