Plot
Demetri Ambrosia was born the eldest son of King Viktor, who ruled the land of Elysia. However, his life as heir to the throne was not as one would expect. Viktor was a cruel and unfair man who kept his son under her thumb, controlling all aspects of his life. Demetri was not allowed anything he wanted, and if his father saw he admired something he made sure to destroy it. After enduring long years of both mental and physical abuse, Demetri became a hardened shell of a man whose only escape lied in the bloodshed found in battle. His military training was the one thing his father had not kept him from, and Demetri poured himself into the complex strategy of warfare, becoming a most fearsome warrior.
When his father passed away unexpectedly, Demetri was hesitant to take over his role as King. But he proved to excel in leading his nation, making some much needed improvements. Time passed and with it, the kingdom of Elysia expanded and conquered. Its military, now more powerful than any other, had earned a reputation for being ruthless, and Demetri had earned the nickname The Blood King.
Upon being summoned for a meeting with King Gerard, Demetri traveled to the neighboring Kingdom of Minerva. The meeting reveals that King Gerard wants to form an alliance with Elysia, and this would have been fine if Demetri had not sensed the fear in the other King’s request. He knew it was an alliance wanted only to ensure protection from Elysia’s ever growing army. Finding cowardice to be distasteful, he declined the offer and stormed out of King Gerard’s study, intending to leave. But he was stopped in his tracks by a most unearthly beauty. He saw something peculiar in her that had his curiosity burning, and he knew that he must have her. And as a man who had been denied everything in his earlier years, he now made it his mission to have whatever he desired.
King Gerard did everything he could to protect his three daughters; guarding them fiercely at every turn. For many years he had hidden them away each time a male guest entered the castle, wanting them to have the luxury of choosing their husbands themselves. He worried especially about his middle child, for she was the finest beauty in all the lands with a unique spirit to match. Countless suitors had requested to meet her due to the rumors of her appearance, and he had turned all of them away. So when Gerard found the Blood King’s gaze locked on her, he was crushed. He knew all of his years of fiercely protecting her were now wasted. King Demetri gave Gerard’s daughter a choice, marry him willingly and gain an alliance between the two kingdoms, or force him to declare war upon Minerva and destroy the land until nothing remained and he took her as his bride through force. Gerard knew his daughter would not allow her people to suffer when she could prevent it and he knew he also had to put the welfare of his people first even if it hurt him to do so. And so the princess of Minerva would become the wife of the Blood King.
Rules
- This roleplay can possibly have fantasy aspects included if you want, but it will definitely have drama, action, and romance. A little humor is always welcome as well. The plot is not set in stone and can be changed some to better suit your character. I always like surprises and twists so feel free to let me know your thoughts and ideas at any time.
- You will be playing the role of the female princess, and I will be playing the Blood King.
- In case you didn’t already realize it, this is an arranged marriage type of roleplay. The Blood King is a possessive, controlling, and damaged character, so if you are not into that kind of thing, then this roleplay is not for you. But do know that there will be no rape in the roleplay and that I do expect Demetri to change and grow as the roleplay moves along. I also don’t expect the female character to be weak and submissive either, unless that is what you want. She can be fiery and passionate, innocent and compassionate, a combination of both, or any other qualities you wish for her to have.
- You must be 18+ as this roleplay will have adult content.
- Write at least 3 paragraphs per post and try to post at least once a week. If you cannot for some reason, let me know and I will most likely be fine with it.
- If you want to or have to drop the roleplay for some reason send me a message. If you do, I will be fine with it and will not bother you about it. If you suddenly stop replying with no explanation then I will probably be irritated, but I will eventually get over it.
- I don’t do incest, pedophilia, necrophilia, beastiality or anything along those lines.
