To anyone who may have noticed, a manhole popped open in the middle of Konoha's streets. An invisible snake slithered down through the hole into the sewers of the village. Once Heihachi presented himself in the sewers, Seijuro would make visible again. He peered around curiously at the walls of the dank tunnel until his eyes found Heihachi. He stared at the old man's grisly physique and into his aging eyes. There was no beating around the bush anymore.

"Why I have brought you here... you are a well known rebel, Senju." Seijuro began. He started to pace back and forth from wall to wall of the tunnel, his eyes never leaving Heihachi. "Fool you once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you, Senju." Seijuro stopped and smirked for a moment before continuin to pace about. He turned away and gazed about the walls of the tunnel, alowing it to sink in that he could have double-crossed him not once but twice already. "But you trusted me yet again.. your curiosity is sparked. I'm done playing games and wasting your time, Kurage Sennin. I need a man of your qualifications to assist me with a project benefiting the both of us." Seijuro was carefully studying the Sage's reaction.

"The details I can provide as of now are simple. You do not enjoy the Imperial control over the five great nations. I am not fond of them either, thus the enemy of my enemy is my friend. That being said I want us to enter a mutually beneficial pact of secrecy and silence. While the Empire is keeping a close eye on the known rebels there are those such as myself that are working in the shadows to ensure the success of certain objectives and goals, the nature of which to be disclosed to you pending your response to my invitation... which I'm sure you've gathered by now, Heihachi.. I'm asking you to partner up with a snake." A snide smirk crept across his left cheek as his narrowed eyes looked Heihachi straight in the eyes. His hand gently glided out of his sleeve, hoping the Sage would accept his offer.

From what he had heard through the grapevine, Heihachi was truly still a marvel even in the waning moments of his life. He had also made a name for himself and had connections within the rebels. While not directly affiliated with the rebellion himself seeing as those involved didn't take kindly to snakes, Seijuro kept his agenda private and left his offer vague for obvious reasons. True Shinobi didn't go spilling the beans and laying all their cards on the table at once. There was certainly a reason for Seijuro's shady games for in a dog eat dog world precautions are necessary.

-EDIT- >"Hey guys remember to keep it low-profile.">Causes a building to collapse

Yeah well I didn't expect Syn to flood the building to the point that it bursts faster than the button on Oprah's pants after she eats a philly cheese steak. And as one would expect Seijuro wants no part in taking the rep for that one so he's going ghost.
The Jellyfish Sage was a formidable opponent. From their few short seconds of battle enough data was compiled on Heihachi. Seijuro accounted for the fact that Heihachi might take it a little over the top if he deemed Seijuro too hostile, which seemed to be the case. The water began to pull back toward a single side of the warehouse, reminiscent of the tide before a tsunami. There was one problem with Heihachi's attack... where was his target? Seijuro had no form after activating his Hiding in Camouflage technique which even erased his chakra presence, so what did the legendary Sage have to track Seijuro with?

As the tsunami crashed it would have no single point to converge on as there was no way of knowing where Seijuro was, and so the large wave would surge throughout the entire warehouse. Knowing this Seijuro used the time he was given as the giant tsunami formed to backflip onto the walls of the warehouse, his feet planted with chakra. The wave came down and the warehouse burst at the seams, sending streams of water throughout the southern end of Konoha. The walls fell to the ground, Seijuro making himself visible as he rode the top of the wave on his feet, landing outside of the warehouse.

He turned to look at Heihachi with a grin on his face. "Impressive. I needed to know you were still in fighting form before I spoke of my true intentions. But alas we have lost our privacy thanks to our engagement. Please, follow me once more. We have little time before tonight's events are to unfold as I'm sure you know of, rebel." Seijuro disappeared from sight again to remain hidden from the shinobi of Konoha. Knowledge of his existence was on a need to know basis and none of the commoners needed to know he was even alive. This time, however, Seijuro did not conceal his chakra as Heihachi needed a way to follow him.

Seijuro darted off through another alleyway to escape the fallout of their encounter.
We have the ending planned out already, don't worry. I'll resolve it later when I'm up.

