Slight irritation suddenly poked itself at Hide, but he quickly shook it off as some guy playing with some cards spoke up after Grannie J finished talking. Then was followed by another younger looking woman who was a bit too gun happy for her own good, having tossed the nice looking weapon into the air and catching it, only to put it back down. Then again, he couldn't really judge everyone by how they were around the table. What really mattered was how well they fought. On top of that, he was not so sure how he felt about just marching right on in to slaughter all the vampires. While he knew what chaos that vampires could cause, probably better than anyone here, he liked to try to see things from both sides. At least, the best he could.

"While I am all for 'getting off our behinds' and going to slaughter the crazed, are we not even going to worry as to why they drained their normal source of blood? Or if it was even them? I've watched quite a few groups of vampires over the years and none of them have ever just drained their blood sources on purpose."

With that, Hide silenced himself and quickly went to drinking from his glass of orange juice. While not particularly thirsty, it helped him recover a bit faster. In truth, he had a strong dislike for the taste of it, especially the kind with lots of pulp, but no one would ever know it with how often he drank the stuff. One gulp, two, then a third and followed by a fourth, his glass was already half full. He would have continued to drink had he not spotted another hunter approaching. Normally that was not a cause for him to stop drinking, but, the tiger she had with her was another story. Strongly resisting the urge to get up and ask her if it was alright to pet the large feline, he went back to sipping from his glass of orange juice, glancing about at everyone else present.
I think the second one sounds rather interesting.
Hide sat idly by in a far corner seat with a large glass of warm orange juice, watching the normal humans quickly finish what they were doing before they made their leave. It wasn't hard to tell, only those that remained were not of the regular sorts. Marked ones, Seers. Hunters. It seemed he had arrived in town at just the right time, Grannie Ravenwood was getting the meeting started. Though a bit tired from his travels still, he was more curious if this discussion had anything to do with the recent worry of the vampire nest moving. And that alone was enough cause for Hide to move on over to the other table. That and, if Grannie Ravenwood was ushering everyone over, it would be rude not to.

Swiftly he takes a small sip from his large, still nearly full glass of orange juice. He slides himself from out of his chair and grabs his single-strap backpack and tugs it back over his head before grabbing his large glass of orange juice and making his way over to the table in silent, steady strides. Though instead of merely trying to find a seat at the table, he stopped at different one and grabbed one of the chairs and dragged it over. He placed it a few feet from the table and sat down with his drink, so he could be 'in' the conversation but not directly at the table. It was not that he minded people being close, but with how chilly his hands were, he was sure the rest of him was a bit frigid as well, even with his thick jacket on, he was sure someone else would mind. He was use to being cold and it wasn't entirely uncommon for him to always be wearing a jacket or long sleeves, even during the summer months.

Hide lightly bounced his left foot against his chair while he sipped from his glass silently, merely waiting. He saw no need to go blurting anything out at the moment, this discussion could be a number of things. He felt no reason to rush, he still had to finish his glass of orange juice, after all.

Hi. People often call me either Maya, though I'll generally answer to whatever name I am given as long as it is within reason. I am here to look for a few partners for some Rp! It feels like it has been forever since I've had to type one of these up, I feel I am probably messing it up somehow. Oh well.

Side note; PM me! I am having quite a bit of trouble checking threads while on my derpy phone and probably wont be able to check the thread until a later date when I can actually get to a computer. You'll get a much faster reply by PMing me.
Definitely interested. Even with my currently mangled fingers, I'll be able to post at least once a day, or more. I am alright with a posting order, but if it is just a small group, I don't think it will be that big of an issue. At least I hope. o-o;
The red cat snorted a bit. "Fool. I bet you'll eat that rotten tongue of yours." Slowly she turns her pink eyed gaze towards Effy, puffing out her chest somewhat. "I'd just ignore him, honestly. Our lives were never 'purrfect'. If they were, do you really think we'd be here?" Though suddenly the feline moves over towards the fur-less cat, attempting to lightly butt her head against him in a non-aggressive manor.

Flauros slowly exhales, leaning back as he looks up into the dark night sky. There were no stars to twinkle for him this evening and he had the sinking feeling there wouldn't be for a while. Ra would be back, and he would be back with something good, hopefully. Tilting his head from side to side, slowly Flauros turns on the heels of his fancy, expensive shoes before heading back inside. His eyes were still made of flame and his teeth were still all fang. He didn't quite feel the urge to change back, for once. Maybe it would be a good idea to rake his claws against someones skull, or maybe he just wanted someone to scratch between his ears. At any rate, all he had to do was refuse whatever Ra offered and everything would be fine for another twenty years or so. And by then, either the woman would already be dead or maybe Ra would be over his little obsession...

But Flauros had the feeling his first thought would be more accurate. The demon lightly closes the doors behind him as he moves over to the bar, silent as ever, even as several felines move to greet him. Reluctantly he reaches a hand up, snagging a bottle off of the wall with a bit of a sigh. With that, he spins and promptly barges into the room with Gin, Effy, and most of the cats were at.

"Soooooo! I've got some good news and I've got some bad news. Which do you want first? Pick carefully while I open my bottle of apple juice." He purrs out with a fanged grin.

Gin was relatively quiet as the cats and Effy spoke, he seemed to be a bit zoned out, at least until Flauros pushed into the room holding a rather large, dark wine bottle. The demon was spouting something about good news and bad news. Reluctantly he lifted his gaze from Effy, looking to Flauros. Just as he goes to open his mouth though, the demon snaps his fingers. "Ahhhht. Not for you to answer. Effy-lady." The demon then points a clawed finger at her rather expectantly. "Good or Bad."
One of the other cats hissed at the feline, a deep but oddly appealing shade of red with lighter orange stripes. "How is that beautiful? Death is never a pretty thing! We'd have to kill him too." Carelessly the creature tosses her head towards Gin. "Do you really want to deal with that all over -again-? As much as I do not like her she does bring some balance, even you can see it."

Gin was quiet as he listened to the cats, letting out a soft sigh. He had listened to them bicker many times before, but that the moment all he could hope was that Flauros would pull through and do what he always did. While everyone knew better than to trust a demon, Gin had an insanely hard time not too, especially when all the guy had ever done was help him. He didn't think he would give up so easily, at least, he hoped not. Lightly he gripped onto Effy, just shaking his head. "Give him a bit longer..."

Flauros nodded towards Ra, slowly exhaling. Though suddenly the demon pushes himself up, stretching a bit as he moves from his invisible counter. "No use for her, true. But I love watching you squirm in trying to get her. You offer me all these things but I truly have use for no human objects nor any supernatural ones. Hard to bargain with someone who wants nothing from you or anyone else. But how about we strike a deal... I will give you two days to talk with my younger cousin and whomever else you might want to see if you can figure something out that I want, and if you can find something within that time, I will give you the woman AND my shapeshifter to do with as you please." He was quiet a moment as he lightly scratches his chin with claws. "But if you cannot find something with the two days, you must do as I say for... hmmm... twenty years?"
