When he looked, they were already entering. Cruz saw Zanvier, Amn and Majikku entering. As he heard, the other team was from Ravenclaw. A guild with a name known for being good strategists. They need to be ready for thinking instead of going full forward., he thought, getting worried about them. The only thing he was able to do at that moment was pray and watch, in the bleachers to their west, right on the front line of people.

Sol smiled at Cruz, "Magic comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, no matter what the source it should be accepted. Well except those dark magic people that kill everybody, that's just rude." Sol said thoughtfully. "Anyway I doubt anyone here really cares what kind of magic you use as long as it doesn't involve sacrifices." He looked at Meruin as her friends teleported into the room and she gleefully hugged them. "Guess she opens up to poeple she knows." He said through a mouthful of pancakes.

"I see...", he said, relieved. Cruz smiled once again as her looked at Meruin and the scene. Suddenly, a screen popped up as Lhermite showed on. "... If I may speak, I do believe that you should pay attention to the quantity of food you are eating and-", the AI said as he saw that Cruz wasn't alone. Cruz looked away a little bit, sighed and spoke once again. "This is one of a technomage's specialities: Artificial Intelligences. I suppose you may had heard of them, but ours can have a personality as well. This is Lhermite, my personal AI. Lhermite, this is Sol... he's my, uh... friend.", he said, introducing his companion. Inside the screen, Lhermite bowed to Sol. "It's a pleasure to meet you. And I shall thank you for becoming Lord Cruz's friend. You see, he can easily die if he keeps being lonely, just like that legend with rabbits that-", Lhermite kept speaking, but got interrupted by Cruz. "A-A-As you can see, he talks a lot sometimes.... haha...", Cruz said, totally embarrased.

Soon, he heard the Principal and saw another new student: James Hunter. He seemed pretty shy, somewhat similar to Cruz. After the Principal spoke, he left for talking with Meruin about something. "A new student... I do hope he can make a lots of friends.", Cruz said.

Nitori: Uhh, guys... I don't wanna sould annoying but...

Necrox: But...?

Nitori: You guys... have exactly 20 minutes before your lunchtime is over.

Giovanni: Oh crap! We better hurry! Let's go flying-

Necrox: Damnit, I should have held Magio with us. His Spiritism -Soul- would have worked right now...

Lilly: There's no use in complaining!! Let's go before we're late to class!!

Necrox: Alright. I was only able to get a terminal though...

Before they got outside, Seraph was being confronted by someone. That someone was Rosenkreuz.

Rosenkreuz: Hmm... I am glad to see nothing did happen...

Seraph: ... What do you want?
Rosenkreuz: Nothing. I just came to see if you are safe. I had asked a favor to your friend before.

Seraph: Don't tell me you...
Rosenkreuz: I did not. But the time to tell them the truth is now.

Seraph: ... Never.
Rosenkreuz: You will take her place, maybe. Even if you are older than her.

Seraph: ... I don't want it. I already said so.
Rosenkreuz: How insistent and rebellious. Can you imagine how worried she is about you?

Seraph: With an almost infinite amount of persons in the Multiverse, she wastes her time with me. I wonder why, though...
Rosenkreuz: I already said what I wanted to. I had advised you more than once.

Seraph: ... Just go already.
Rosenkreuz: ... Yes, my Lord. I will.

And Rosenkreuz disappeared. Seraph looked at the sun, almost as if he was actually seeing the heavens.


Seraph: ... When are you going to learn... that I won't take it...

Lisa came back from the fight. She escaped it before the explosion could happen. As she got there, she was without any bruise, even though she was defeated by a Last Word.

Sol grinned, "We're all friends here mate, no need to be nervous. Today's been good, i've got a feeling its going to get a lot more exciting." he replied, as he chowed down inhaling his pancakes.

"I... I know. I am just... not used with this...", he said while looking back at his food. He grabbed the apple he picked up and started to eat it. As he chowed, he started to think about his words. We're all friends here...? Does that mean... that he has no hatred towards me, even if I am who I am?, he thought. Cruz thought about what Sol thought about his comment, so he made sure to say something so he could explain himself. "Sorry if it felt confusing, by the way. The reason why I said that... it is because technomages are frequently hated by other types of magicians, since we use technology and science alongside magic. They had set this... prejudice and we're nothing but fakes to their eyes. T-That is why I am so unsocial...", he explained. It's the first time Cruz would open up to someone, but he felt that Sol was friendly and he would listen.

Giovanni: Considering their answer, I'll stay with Kael and Thomas. Don't feel like this is actually usable for me, you know.

Seraph: We are still not comfortable with high technology, so I will decline the offer as well.

Nitori: That's fine for me.

Lilly: Uh, Nitori... I pressed the button on the terminal and...

Nitori: Hey, don't worry. It's actually getting the memory of your cellphone.

Lilly: I see- wait, what?

Necrox: Do you mean to say that these portable terminals are like cellphones? That's not hi-tech enough.

Nitori: ...I'm not going.

Giovanni: How fast!

Lilly: Why not? You could even win if you wanted.

Nitori: I won't do something that I'll end up not using at all. I do things that are going to be used, you know.

Giovanni: I see. Well, it's good to know that.

Nitori: And you two mentioned a guild or something... is it possible that you two spoke of the World Crossers Guild?

Giovanni: You know about it, Nitori?

Reisen: I'm... actually the one who told her about it. I'm very sorry.

Seraph walked towards the outside of the shop. Reisen looked a little as he got away.

Cruz reached the cafeteria. He saw everyone gathering around Meruin, but he decided not to bother them and went ahead to pick some food. "Cruz, are you not interested on what they are doing on that gathering over there?", Lhermite asked. "Even if I am curious, we should not meddle. Plus... what would someone like me would be doing there?", he whispered, while getting his food.

Cruz had heard Majikku's shout. He stopped, but not to turn back. He grabbed a paper and a pen and wrote a message

We cannot waste all of our energies in this tournament. If something else happens during the time you battle, I will be ready to leap in. I am sorry for not joining you, but I will be watching and rooting for you all. That is most of what I always did. After all, my proficiency in battle is almost zero.

He carefully made a plane out of that message and shot it towards the direction they headed. After that, he headed down to the bleachers.

Nitori: Oh, you guys can get somethings for free.

Lilly: W-W-We can?!

Nitori: Since you're the ones who did the hard work to stop the district from getting destroyed, I'm going to give you 5 items each for free.
