Current The proof of a healthy mind is not its ability to solve the problems that are before it, but the subconscious understanding not to for the sake of health itself.

As the bowl of patunias would say, as it falls through the air to meet the planet's hard rocky surface: "Not again."

Talking in riddles is fun. Putting them to poem is better. Presentation is the key.

Welcome Home!
Spellthief watched Ace carefully through the fog as he moved around carefully behind Ace. Soon he noticed Ace’s moved quickly to throw the arrow behind him, still lacking vision spellthief had to admit his perception of the battle was outstanding, able to predict movements though Spellthief still held an upper hand. The arrow Spellthief shot at ace was now being shot back at him but it was clear that the lack of vision still took its toll since the arrow missed, even if it was only barely. Spellthied sat down as he used his shade ability to further complicate things. Once the copy was made it silently ran again behind ace to better confuse him.

Still in his original position Spellthief again manipulated the fog to speak to Ace.
"The clock ticks as arrows fly,
Shadows move within the ground’s sky.
Hunt for what’s missing look for what’s sitting.
Be warned, one may also be two that may be hitting."

Once his other self was in position Spellthief again manipulated the fog to constantly move to better give the illusion that there are multiple people running around, all one at a time.

There was a loud cracking noise as the Spellthief's arrow that Ace threw hit the wall signaling that he had missed his target. Spellthief was fast, he knew this, and that would make fighting him blind a challenge that Ace just couldn't pass up. Ace could only use his sense of hearing to try and locate Spellthief. After he jumped the arrow had hit the wall of the gym he waited for anything indicating his opponents whereabouts. It wasn't long before the inevitable happened, though, and he could hear someone running ever so delicately through the fog. It was loud enough to tell someone was there in the silence, but quiet enough to make it hard to place it's origin.

As Ace stood in the fog trying to locate the sound another riddle came to him.

"The clock ticks as arrows fly,
Shadows move within the ground’s sky.
Hunt for what’s missing look for what’s sitting.
Be warned, one may also be two that may be hitting."

'so this is a timed game of hide-and-seek?' Ace thought to himself. Then the fog started darting in every which direction as if there were people everywhere running around him. Ace felt the urge to panic and start swinging at anything, but quickly put that feeling aside as he continued to focus. He began to turn slowly, on alert, looking and listening attempting to determine what was moving and what was wind. While he scanned the fog he was able to find a faint silhouette amidst the shifting fog. 'behind me... Again?' he thought the it was odd to try the same tactic twice unless he was somewhere else to begin with. Not knowing that the figure he saw was just a copy he charged his body and leaped after it. Once on the air he began to thrown cards not at him but around him in an attempt to stop any plans for escape.
Josh, after Jinny had climed in the truck, shut the door and looked back at Richard. Pausing a moment he wondered if that is what it looked like to the people he knew when he had left just a day ago. Even though they had known Richard for a short time it still grieved Joshua to watch him walking away. Even with all the trouble he went through to get out of that town, Richard came to a dark realization that he was running to and for nothing.

After reflecting Josh walked around the front of the truck and got in, started it and began driving. It took all his willpower to not look back in the mirror as they got further and further, but no matter how much Joshua wanted to he thought it would be disrespectful to watch for something to happen. He thought he would give Richard his peace and solitude.

After a short while of driving Josh looked over to see Jinny curled up in her seat sad for Richard. "so..." he said trying to start a conversation to take her mind off of the subject. There was a prolonged silence as Josh search for something to say. "do you know how to read a map, I am going to need a navigator." Josh rubbed his bandaged wound before continuing. "there is a map in the left side pocket of my pack. You can open the window and grab it if you want."
I'm working on a post but it may take a while to get it done.
Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know that I am working on a handful of posts, and plan to have some up tomorrow night at some point. Thanks for your patience and I am very sorry.

Woo-hoo. I will start working on a post. It might be a while I am working on a lot of posts.
Marcus tilted his head at Emma's remark of flying the ship thinking it was quite odd, but he didn't dwell on it too much as he was distracted by Jacque getting real close to Kijani. It was at this moment as he watched calmly the Warden made her way to the weapons and reached in drying to grab one as if the field they spoke of earlier were just a fairy tale to keep people away. Marcus' concentration on wanting to kill Jacque, but not having a weapon, was broken by the loud zap and cry from Warden. He turned to see her laying on the ground twitching various parts of her body from the surge of electricity she had received.

Watching Kijani rush to warden's aid he made his way slowly to her side, kneeling down, and out a hand on her shoulder. "she's gone." he said in a sympathetic tone. "it's not of any good to try after a shock like that." Marcus stood again and saw that the weapons were now made available by Warden's act of ignorance. "what should we do with her?" Marcus may not be good at the timing of this question, seeing as it wasn't two minutes afterwards.
I probably won't be able to get a post up today, but I will be working on one to hopefully have up tomorrow.

Emma arrived at what she though might be origin of the noise. The sight confirmed her suspicion, the doors had been torn open by something or someone. She peeked around the edge of the door frame. A small group of people were trying to access the weapons. "I might be able to get some stuff out for you guys." She walked slowly and non threateningly into the room. "I can't feel any thing, including electricity. Since dying isn't a concern, it would be very easy. That is if the security system in here works on using pain to stop people from trying to get at the weapons." Emma approached a weapon rack, hopefully she was right.

"It is not so much the pain as it is the field created by the electricity." Marcus said eyeing the new arrival. She seemed sane enough to him so he chose not to rase any kind of defense. "the pain is just one of the two part deterrent."

Having left his partner behind, Jacque raced through the ship as fast as his legs could carry him, hoping to whatever deity was out there that the hull of the ship had not been damaged by whatever caused the alarms to go off. Jacque was just passing a corridor when the horrible sound of metal being shredded forced him to pause and cringe. Catching sight of his fellow 'ship mates' entering a room, Jacque tucked his cane under his arm and followed after them silently, entering the doorway just in time to watch a new comer (Emma) offer to retrieve weapons for them. His previous fears forgotten, Jacque decided he might as well observe the small group, "I swear-" he began as he untucked his cane and brought the bottom back to the ground with a *tap* "-it always goes back to weapons with you humans.". He seemed somewhat mirthful, and there was a slim smile on his face, however the words carried a tinge of disdain just beneath the surface.

Kijani had been ready to try her vines on the electrocuted weapons, but before she could speak up, some woman walked into the room. Another prisoner, then? She mentioned something interesting.. something about dying not being a concern. Maybe if the poor creature couldn't feel, she just wanted not to live? She really couldn't blame the girl... after all, there were some wonderful things worth feeling. She spun at the voice of Jacque, her golden eyes narrowing. "Please, do tone down the human hate... I thought you were a civilized being." She bared her teeth in a wolfish smile. "Now, if you must know, it seems that our freedom may have been an engineered occurrence rather than a rare stroke of good luck. We do not know who has freed us, but if it were for purposes of a better life, they likely wouldn't have left us drifting in unknown space. I prefer preparation to surprise. If you aren't going to join us in defending ourselves, you can be..." Her lips quirked. "The clean-up crew."

Marcus too turned to see Jacque as he entered and mentioned his disapproval of them looking for and attempting to acquire weapons. That is when Kijani had announced that they were released by someone who could very well be on their way to do who knows what. "Yes, we my be having company that intends to buy and or sell us for what ever they want, and we cannot simply 'bite' people as some can." Marcus emphasized bite as he looked past Jacque. "where is Jason?"