Lyfe,Syn, just a reminder: No explosives or anything attracting a ton of attention to yourselves.

Hence the abandoned warehouse gig.
Seijuro's movements were fluid like water, and just as Heihachi's first surge of water spewed forth Seijuro darted to the right side of the water, as a mindful Sage Heihachi would feel the flow of his Ryoukei-Ryu guiding Seijuro's movements around his water technique, as if two streams of water were running side by side. Seijuro's dual threat of raw speed from his Shinsoku combined with the fluidity of his Ryoukei-Ryu decreased the distance hastily as he dragged his right blade through the water, splitting its flow around his body. As he ripped through the high-pressure water technique his face was painted with sheer determination and concentrated willpower. As one of the deadliest swordsman of his generation he only became so due to the intensity of his character and the passionate nature he holds for the way in which he lives his life. And it is this passionate determination which he brings about him to each and every encounter with another individual, and gauges their passion for their cause and the determination they carry to reach the goals in which they set for themselves. In short, Seijuro wanted to know if this old man's still fuckin' got it, or if the legends speak of a man whose flame has already been blown out.

In his left hand, his Ozorou was resealed into his wrist only to have one of his Akumu no Tachi replace it. His speed allowed him to close the distance before the full amount of water was expunged from Heihachi's Bakusui Shoha, greeting the Sage with a swift strike toward his torso from Seijuro's right with his shortsword, dragging the water with it to splash him in the face to create a diversion which would allow for him to come upward from the left with his longsword, aiming across Heihachi's body swiftly after the diversion with his shortsword. Neither of the attacks were made with true murderous intent, though his will backed each of his strikes. They were precise and thorough, and at the speed and power in which they were thrust, if Heihachi didnt react accordingly to both of them he'd be lucky if that old bag of bones of his made it to the hospital without bleeding out.

His body would then duck down, arms crossed with either sword on the opposite side of his body, he would kick forward with his Shinsoku, darting around Heihachi in concurrence with his short-longsword combo, appearing behind him. However, even if Heihachi were to look behind him he would not find Seijuro visually, activating his Meisagakure no Jutsu to conceal his presence. The snake eyed his prey from the shadow of his jutsu, analyzing his quick reaction skills and split-second decision making that the old man utilized upon realizing the ambush. It was quite admirable that he was able to perform a defensive technique in such a short window. Seijuro did however take note that the old man underestimated Seijuro's Shinsoku, the ebb and flow combined with the raw speed made him skilled at disrupting Jutsu before they can be cast by assaulting the enemy before they can even finish hand seals, a tactic employed by samurai from the Land of Iron that Seijuro had taught himself.
Heihachi followed as Seijuro expected, and in the moment it took Heihachi to enter Sage Mode Seijuro made a single one-handed seal and awaited the Sage's entry. He was either very foolish or very confident in himself. Once the old man locked eyes with Seijuro, his eyebrows narrowed and a sly smirk crept across his face. His eyes bounced up and down the Sage, and back to his eyes. The legends were true, he was a man built like a house from the ground up but had the elegance of water. The way he carried himself... yes, this reaffirmed Seijuro's choice to seek him out. However, he wasn't sold on the old man just yet...

CRACK! Seijuro disappeared from his spot in an instant leaving cracks in the ground in his wake, a white-cloaked blur rocketing at the Jellyfish Sage with murderous intent. The hand seal Seijuro used prior would cause Heihachi to react a fraction of a second later later to his movements, as the moment Heihachi walked into the warehouse his focus was on Seijuro, their eyes had met, allowing his Magen: Shiyoutenshindo to take effect. When paired with the speed of his Shinsoku it made it so only the Shinobi with true analytical skill and optimal reaction timing could dodge.

By the time Seijuro was upon the Sage his Ozorou no Tantou had been summoned to his hands, each of them coming across Seijuro's body in an X-shaped attac on Heihachi's torso. His eyes remained locked on Heihachi's, even in the midst of an attack he was gazing into the thoughts of his prey. But why was Seijuro doing this? Attacking a high-ranking rebel was serious and he was spelling out his own death if he was really about to cause a scene in the middle of Konoha even if it was in some abandoned warehouse. Yet Seijuro attacked without hesitation or explanation. It was all part of his plan, after all.

