"A lunatic? well that sounds absolutely intriguing" with a start Harry turned and saw Da Vinci standing next to him. Harry was about to give the artist a tongue lashing when he was interrupted by Da Vinci saying "Pay attention child! It's rude to not give a muse your full attention!" snapping his head back around to Luna. With a smile that he hoped was easy he said "Oh, yes that was quite rude of me, sorry Miss Luna. I'm Harrison Glint. I haven't been introduced to anyone else that's like me so I'm not sure what I should be described as. I've taken a liking to the name "Shattered". I relive the past through the medium of objects..." pausing to give Da Vinci a glare, "Miss Luna, about this party. Since you are the Secretary you wouldn't happen to know any specifics would you? I'm a little confused about it all this."

Da Vinci tapping Harry on the shoulder asking "Can you ask her to model a portrait for me? It will be great for your lessons" rubbing his temples Harry silently cursed and whispered and him "No Leo! I'm not going to ask her, we've only just met and it would be impolite! Just remember for later if you have to. Honestly you're as bad as Frankie sometimes! Now back off, it's a bit weird having you here looking over my shoulder eavesdropping." Picking up his apple Harry took a bit bite to stop himself raging further at the artist.
It's 12:47 in the morning and I'm just about to nod off, so see you later. Hope my post isn't too bad. Night!
Harrison was listening to the Vice Principal, but then his hand brushed his wrist watch and all of a sudden Sinatra was talking to him. "This is boring, kid. Let's leave. Let's go back to Vegas!"
With a sigh Harry looked up where Frank was standing above him "I can't Frankie something important might be said, besides if I do go back I want to be Danny Ocean again. That was hilarious!" Sinatra pulled a face that told Harry to never bring up Oceans Eleven again "See? It gets a bit annoying when you keep on asking for the same thing, besides, I haven't done that duet with Elvis yet, so stop just talking about Vegas."

When Harrison finally refocused on the speech some guy was talking about a party and bringing friends. "Hey Frankie do you think they would count you if I bring you? You're a fun guy." With a raised eyebrow Frank said "Kid, I'm in your head" that made Harry a little sad "Frank, just cause you're in my head, doesn't mean you're not real."

With all the talking done, Harry made his exit and decided to go get some food. "Kid, get some friends that not only you can see. If I wasn't basically an echo of a really awesome and cool guy, I would think you were crazy." As Frank said that, their heads follow as a girl floats by on a rock. "Don't worry Kid, you'll fit right in" with a pat on Harry's shoulder Frank Sinatra dissipated into thin air leaving Harry to wander around and make his way to the cafeteria.

Harry took longer than he expected finding the cafeteria and even longer then to pick something that wouldn't send him in a backward spiral of terrible memories. He got an apple, fruit is generally pretty safe. Spying the hovering rock lady in the corner, Harry approached. His mind still buzzing about the floating rock. Using the vast array of memories he had access to he couldn't find a good way to bring up the subject. Tapping the ring on his right hand saw him going back to one of Houdini's performances and followed him as he went through calming techniques. Dragging himself back to the present, Harry sat across from the lady, placing his lone apple in front of him and being careful not to touch anything else.

Gathering his nerve and focus, not wanting to fade out during the conversation, Harry decided the direct route might be best "Hi, miss. Do you mind if I ask you a question? I saw you before floating on by and was wondering what the cause of that was?" folding his hands in front of him above the apple, he waited.
Alright, just edited so that the power is restricted to dead objects, no life, no animation.
Okay, this is a bit rough, but it should give you an idea. Let me know of any big changes I need to make :)

His bright green irises are 'shattered' hence the race name. Imagine a plate dropped straight down, cracks lancing out from the center, but still roughly circular.
Name: Harrison Glint
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species/Race: Shattered, a being able to glimpse the past though objects.
Powers:
-Fall back: able to see the history of any object he touches. Limited to objects that are dead. He can see the past of the wheat that made the bread, but not the past of a rose still growing.

-Channel: Able to commune with people who had a strong affinity with an item (i.e. say he finds a lucky charm of Napoleon, Harrison would be able to have a talk with Napoleon as if he was standing next to him). Harrison usually tries to find things owned by interesting people. Harry tends to learn from these people and has collected them accordingly.

Weaknesses: able to see the history of any object he touches, sometimes unable to not see it's history. It's a pain when Harry wants a burger or something. Kleptomaniac, Harry tends to collect and accidentally borrow forever knick knacks and odd bits and pieces.

Personality: Harry has lived a few lives through the eyes of others in his short 17 years, and this sometimes causes him to act like a very old man. Things sometimes confuse him and he forgets where he is, other times he absently is staring into space and is watching something from eras ago. Sometimes he looks like he's talking to himself, but he's actually talking to Houdini who is trying to teach him how to escape hand-cuffs, or is fiddling with a brush Da Vinci used and is learning to paint with. Harry has trouble holding conversations, but will try his hardest to maintain it.

Background: Harry was almost immediately placed in an insane asylum when he was born. Talking to yourself generally makes you a freaky kid, but when you say "Houdini taught me how to pick locks" people get a little concerned. Then you make a little statue of David in preschool, then things get really bad when you find some old Bruce Lee nun-chucks and beat someone half to death with them at the age of six. Yeah, a normal life has always been out of the question for Harry. Harry wandered, traveling the world as a little homeless kid. Hitching rides, performing tricks and picking pockets became natural life. Things got weird when he picked one pocket of a tall man that opened a whole new world for Harry. For a brief instance he understood magic and how is held the world together... and then it was gone. In his hand was a note saying that if he wanted to not see a dead cow every time he ate a steak he should go to Athalia Academy. So he did, along with Houdini, Da Vinci, Alexander the Great and Frank Sinatra all in the form of memories from assorted bits and pieces.

Study: Piano, Art and Cooking. Also History, Harry could probably teach it if you took him to an antique store.

Are HM's a thing? I know what you've said about TM's, but what if we find a spindly tree blocking our path? Or a river to be crossed?
Is this still a thing that I can join?

though I suppose if that's not allowed I could play a Byakko, or something similar.

Isn't that the great white tiger of the west Bai Hu? Well that's what he is in Chinese mythology anyway

No, I'm going to have to say no to Cryptids. When I say mythological I don't necessarily mean only those creatures that appear in mythology. I was thinking along the lines of creatures from mythology AND fantasy lore.

Thanks for clarifying! I asked about Cryptids mainly because a Kelpie is also known as a Water Horse and the Loch Ness Monster is, among other things, considered by some to be a modern day water horse.
my understanding of Golems is that they are commonly animated clay, shaped roughly like a man (basically an old, magically powered, robot). Anyway, I'm interested, maybe as a Kelpie. Edit: Would you allow Cryptids? Or strictly a creature with a mythology behind it?
