Things were rough at first, very rough like running with your face pressed against a stone wall rough. There was panic in the air so thick you could break your legs trying to kick it away, but the other guy, Greg's breathing started to mellow and and he looked like the driver managed to get grab some of the reigns. "Yeah glass, or something like it." Santiago nodded. The guy was definitely starting to get a hold of himself, you could tell because Santiago had heard that sound too, which was good because he didn't want to be the one to have to pull him up over the edge. The last time he was responsible for bringing someone back from wherever it was they went when their fingers started loosing a hold on reality he got kicked in the nuts so hard he couldn't walk for weeks. Which he understood but still resented. Its just that how was he supposed to know the difference between a seizure and a honest mental break down? He'd only been twelve at the time and figured if it involved so much twitching and biting someone was going to the land of fruits and flying gummi bears.

"Er. It's Santiago, but you can call me Jimmy, or whatever it is I'm supposed to go by. I'll have to get back to you on that one."

There was a pause and it was from Santiago because he hadn't paid attention to anything really before meeting the guy. "Which room did I come from? That's a good question." He looked around. "Which room didn't I come from, I think that would be the best route for narrowing things down, don't you?" He scratched the end of his nose, but that just made the spot behind his ear tickle. "I'm pretty sure I turned a corner somewhere." He looked around and focused on a door. It looked like any other door he'd seen, at least the ones that didn't lead into the room of a teenager who was currently going through one of the kind of phases that involved leather, spikes and enough black to raise your body temperature ten degrees. "Let's go through this one." He said pointing. "I've got a feeling about it." He nodded at Greg Enthusiastically.
Huzzah! I have obtained the Side Jobs audio book! Sadly it isn't narrated by James Marsters though.

Loved Side jobs. My favorite one was with that showed how Harry met Murphy!
Fyi I'm going to try and get a reply up after work. I hate to leave people behind but I don't want to make everyone whose posting have to wait
“Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face.”
Dead Beats will always have a special place in my heart~ But I generally like certain scenes because they are the most memorable, like that time with Mouse, Harry, and the security guard at Thomas's apartment.

So our first world will be the Third Eye thing right? Its been forever since I've read the first few books. What's Third Eye made of?

Which one is Dead beat again? Is it the one with Tyrannosaurus Bob, because if it is then Its definitely one of my favorites :D
Or that scene where Mouse chased down the toad guy, smashed the man into the truck so hard he broke bones, and then gave a huff sound to indicate that was that XD

I think I like that latest two books, Cold Days and Skin Game the most, especially Cold days because of how much information you got on Nemesis, the outsiders, and Mab. And lets face it its hard to top getting to see Mab's nurturing side :P
Okay first post is up. Sorry it was kind of rushed. If you guys don't like it I can change it in the morning. It's just I'm so sleepy now. Oh so sleepy T.T
The city block looked like any other block, at least if you only took a moment to gaze at it before hurrying on thanks to that terror inducing sensation that started at the base of your skull and shot down all the way to your neck like when a high school bully whose nose was touching yours while one hand flexed over your windpipe and the other held something a lot more sensitive to damage below your waist: sure there wasn't exactly violence going on, but that didn't mean it wasn't lurking around the corner, juggling knives, and just waiting for someone to take a wrong turn. As it stood fifteen wardens had gone into the block looking for the source of the fear inducing aura and none have come out. In fact, nothing had come out, aside from the occasional red court vampire in a human disguise. If you spent enough time watching the place you'd realize that birds didn't even fly over the area above it. If there was a big flock heading in its direction they just parted like water going around a stone or people in a rich part of town avoiding a corner filled with beggars.

In a room with a view, at least on a few blocks away from the building in question, a lone warden sat on a chair with cold cup of tea on the arm rest. In his hand was a letter explaining to him what he, and the others that should be arriving shortly, were supposed to do: investigate the building at the center of the area, and neutralize any red court activity. "This is a bad idea." He said folding his arms and crossing his legs. "Going in blind is what got the others killed and its going to get us killed. Sending more and more people in at a time isn't going to change the fact that we lack any sort of in-tell, aside from the knowledge that red court vampires seem to be doing fine there." He turned and looked back at the door, hoping someone would show up soon so he'd have an ear to complain to.

[hider-James(Jimmy Thurber)]
Name: James(Jimmy) Thurber
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jimmy stands at 5'11 with a medium build. He's not fat, there's muscle, it's just that muscle can only do so much when your constantly eating fast foods and sweets because there's not enough time for everything else. He wears his long black hair in a ponytail. He has a rare condition which causes his eyes to be different colors(Left brown, right green.)
Abilities:
Evocation- Spirit
Thaumaturgy- Conjuration

Role spells:
Inanis-Jimmy focuses on a spot and snaps his fingers pushing everything physical out of a space the size of a soccer ball, creating a vacuum resulting in an implosion.
Lamma-Jimmy creates blades of will and launches them at opponents.
Levate-Jimmy can point at an object and then point again for where he wants the object to go. Currently the maximum weight of an object he can lift with this spell is fifty pounds and the maximum speed in which he can send it is 75 mph.

Special items:
Staff-A three foot long staff made from quebracho wood. Its his primary focus.
Gold Ring-Constantly absorbs light(Sun, stars, artificial.) Which he can released in a moment's notice. The only problem is if the ring is exposed to sunlight it quickly starts overloading so he either has to regularly empty the vessel, or wear a leather glove to keep it from light.
Magical Windbreaker- A black windbreaker jacket covered in black symbols, which when activate glow white and project a field of will which vastly decreases friction, allowing the user to move much faster.

Items: Travelling Sack, Chalk, Army Knife, pens, a small notebook, salt, and a magnetic board that you could play chess and checkers on.
Personality: Normally quiet, unless he's found someone who he's comfortable talking to. Jimmy doesn't say much but when he does its usually whatever's going on in his own internal world slipping out, ie he, he doesn't normally take time think if what he's going to say needs to be said and if it needs to be said by him. Despite always trying leave his choices up to logic Jimmy is a very emotional human being and has trouble doing things that conflict with what his heart says.
Background: Jimmy's life started easily enough. He came out of a woman after that woman had sex with a man she never saw again for the rest of her life. He grew up with a mother who though too busy sometimes, always made sure he stayed on the right track, and never hesitated to give him a good smack when she felt he wasn't veering a bit too much to the left, which didn't happen often thanks to his heroes always being those characters in comic books who went through all those negative phases before his vary eyes. This went on till around the age of eleven when he accidentally destroyed a video game arcade, and the wardens found him. They didn't execute him which was good and even gave him an opportunity to join their ranks, protect the vanilla mortals and get some extra cash to help his single mother with the bills.
