Liebea's attacks were powerful. Magio shot some Light Spheres at her, but she hopped escaping his attacks. Lilly tried shooting some arrows at her, as Necrox's scarlet danmaku cornered Liebea. But it didn't matter, her power would save her. She called once again a tempest, forcing the Triplets on the ground once more...


Necrox: Damn, she's good!

Magio: At this rate, we'll never win her.

BGM: Persistent, Innocent Mind

Lilly too had her hopes down, but then she looked at Fael, Marie and Hugh's fight. After seeing how they were dealing with Azrael, something led her to try once more.


Lilly: Now, I'll make this be good. Let's see if her tempest can survive my arrows!

A big arrow was shot upwards, piercing the clouds. It splitted into little arrows that fought against the overwhelming rain. Liebea shielded herself with a boulder, but was hit by some arrows. Without giving her time to incantate again, Lilly shot another arrow that hit Liebea's sapphire. The jewel broke in tiny pieces, and Liebea finally lost the rest of control she had. With her hands holding her head, she screamed.


Liebea: Guh... AGH....... UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Liebea got into her Desperation Mode. A powerful gust blowed, pushing Magio, Necrox and Lilly away from her. The ground where they had foot started to float, as each of them were into a floating boulder.


Necrox: We better end this before Liebea destroys the grassland!

Magio: You're right. Lilly, continue with the Arrow Rain!

Lilly: OK!

Lilly kept shooting more arrows to the sky, as they fell on Liebea. The gust tried to blow them away, but they kept their progress to defeat Liebea.

Rosenkreuz appeared again. He looked at the test of Fael's team.

Rosenkreuz: Always so merciless and challenging... that is why I do like your tests, Rachel. Anyway, it is your turn now, my apreentice. Start.

Rosenkreuz snapped his fingers as Magio, Necrox and Lilly were sent to the other side of the grassland.

They started to walk back to were they began, but soon noticed a big amount of fairies and Eggmets.


Lilly: I'm starting to suppose that he switched us with Liebea. She must be at the start.

Necrox: Good point, Captain Obvious. He wanted to watch closely how we'll battle with her.

Magio: You two, stop fighting. We must give our all, like Fael and the others are doing. Now, let's go.

Platform to platform, they jumped destroying the enemies that stood in their front. The fairies and Eggmets battled back, but their little shots were inneficient. There were many enemies in number, but soon they were dwindling. As they passed the first section out of four, the second seemed to be a balance.


Necrox: Spikes... one touch and you're dead...

Lilly: Those are the most bugging, if you see. I guess that we'll deal with falling platforms from now on too...

Magio: Let's go or else all our efforts will be in vain.

Necrox: It doesn't really make sense saying a heroic phrase like that. We're only going against Liebea, so what's the point?

They continued to walk, jumping over the platforms. Lilly almost fell, but Necrox saved her before she would fall to a spike. They crossed the traps, leaving the section and going to the section before last.


Lilly: There it is! The door to the boss!

Necrox: This seems to overwhelm us with traps and enemies... well, what's more than what we already saw before?

Magio, Necrox and Lilly took their shots against the traps and mobs. They passed through the door, and walked the corridor, only to find Liebea at the beginning.

Necrox: Stop this drama. Karl is alive, you know that fully well.

Liebea: How can you say that?! H-How do you know that?!

Lilly: L-Liebea, calm down... I'm sure that Karl isn't dead. Even if he's away, I know that he'll come back, waiting to see you again!

Liebea: T-Then... Karl... no... he isn't coming...!!

Liebea... everythime she lost herself in anguish and despair, her power would get out of control. That's exactly what happened. Love Storm seemed to be a stupid, ridiculous power. But it wasn't. If used right, it could crush anyone, it doesn't matter who it is. Rosenkreuz simply looked at her, losing control like a doll without her master. Magio, Necrox and Lilly knew that this wasn't going to be the most powerful battle, but they knew that underestimating Liebea is a sign of overconfidence.

Liebea chanted her power. A great tempest plunged Magio and his brothers on the ground. Liebea was holding her head as her sapphire glowed brightly. Her power really was incredible.


Necrox: OK, I eat my words. She's more harder than what I thought...

Rosenkreuz: And now to end it... let me give you powers to assist you in battle.

Info: Shoots a powerful, homing orb at the enemy.

2. Divine Punisher
Owner: Fael Celest Duarte
Info: Concentrates his light on the sword, and can shoot a powerflu blast from it.

3. Active Elemental
Owner: Lilly Toadstool Kazami
Info: Changes the field's Mana to a desired element, making the battle lean to a certain side.

4. Stalemate
Owner: Mei Marie White
Info: Creates statues that will surround the enemy. Can be used as a shield.

5. Black Torch
Owner: Necrox Toadstool Scarlet
Info: Creates a floating black torch. It detonates upon user's touch.

6. Great Discharge
Owner: Hugh Maxell Black
Info: Charges electricity into himself to boost. Can grant electrical damage by simply touching the enemy.

7. Cursed Touch
Owner: Thomas Millard Naash
Info: Gather curses around him and can give a random debuff upon hitting the enemy.

They walked through the corridors, eating the lunch. Lilly and Necrox didn't shared their food, like Marie and Hugh. So they gave them to Satori, who ate it all. Their steps were the only in the entire school. They finally reached the door to the office. Satori sat back on her seat. She pressed a button and the door opened. Magio got first, followed by Necrox, Lilly and the rest.


Rinnosuke: Hello, everyone. It is nice to see you.

Magio: Hi, Kourin. Do you have something with us?

Rinnosuke: M-Magio, don't go calling me that. Anyway...

Rinnosuke snapped his fingers and 8 chairs appeared. He sat on the one in front of the rest and started to speak.

Rinnosuke: Possibly, you already know why I called you here, don't you?

Necrox: Let me guess. We're the only people in school to have powers, so you called us to help with a massacre with Peach, didn't you?

Necrox: And here comes the fun spoiler... seriously, you shouldn't turn the students down like that.

Keine returned to her table. She sat on the table and closed her eyes, as she started to think. For Peach to be here, it was the meaning of catastrophe.


Keine: ... That is Peach Toadstool Yakumo, the older sister of the Toadstool Triplets and the current head of the Toadstool Royal Family. She wasn't like this in the past, being a lively girl, like any woman at her young age. After making a Link with Yukari, she became this devil that stood right in front of you.

Necrox: The reason why we said that Yukari escaped is because she is one of Peach's aimed persons. Since Yukari is responsible for controlling borders, she tends to stop her easy lifestyle of hibernating.

Lilly: And the power she uses is greatly agressive than Yukari's. Yukari controls existent borders, she desires to break the impossible ones. All the power she uses comes from fallen warriors, either killed by her or not. That's why you felt a little weak.

Magio simply nodded and continued to look at the sun. It was already setting. Soon, the moon would take place and the night would come. Keine looked at Magio.

Keine: The question is "What is hidden under your everyday smile?"... and now I found. You're worried with all of us, aren't you? You believe that Peach would come here and kill all of us... am I right?
