Spells in the Dark (18+ For dark and suggestive themes: Join the witches or the hunters and they circle each other in a bleak world on the edge of annhilation. Can they come together long enough to hold back the great dark? Or will they fall to the void?

Various 1x1's: I love the flexibility of a two person story. Group RPs will always have my heart, but they can be difficult to get off the ground. Feel free to PM me with any ideas you may have. I generally post once per week minimum and like high-casual to advanced as far as quality is concerned.

Hi! I'm a twenty five year old lesbian with alot of time on her hands! I've been role playing for about ten years now, although I'm new to the play by post format. I'm a pathfinder and Chronicles of Darkness veteran and still play with my group most weekends.
I'm generally pretty easy to get along with. My biggest pet peeves are:
Not informing me if you'll be away for an extended period of time. A PM or something in the OOC will do nicely. I understand life kicks all of us once in awhile, but try not to leave me hanging.
Negative people. We all get down, and that's fine. Happiness, however, is an outlook. I don't mind spending time cheering up a friend when they're usually a cheerful person. Optimism is a hell of a thing folks.
Metagaming. For obvious reasons. This has been the downfall of many a fun 'secret' plot. I usually opt for transparency, and like to surprise characters more than players. Metagaming makes that difficult.
Things I'll love you for:
Enthusiasm! This is the driving force behind any RP. When players and the GM are excited magical things can happen.
Adding to the world. I like a fleshed out world. Often times I'll leave things ambiguous so players can add to it with backstory or anything really.
Hatching your own subplot. The 'main' plot isn't the only thing going on right? Write me a story about some characters getting into hijinks. It gives the RP an organic feel that can't really be replicated otherwise.

@sakurasan Added. I'm excited!
@sakurasan I like her being unable to control certain people, instead being limited to basic emotional influence, I.E. she can make them feel happy, but can't make them like her. Also I figured as Alex gets closer to someone it also gets harder to ensure her powers do what she wants (or only what she wants.)
@sakurasan I just added one. Also if you had any suggestions for a weakness I'd love to hear your input.

Back ground: Veli has forgotten more of her life than she remembers. As scatter-brained as she may seem she's also a master wizard, she has enemies and friends is high places and low ones. Veli often suspects that the missing portions of her memory are linked to some trauma, but can't be bothered to find out. Delving into the arcane has taught her intimately that some things are better left forgotten
Talents: Research, Cheering people up
Magic: Summoning. Veli has over the course of her life collected the names of and made pacts with minor spirits, demons, angels, and great old ones alike. When she calls they answer, she just doesn't always like the price.
Magic 2: Enchantment. Veli is always researching new formulae for binding magic into objects, generally speaking even she's often unaware of what she has in her pockets, a doomsday weapon? probably not, but maybe a box that opens a portal to the infinite plane of chickens. She also rarely asks permission from her friends before enchanting their gear.
Magic 3: Elemental Destruction. One simply doesn't attempt to make contact with the entities that veli has without carrying something dangerous. Veli has become adept over the years at creating destructive displays of elemental power.
Magic 4: Protection Spells. Enemy attacks are much more tolerable when they miss, or hit giant mana walls. Enemy spells are better when countered. And houses are safer when warded against evil.
Weapon: Staff and Ring. Focus objects for her elemental magic, without them she finds it difficult to finely control those spells.
Profession: Hedge Wizard. Veli is experienced with most types of magic from divination to transmutation, and sells her services from her small shop across the street from the treasure chest. She of course also sells magic items on commission

Pets: Sousiel, Veli's familiar is a black cat with the ability to take on a cat-girl guise when needed. Calm and reliable Sousiel is probably the reason Veli's able to function on a day to day basis.
