Still alive, kind of. The wifi hasn't been great to where I wanted it. Either this laptop is connecting and I make my posts tomorrow, or I'm going to the library to make some RP posts.

Again, sorry if I've been running slow...a whole other, months long RP was just shut down, nd that was kind of depressing.

@CuccorulerHeh, I wrote it mainly as an opening...the player character, you can write in as playing the game in real life, and then just out of the blue being in the game. Or, falling out into the world outside of their intended game start.

How much she would know of the game, that's up to you. Whether this was a second play through, or she had a guide, a game borrowed from a friend...

The library should have been empty, with the silence and the faint old book smell. Not that it mattered, one student alone being in when they should have been in class, the silence remained the the smell unaltered. Still, covering all the bases, Orin brought a hand up to cup at the side of his mouth, "Pretty little miss, I don't really care if you spend time in the library or not during class hours, but I do want to be able to say that I had asked, at the very least. So, shouldn't you be attending a class?"

Letting himself hang out of the reflection of the skylight for about two minutes for effect, he pulled himself through and out of the shining surface of the desk, stepped off of it and settling back into his chair, back to the cataloging. Lightly licking a thumb, tasting the bitter wax, turning a stuck page...not tearing his eyes off of the catalog page, though he had gone off and further away, his voice was projected out of the nearest mirror by the girl, "...actually, since you're here now, maybe I can put you to use. You seem to be interested in reading materials, what are your prior experiences with libraries?"
Name: Orin

Appearance:

Age: Twenties?

Primary ability: Divination and Sealing Magic

Preferred magic type: Mirror Magic: reflection based travel magic, sealing magic, communication magic, tracking magic, and divination magic.

Personality: This guy is helpful, loyal, and completely honest. Of course, honesty is good and bad. He'll tell you if you're beautiful or look like...'poop'. He'd expose a hiding spot if asked or a weakness if he knows it. Most would just call him a blabber mouth, but he is actually incapable of lying. Though he is a good guy, he tends to pick less honorable people as friends (they take advantage of him). If he doesn't want to/is avoiding answering a question, he'll start speaking in rhymes and/or riddles.

Job title: Librarian, titled 'Golden Mirror/Magic Mirror'

Miscellaneous: At a young age, he had been better at his divination magic than sealing magic, but the scales have been tipped with time and tutoring. Besides mirror magic, he’s actually quite physically weak, though he does have a thing for fencing. His older brother was named as ‘Demon Mirror’, due to his ability to corrupt others in heart and mind by making them see the world as wholly ugly…of course, this power would be terrible to the world, so Orin had to bite the bullet and seal away his only family member into the most important mirror seal he could.
Water water, everywhere, and not a drop to drink. There were ghouls working for their Prince, crossing left and right, out of air-ducts...well, maybe not the air-ducts. Coming up as if this were a boardroom meeting, Antares wore his hair in a tight bun, but kept the leather from earlier…even if it did smell like the sea. The white haired kindred smiled into his jacket collar like a child might, and listened with matching attentiveness…which was hard, since he wasn’t sure if he should remember some of those present. Those besides the Prince.
There were red ones,
and a blond one,
and two dark ones,
all so attractive,
that was a little disappointing,
and,
and…
Cranston always had these neat little clear and concise explanations of recent events. If Antares had to be the one to speak on the matter, it might have been daybreak before they got to the point. In any case, inquisition, LaChance, kidnapped…these buzzed through his head as if it were a hive, and each piece of information a busy bee.

When their Prince asked for a show of hands, two pale hands were out before he could finish thinking on it. Couldn’t help but chuckle, and hold his hands up, “I feel that my hands out when you ask now means that I must take part of this mission, not that I wouldn’t have, if they had not been held out at your bidding…though, I’m not certain that they wouldn’t have been out, if you hadn’t ask for them, though I don’t think the probability is as easy as a coin toss--”

Chuckle bubbling out of his throat again and stopping the start of that again, he tilted his head down, his wide smirk hidden by that jacket collar again as his eyes went over the others present, almost apologetic, “You have my service, my prince, let me not speak further on this than I need to.” Eyes focusing on the other Malkavian present after a moment, he gave her a curt nod, tearing his attentions to elsewhere, then back on Cranston.
@Subject Zero
I'm all in favor of Cranston's angels (shh, Antares doesn't know any better!).
I haven't posted in a while...what's been going on?
I could probably stand to flesh it out some, but there is a start. Some NPCs may logically be returning from a trip out of Patina as well (not all of them mind you), or they might be doing their own thing with other characters.
