Pokemon AU

Rules
1. The usual stuff: no god modding, meta playing, etc, etc
2. I'm not too picky on grammar, but please try. No text speech.
3. I'm not going to get mad if you can't reply everyday, because I too have a life and probably won't be able to either, but let's try to get something once every two or three days, and if not a head's up would be nice.

I don't have any other rules as of yet, but I'll probably get some up tomorrow.


There's an idea I'm playing around with, and I think it could be a good group rp. The only reason I'm putting it here, instead of in the group section is for two reasons. The first being that group rps are kind of iffy, and the second is I'd like to maybe discuss things with a single individual and get things worked out so there would be less problems that come about during a group play.

I don't have very much planned out since I only got the idea a little earlier today, but here's what I have so far..
So the setting will be in an alternate universe where mankind and pokemon are on the brink of extinction. There's a few factors for this, but the main one is a war that's going on between two vicious forces, both of which can take control of, and/or warp healthy beings into twisted nightmares. I'm still working on what these opposing forces will be like. Most of the legendarily pokemon have either been defeated, or disappeared altogether. The only one left is Mewtwo, whose aligned himself with team rocket, or some other gang, to protect the largest city that's left.

As for our characters their going to be different. Their going to each have a single pokemon, maybe a team but the important part is the one pokemon, and that pokemon will be bounded with them. I'm not sure how, or why (maybe intervention by a third party,) but them and their pokemon will be immune to the twisting/ control effects of the other conflicting sides. I also want to do something different with evolution maybe like in digimon(evolves into higher forms and then back again.) They'll be different in other ways too like they'll have unique moves, and maybe there will be some telll tale sign their different.

So that's the idea so far.

Pokemon: Korrano Region - The Great White North

There was a buzzing sound, one which hadn't been hear in years. It was the only reason Jynmi was able to be out of bed before noon, which was his normal time for it. He was on his feet, looking around like a wild animal, in seconds. For these first several minutes, the world was utter confusion. He hadn't the slightest idea of where he was, or why he was there. Once he remembered there was still a moment of confusion, but the what turned to why. It didn't last long though, and he quickly accepted his decision. "And so it begins." He said as he turned around from the window towards the sea to look at the uniform he ironed and hung the night before. "Alright. Let's get this over with." He dressed quickly, and had a light breakfast of toast, eggs, and orange juice. He forgot to grab a bag of pokemon food before the boat left the docks so his pokemon ate the same things he did, and then right back into their balls. There was a mirror in the restroom that he thought of looking at after he brushed his teeth, but he decided there was enough shock to the system for one day. He grabbed his balls, and hurried out the door.

He didn't know his way around the boat very well. He had spent most of his time locked up in his room. Add to that the crowd of people that seemed bent on getting in his way. He did his best to be polite, but with some people, more than you'd think, considering his size, were just stubborn. So he pushed, and nobody complained, while he was within hearing distance. Luckily, he just needed to head towards the back of the boat, and he found the room. At least he thought it was the room, but he wasn't certain, right away. "Uhm." Jynmi mumbled, and looked around. There was a few people already inside, and one of them was balled. "Oh good." He walked up to the bald man, because he remembered someone bald being in charge. "This is the ranger's meeting, right?"

Biography: Jynmi spent his earlier years in constant motion because of his father's life in the service. This instilled in him a sense of the important of service and sacrifice, but it didn't instill into him a sense of authority. At the age of fourteen he was kicked out of his home due to a bad argument with his father. So he wondered around the Hoenn region for a while, trying his hand at being a trainer. He got a few badges before he was approached by a recruiter that knew his father, and told him about the new region, and the need for rangers. Jynmi saw it as a chance of fixing his past and quickly joined.

So there's going to be fan made pokemon?
I'm I correct in thinking that our characters, the rangers, will be veterans, or at least trainers with some experience ie their well past their starter ceremony, and have at least a full team?
