It is completely okay, I am in no hurry, so take all the time you need. I can understand the difficulty in posting especially when sick. Some how when you are sick it effects everything you try to do.
Kinda but not really, unless you want us to describe what is going to happen, but that cpuld lead to deviation from the line you want.

Personality:
Okaru is very military because of his background and as such very up tight. He doesn't show a lot of emotion and has a thing about respect. He hates cowardice and people who complain a lot. He is also a natural leader and will be quick to take that role. He also has been shocked out of any sound morals and will do what he sees as better for the group.
Special skills (Optional):
Okaru has very good survival and combat skills from schooling and is an extremely good marksman, He has good knowledge of first aid, and can operate most any vehicle.

Survival knife
AR-15
Two fragment Grenades

Okaru comes from a military family that for centuries has devoted their service to their country. He was home schooled to a high school level be the age of 14 and got an associate degree by 16 then went to military school after that. He was a star student you could say, but his main drive was not being top of the class it was to gain respect and gratitude form his family.
His plan was to be put in the field by 18 and begin doing real work for his country instead of disaster response, but he never imagined that the battlefield and Desaster Response teams wold be working hand in hand on their own soil. It was chaos and he was forced to do things he though he would never have to do. He was forced to fire on civilians as they tried to seek safty, bomb shelters for people who were potentially dangerous and/or infected. Eventually he lost all sence of right and wrong.
Okaru was Drafted into an N.T. squad (Neutralize and Terminate) which were alowd to do just about anything if it was against the Infection. After a while of being on this squad they were trapped with only one way out. Okaru was the only one able to get away and was forced to shoot his team and escape.
Other:
Okaru isn't crazy but just has a different view on how to deal with the world as it is. He is still suffering from his past and remebers it in his dreams as nightmares. He can still make moral judgments, but if under pressure will take the easy way which most often includes shooting.

Well, you being the GM kinda have the responsibility to set each scene as we walk into it. We dont really know what is behind the doors, only you do, so we can't say what is going to happen.
I am going to have to put this on ice for now. There is rl stuff that is getting to a climax and there seems to be very little interest.
