Broken Anime

I will try to have a CS up today, as I will be unavailable for three days, starting tomorrow. I'll still be able to keep up with the OOC/IC (if it gets up), but won't be able to post. Sorry about that!

Hey everyone,

Starting from tomorrow, I'll be unavailable for three days (basically Friday plus the weekend). I will still have wifi connection there, so I'll be able to keep up with the IC and OOC, but no computer, so I won't be able to post.

Appearance: Castiel has spiky black hair and topaz eyes, which is the same for most Ventan citizens. However, he is noticeably paler than most of his peers, despite all the time he spends outside. The reason for that is unknown to him. His height is below average, but it fits him perfectly. His clothes vary, as he has a fitting outfit for every terrain, it all depends where he wants to go next.

Bio: Castiel was born in one of the large, more technologically advanced sities of VENTUS. He was born as the youngest of a rich, but not royal family. Despite that, his parents were very knowledgeable and responsible and didn't pamper him too much. The small Castiel's love for exploring was shown at a very early stage of his life when he almost made it out of the city and got back safely without getting lost once. While his father was the owner of a big industrial corporation with factories all over VENTUS, he didn't force the boy to be his successor. In fact, he supported him in his dream to travel around the world.

When Castiel has already conquered the highest skyscrapers in his city, he decided to push his limits and take on one of the floating metal platforms, which he has heard lots of stories about. He quickly travelled to the nearest one and examined it. It was large, although not as large so that a city could be built on it, but it surely sufficed for the size of a smaller town. He also found out that the only way up is on small stones that orbit these platforms, getting closer and closer to it. He didn't get scared and started to hop to one stone to another in a quick succession. From halfway up, he noticed a massive field of iron sand a mile or so away from him, which was seemingly getting hit by a huge magnetic storm. He could feel its power even from his position. Being truly amazed by such force for the first time, he decided to unravel the massive powers still untouched by any race. Even if that takes him to another continent.

Personality: Castiel is a more-than-typical Air person. He is extremely easy-going, loves to explore and is very curious. His dream is to get to another continent once, as he thinks he has already seen everything in VENTUS. He rarely thinks of the consequences of his actions, which has got him into trouble more than once. He also tends to be impatient and thus doesn't plan for things much, but goes in as quick as possible. Other than that, he's very lovable and friendly if you look past his bad attributes. Lastly, he always keeps up with the tech advancements.
Skills: Castiel has excellent agility and he is very quick as well.
Equipment: His trusty backpack, which he always has on his back.

Will do, as soon as I get access to my computer (on phone atm and it's running low on battery). Also, I'll be away for three days starting tomorrow. I'll still have Wifi access, so I'll be able to keep up with the OOC and the IC, but won't be able to post.

Ryan was still looking out of the window when he heard the man asking about some unknown individual who was apparently outside. And really, there was a dark figure moving around just a few meters from them. First he thought it's just another creature, but after watching more closely, it had a completely human form. Who would go out like that at night? he thought. His mind was racing and he quickly concluded that whoever it may be, he or she must be dangerous and probably armed as well. That would explain how the person dares to just walk around like that, not afraid of the horrible creatures.

Takiko asked him if he knew who was out there:
"No, not at all...But he looks dangerous, that's for damn sure." he replied. Even though it seemed he didn't notice them yet, he was way too close. They were in a bleak situation nonetheless and having a seemingly hostile stranger right next to them just made the matters a lot worse. They had a wounded man with them as well, who can't go anywhere on his own, which meant that they were pretty much pinned down in the house. And even if the person won't notice them at all, he's very likely to attract some of these creatures, who are even more fearful, especially in groups. And once they get a scent of them...it's over.

"Oh, for Christ's sake..." he let out a sigh, turning away from the window. Suddenly, the girl turned to him and told him that if he wanted to leave, he was free to go. This statement surprised him a bit, but he knew it wasn't because Takiko was ungrateful or anything, but because she cared for him. However, Ryan has already made a decision. Just like at the basement, he knew that she and the man as well, need his help. And he needs theirs as well.
"I could...but I won't. You have no reason to risk your life either. Nobody here does. We'll stand and fight together, if it's needed." he finally answered as he drew his pistol from its sheath. He felt heroic, but he didn't want to sacrifice himself or anything. It was do or die time and he definitely wanted to do. "What's the plan?"

Alright, lets go over this...Shit, I forgot age. Please insert an age category below race.There are three kinds of floating platform. tiny ones, roughly the size of small cars, large ones, roughly the size of small towns, and huge ones, the size of Alabama. I take it your character climbed up to a large one? Seeing as how the ginormous ones have cities on them, there's ways to get up to those without fancy acrobatics.In the realm of gear, I'm afraid you'll have to deal with lower tech. Nothing more advanced than world war 1 weaponry. Don't worry, you'll get the cool stuff, but not to start with.

I've edited the post, removing (hopefully) all the references to high-tech stuff and also, changing the size of the platform to "medium", so to say. Is that okay to have the fancy acrobatics that way? :P