Theme - Till I Collapse

Name: Hozuki, Sangetsu
Nickname: Sano
Alias: "Kirigakure's Blood Moon"

Age: 57
Age Appearance: 32
Gender: Male

Village: Kirigakure
Birthplace: Kirigakure
Alignment: Rebels - Leader of the Kirigakure Rebels
Rank: ANBU Captain, S

Personality: Sangetsu, at first glance, does not live up to his reputation. In his old age he has simmered down from his sporadic and violent temperament. Formerly known for being one of the most brutal killers in all of Kirigakure, Sano is now a calm, collected man who would even go as far as to show an opponent mercy... so long as they give him what he wants. However should someone be foolish enough to stumble over onto his bad side, Sano can be one hell of a bastard at times. Deep down he is ruthless, willing to step on anyone and anything to achieve his goals.

The vicious man is not shy to comradery and embraces those with passionate hearts and the will to defy authority. Those who do not fit into the mold of the norm attract Sangetsu and interest him. Whether they become part of the pack or just another afternoon snack depends on their value to Sano and his mood at the time... His attitude is of a constant hunger for power and development. He is never strong enough, never fast enough, never good enough for himself. He can always be better than what he is now. Although in his old age he has come ot the realization he is on the waning end of his Shinobi career and will attempt to drain every last drop of youth his body can offer. He knows not a life without the thrill of battle, the hunt for prey or the rush of murder. Without it his existence is nothing but a trivial afterthought, a perpetual boredom devoid of meaning.

Just before the Imperials ran in and took over the joint, Sano was next in line to become Mizukage after the former elderly Mizukage was to retire or keel over any day. Sangetsu led the ANBU and the Hunter-nin in Kirigakure for over three decades. He had almost extinguished the fire of hatred in his heart but the Empress swooped in and with a big up-heaving gust of wind she reignited the hateful flames and caused them to spread like a brushfire. His contempt for the Empire and their Orwellian ways of dictating the land left a sour taste in Sano's mouth.

History: Sano was born during the times where Kirigakure was under the former title of Chigiri no Sato, the Hidden Village of the Bloody Mist. It was during these times where bloodshed was commonplace and danger lurked around every corner. It was every man, woman and child for themselves and there were only two kinds of people in the Land of Water: sharks and their prey. Sangetsu learned that lesson quickly and made his name as a shark even as a boy. His parents abandoned him early on and for quite some time he did not know their identities or his own and resented them as vile, selfish people for abandoning him.

He grew up a ruthless boy with no sense of mercy or morality. Everything was fair game, no tactic too dirty or too outlandish. Torture was a game and the battlefield was home. He knew not the concept of love, but desire made its way into his heart and latched on tight. Yet what he did know was passion; a passion for battle and blood and carnage. When he became a Shinobi and graduated the academy, he was top of his class in combat skill, and did not bother to complete any written portions of the exams. After completing several missions as a Genin with his comrades, the time came when a fellow Kirigakure Genin was held captive by the enemy who held valuable intel on Kirigakure. There was no hesitation in Sangetsu's mind, he impaled the enemy by going through his comrade, murdering him. His Jounin sensei at the time immediately recommended he enter the Chuunin exams that year.

During the Chuunin exams the higher ups of Kirigakure gave him the green light to 'have fun'. Sano took this to heart and his eyes lit up with a fierce hunger that had followed him since birth. When the exams rolled around Sano bullied one of the other students into stealing the answers to the test for him. He passed onto the next portion where they were thrown into the forest and pitted against each other. This... is where the unexpected occurred... You see, Sano had not yet learned the value of self control. Sano reached the middle of the forest with a plethora of bloodstained scrolls at his fingertips. A trail of bloody footsteps lay in his wake, bodies scattered throughout the forest. Sano himself was decorated with cuts and bruises, whether most of it was his own blood or the enemy's was unknown... or.. his comrades?

