It was often Rurian found himself out of bed before the sun was up and back in bed after it went back down, but on this particular day he had slept right through the morning and most likely would have slept the rest of the day away had a bird not tried to detach the tip of his feline tail. While he normally would have been thankful for such a wake up call, he didn't find enjoyment in being lazy and sleeping about as most felines did, but after the previous evening a bit more sleep would have been divine. How often was it that one of the town herbalists mistakenly ate a plant that made them sick? Not very often, that was for sure.

Rurian grumbled loudly as he lightly rubbed the end of his tail between his forefinger and thumb, smearing blood into the soft sandy colored fur that covered the tip of his tail. A frown slowly forms on his features as realization slowly started to hit him, mainly about what he had not gotten to do today and what all he had missed! Another groan escapes Rurian as he turns his gaze downwards, towards the ground. He was still high up in the bright red leafed tree he called home. With a light push he slips easily off of the branch, landing several feet bellow with a nearly silent thud. Slowly he starts to make his way towards the town, still fiddling with the tip of his tail while he walked.

Not only had he missed his class today, he hadn't even been able to make his rounds as he usually did. A twinge of disappointment hit him, he wished the bird had tried to get his tail sooner.
Neaaarly done with mine.
Quick question. If I read all of your first post and the such correctly, magic is a yes? Would something along the lines of being able to control monsters/summon them be acceptable?
"Demons..." Gin muttered under his breath, "Are very cruel monsters." He was still crouched over the edge of the pillow, though just a few moments after Effy stopped talking he finally moved. He sort of half-leaped onto the massive pillow, causing any cats near-by to scatter, his boots slipping off as he moved over towards her. His face went from angry to blank in a matter of seconds as he drew closer, though quickly it returned with a calm, worried expression. It didn't take him long, he quickly set about attempting to grab the vodka from her to set it aside. He wanted to scream, to punch something, to kill a certain demon, but in the end this was all he could do. It was all he felt like he could do at the moment. Had he realized sooner how much terror she had been put through, he might not have stayed around long enough to care for her as he did now. But it was far too late for that, everyone already knew how attached to her he was... Him vanishing now would be utterly pointless.

"Effy..." Gin starts as he attempts to pull the woman into his arms with a firm but reassuring grab. "Its alright, Effy. You are not dirty. Ever." He manages out, clearly just wanting to wrap her in a tight hug and never let go. "Demons are such horrid creatures. A lot of us are horrid creatures... I am so sorry you got dragged into all of this."
EDIT: It double posted for some reason. I'll use this one for my CS later.

Why cant we pet the Unicorns.
Interested.
Gin blinks a bit as Effy spoke. Ah, of course. Micael had done a lot of bad things to a lot of people, human and otherwise. He found himself frowning, brows knitted together as he now looked towards the woman drinking on the over-sized cat pillow rather intently as he spoke. He wasn't sure if he should ask or not, or if he should push the issue... but he was curious. Very curious. And Flauros was no longer here.

"Effy, dear..." Gin starts. "What did he do?" Gin watched her rather carefully now, wondering if he should take the bottle from her within the next few moments or not. If he did that he was sure he'd get an answer and a tantrum, or probably get hit. Maybe all three and some tears. But he shakes his head, he wouldn't be so mean to her, not like that. "What did he do?" Gin repeated, making sure she heard him. Eventually though he dropped off of the chair he was on, now crouching on the edge of the pillow. The cat had finally hopped off of his shoulder and ran off elsewhere, he was now cat free! Though quickly his mind went back to Micael... just what had he done to Effy? Was he the one that caused all this trouble and her hate for magical kind...?
Gin was silent as Effy spoke drunkenly. Gin himself had only take a few sips from the bottle he had grabbed. For Gin, drinking wasn't a way to forget, it was merely for fun. And on top of that, he had to be in the mood for it, which he really wasn't at the moment. Instead he remained sitting in his chair with the cat on his shoulder, holding the still nearly full bottle in his lap. He didn't seem to know what to say exactly, even after she fell back onto the pillow. She basically told him things he already knew, though it was nice to have some reassurance. So as usual, he just nods to her and smiles softly.

Flauros poked his head out of the other room, frowning a bit towards Gin. Though the frown fades quickly as he spots Effy, the human, was seen to be drunk already. He then looked towards Gin once again, a pair of bright yellow cat-like eyes narrowing at him as Flauros finally steps out from the room and closes the door behind him silently. The cats had already all dispersed elsewhere, sleeping, eating, probably in the other room.

"Not drinking much, Gin? I though you lived to get hammered with the humans?" He asked a bit cautiously, taking a few steps towards the large cat pillow. "Anyway. I know what you are here for and I can help you. But you are going to owe me. A lot. Especially since you two are hiding out here at the moment, you know I don't do the whole 'help me I need to hide' crap." Flauros merely began to talk as if Effy wasn't there, probably because she was drunk and likely to pass out soon anyway. "You can stay here until she is sober. That does not mean you keep feeding her drinks, either. I'll be back within the hour, key is under the mat you said, right?"

Gin didn't even have time to reply to Flauros as he promptly takes off back out the door they had all entered from. A soft sigh escapes him as he leans forward a bit in his chair, gazing at Effy. "Ah, I'm really sorry, Effy." Gin blurts out. "I love you a lot, I really do. I probably would have told you sooner if I hadn't found out what had happened before and how badly we scared you." He is quiet a moment as he sets down his bottle by the chair. "And to think all of this could have been avoided if Micael had killed him like he said he would." Another soft sigh escapes Gin as he lightly shakes his head.
