Hmm, could a surprise visit from a less then pleasant Ares happen? I feel an event might stir up some action and give us plenty to write for over the next few days.

I do have an event in mind too.
This peaks my interest to a degree, but many things are vague and character creation and a character aesthetic/idea is what I honestly use to anchor myself fully in a world I am interested in, so I would like to Pm you soon and perhaps discuss ideas and things I have in mind for my character.

I also a bit more of a rundown on the Technology "Wizards." I suspect it will be little more them elemental weapons being utilized in creative ways, but I do still want to actually have a grasp of what you mean for them.
I HAVE RETURNED!
I am here.. just fighting some stress, I should have a post by tomorrow morning. ^^
Welcome to Boneshatter Shanty. We hope you enjoy your day!
Because the Godgiven metals are still present in true mythology. I stated that already. Celestial Bronze and other godly metals are used to create weapons imbued with special powers and similar attributes. Those being weapons like the Three Brother's Godly Spears, and etc.

We meshed the two forms of Celestial Bronze, the majority of it's properties from true mythology, but with the Camp Half-Blood aspect of being able to be disguised as well. We have meshed many of the concepts, but we derive most of the knowledge and mechanics of the Greek Myths from True mythology.
Aside from our deary Cathyrn wanting to be accepted into the Rp, and a small notion of either needing a blacksmith AE, and/or our characters(I am going trudge through a depression post, just to say I posted for once) moving to a new town, or starting a new settlement.

By the way, I think you have some weird obsession with starting a new settlement Sola. XD
It is not about what the creator of the series has done with it, it is literally the fact that myself, and Vicier, as Gm's have declared this, and that not all of what we will be doing is derived from the series in which Camp Half-Blood rests.

I have been doing this a very long time, and I can tell you all manner of things in mythology that are never commonly stated, but still hold true. Silver is referred to most often when fighting the reborn deceased under the control of Hades or another entity from Erebus.

The mere fact that you insult me, and tell me that I disregarding the creator of Camp Half-Blood's series, is appalling. I am doing as myself and Vicier have always done. It is Camp Half-Blood, but with a more sense of what is true mythology. If you have a problem with our use of true mythology, then I am sorry you feel that way, but this is how it has always been, and how it will always be, so please for the sake of our patience stop trying to argue a moot point.

The subject is not changing, the use of Silver against undead and spectral beings is not commonly known, but that makes it no less true and apparent in Mythology. End of that story.
No, no. My dear friend, Hercules killed many a beast with his bare hands before he became immortal. As a Demigod he was forced through the ten trials of Hercules, each featuring a mythical beast to kill, and the Greek armies did not have access to mine copper from Olympus willy-nilly as such you claim.

In true mythology the requirement of a specific weapon is not as Camp Half-blood makes it, in true mythology the Copper of Olympus was used to imbue weapons with godly power. Examples are Perseus' Sword during his slaying of the Kraken, or the Brother's Three Spears. The Celestial Copper was simply a material to imbue weapons with power, not to make them capable of slaying greek beasts.

In every form of the tale(except th Camp Half-blood one) Medusa is decapitated by a normal blade. Never is there a version in true mythology is there a variant in which they require a special one.

What I am saying, to be blunt and quick, is that this Rp is based off Camp Half-Blood, but it's details, lore, and specifics of Greek Mythology come from, for the majority of everything, true Mythology.
