Yeah, I am still here fellas, just rough around the edges still.. I will post tonight, with a monumental post to indulge your minds with background on the Slayers and my character. ^^
Actually, the most formal(and common) use is Past tense when not speaking in dialogue. This is done mostly in Third person, while dialogue is present tense, and in first person.
Example-Third Person Formal(Past Tense)text- Allen found himself distraught before the squad of slayers, three had followed his lead to find a nest of Golden Geckos, but all that had been found was the remains of brutally slaughtered beings. The normally massive beasts of mass irradiation seemed to have been devoured and devastated by a creature much larger than themselves.
Example-First Person Dialogue(Present tense)text- "Andrew, Denise, Marcus.. It seems something far worse is here, the Golds are no threat now, but I am pretty sure that is bad news, with this evidence at least."

Go ahead and make the first post my friends, I am terribly sorry, but I was supposed to get some slack the other day, but the moment I do, I end up getting sick. For the past couple of days I have done but take meds, lie in bed, and vomit four or five times a day. I will be back in a few days, I promise.
No, not at the moment. We don't have one, just keep in mind the style of setting we have stated to implicate, it is a Survival-esque rp which will involve a lot of wasteland fighting over anything else.
Ok, well to address this situation, A) We already have a couple Survivalist types, my character included. B) Nightstalkers are not only op as a pet, but are actually un-trainable in lore. That is why they broke free. They were experiments at Big Mountain and escaped after the bombs fell. They were never able to be tamed, and will never be able to be tamed. C) We already have a Beastmaster character who accents the use of a companion and furthers that Archetype with a Mutation.

I would really like to both use a bit of the original map, as well as involve some of our own material, so I was thinking perhaps north of New Vegas a ways, just off the original map, and using maybe Freeside as a Starter settlement. Or, if you all like we can just use the original map, but remember, the concept is the fact a Vault exploded and causes a massive Nuclear eruption and spawns a hell-sized number of mutated animals and Ghouls over a couple decades, meaning the map of NV would likely be less populated then even before, but settlements themselves would be more coordinated and well defended.
We could always do a Composite Post, where we start off the story with an entry post that has the story starting off from both points of view of our characters. I.e. One a Slayer, and one not, as to show where the roads will lead in the beginning.
