As Victor stood in one of the many floors looking out of the window as a silhouette when his CCS gave him an alert.
"ID match: The fighting personnel have been confirmed as Pre-Empire Resistance leaders. This is one of there many assassination attempts."
Victor continued to stand watching the group struggle in there efforts to execute such a reckless plan. He noticed Kami had avoided the initial attack and was using what he could ony perceive as a mental attack on the young woman.
"While I was created to protect Kami I do believe that this alternate line of events calls for a different type of action. We shall see."

Josh walked up deside the truck while the man was talking, and was about to go give it a push when he offered for Jinny to ride in the cab with him. Josh thought for a moment but really didn't know or trust this guy enough to be comfortable with that situation. He looked down and saw her pleading eyes. "How about you ride in the back," he said to Jinny then looked up at the man. "It's not that I don't trust you, but you'd probably feel the same in my position" Josh knew the man ment well and was probably a nice guy, but they had only just met and their trust was hanging on only on fact: they didn't kill each other.

Jack let up on the knife and stood up holding the arrow. "I am not going to kill you." He said stepping back. "If you want to stay that's fine, but this." He held up the arrow. "Will have to stop." Jack put his knife back in its sheath on his belt, and held out his hand. "We both know that wondering around town is suicide." Jack didn't trust the young woman, but his moral code wouldn't allow him to just toss her out for such a small offense. It was a tough world and he knew what it was like to be in her position... and worse.