The Jounin asked how he had made it there in such short time all by himself.. with so many scrolls.. The Jounin counted the number of scrolls he had brought with him, as Sano was merely leaning against a wall, panting and dripping blood on the wall yet saying nothing. "That... that can't be... This is... all of them... they're all here..." The Jounin stuttered in disbelief as the rest of the Jounin checked the forest and found nothing but the bodies of enemy Genin.. and Sangetsu's allies as well. He showed no mercy to anyone, and on that night Kirigakure knew their demon was born. On this day that the Mizukage himself recognized Sangetsu's potential, his parents claimed him as their own, saying that he needed to be raised by the cold-blooded streets of Chigiri no Sato and survive on his own in order to truly be called a member of the Hozuki during these dark times. He was taught of his heritage as a Hozuki and of the origins of the Seven Swordsman, and on the day he proved himself as a member of the Chigiri no Sato regime, Samehada was passed down to him from his father.

He was recruited into the ANBU and trained as a Hunter-nin simultaneously. He quickly was tasked with leading missions and hunting down high profile targets all on his own. He became accustomed to it and enjoyed answering to the highest ranking shinobi in Kirigakure. Although it was nice getting some facetime with the higher ups, eventually he grew very tired of that and wanted to throw a revolt in order to oust the Mizukage and take the position for himself. He aspired to do all this at only age 17. The world had other plans entirely and the reign of the Bloody Mist subsided. The ways of the Blood Mist will never leave Sangetsu, they will be carried with him always. The village was no longer known for its ruthless ways and the village wanted to sweep the history of their village under the carpet, so to speak.

Kirigakure wasn't the only one with a Public Relations problem at the time. From aspiring young potential Mizukage to vile beast, the village turned on him. The third Mizukage who valued his bloodlust was removed from power after losing to the one who became the fourth Mizukage. Many others of the Chigiri no Sato were asked to step down as to display the new regime's contempt for that line of thinking. Sangetsu was lucky he wasn't hung for his reputation and the things he had done. He spent decades rebuilding his image with the village and those in power, but none respected him quite like the old regime did. He never had as much say in things as he used to, but he rose to the leader of the ANBU and was spoken of as the most skilled Hunter-nin of his generation.

For several decades Sangetsu has run the ANBU and waited patiently in line for a chance at the Mizukage title, yet the trail has gone cold for him. As the Fourth passed on the title to the Fifth, Sangetsu grew to realize that with his 'outdated' ideals he was never going to achieve his goal. Not too long ago the Fifth Mizukage was killed, rekindling a flame within Sano that hadn't danced so wildly since his days in the Bloody Mist. Now, he had no aspirations of Mizukage and focuses all his attention on leading the rebellion against the Empress.

Clan: Hozuki Clan

Weapons/Tools: Samehada with reduced potential to absorb chakra, that being only a fourth of the power the canon Samehada has, thus making the user susceptible to high-level Ninjutsu. It also cannot absorb ambient chakra and requires direct contact in order to absorb any chakra. Sangetsu also has bandages wrapped around his wrists with generic seals meant for summoning shuriken, kunai, ninja wire, explosive tags, flash bombs, smoke bombs, ink bombs (for underwater usage).

Chakra Nature: Suiton, Doton

Special Traits: Sangetsu appears much younger than he actually is due to his shark-like physique. He's renowned in Kirigakure as one of the most skilled Water users in the country in the sense that he is capable of performing high level water techniques with little to no water source with limited hand seals. Sangetsu is one of the most infamous Hunter-nin known for his ability to track and kill prey in a manner most brutal. His physical specimen is one to be awed at, his greatest attribute being his durable size and magnificent strength. His speed and agility are lackluster in his old age, but his iron endurance has followed him well into his elderly years. As a prerequisite for wielding Samehada, Sangetsu boasts a monstrous chakra capacity which his sentient friend has become quite accustomed to munching on over the years. While his resilience has withstood the test of time his stamina has not and while what doesn't mean he's out of shape, his age has become a hindrance in long-winded battles.
