Come on Hellis, if you can't find the motivation to post for your own RP you can't really expect anyone else too.

I'm probably coming off as even more of an asshole than usual, but even for advanced some momentum is necessary, especially at the start when things are supposed to be fresh and interesting.

Sorry guys, but, a lot of shit in one short period of time has come up. A lot of very real, very deeply seeded emotional shit. Some shit that if I don't resolve it properly will affect me for the rest of my damned life.I'm sorry, y'all, but I'm dropping out.

Fair enough.

I'll remain on stand-by until someone finishes their opponent.

I know this wasn't really directed toward me. But it just kinda takes me a while to really get into the proper mindset to write and get a good groove going. I need to set aside a good amount of time for me to warm up and get my creative juices flowing before I crank out a post.Anyway, I cranked out a post, coincidentally. I hope you guys like it.

Yeah, I know a lot of people are like that.

I can honestly say I've never had that problem though, I think I have a knack for just rolling out posts regardless of mind-set, perhaps because I'm not naturally creative I don't need to wait for inspiration. It's sometimes easy to forget other people work differently.

Uh... Guys?

What's up friendo?

And LeeRoy, I honestly don't mind, I'm in no particular hurry.
I wonder what it would be like being so busy that I couldn't muster thirty or so minutes for a post.

That would be terrible.

Yeah, fuck keepinventory. Even the death chests thing is lame, because there's no risk of losing your items.Risk of loss is all part of survival mode. If you want to play without any risk, go play creative.

If you were dying because you genuinely suck, this is true, but honestly I died maybe three times over the course of playing that server, all during lag-spikes you can do absolutely nothing about.

It was unplayable IMO (at least, in terms of what I enjoy doing in MC) keep inventory might be the only thing to offset crippling lag deaths.
Now, evidentially Mik's movements had been quick enough to avoid his first and only shot, and the demon watched it whistle over the spider-like beings right shoulder and off into the darkness. The Demonspawn was relatively young and inexperienced, but to a demon such descriptors still denoted years of war and battle. In all those years though Azarak had yet to fight a multiple limbed opponent, and the experience was certain to be interesting.

The momentum of drawing a gun with his right hand had the effect of straightening up his body to face the spider who was now hastily approaching his left side with a two pronged attack. With little time to spare, despite the apparent lack of ferocity the spider exhibited, Azarak refused to give up ground and used the closest weapon he had to hand. The pistol, failing in its purpose to end the fight quickly at range was now to serve as a blunt instrument, in Azarak's experience far more useful in close proximity.

Skipping to the right and forward on his right foot, he pivoted around as much of his opponent's attack as possible, receiving a glancing blow to his left hip for his trouble while his left hand jumped up to block the higher strikes with his forearm. The move was fluid, as one would expect from a pacey, dangerous opponent like the Demonspawn. So as he blocked -most- of his opponent's attack the pistol whipped around and the grip of the weapon hurtled towards Mik's left shoulder, as close to the neck as was possible, a stunning strike on any human. Should it land Azarak was soon to learn if mutant spider-people were equally effected by sharp blows with blunt metal weapons to their nervous system.
Yeah, that's how I saw it, as long as its 1v1 it really doesn't matter, unless you want fights to spill into each other and shit like that.
Fuck it, it was worth a shot, but this guy wasn't going for the distraction, hell he hadn't even listened to his question.

With all his super-natural speed, the hand clasped around the weapon suddenly whipped forward and in less than a second he had a fully loaded revolver pointed at his multiple-armed and surprisingly acute quarry. The weapon bucked in his hand as he fired his first shot, slightly off to the right of Mik's center of mass, to be expected after taking aim and shooting so quickly.

He wasn't sure if he would need a second shot. A human professional would have fired a few more times, then again, a human would be shooting a human. Hell, it wasn't even clear as of yet if he would get to fire a second shot, better to let his first action do its work and react accordingly.
Joshua barely had a moment to take in the other proprietors, only managing a slight nod of acknowledgement towards an archer named Radan he recognised as a fellow new-blood, before he was taken aback by a loud shout from one of the tables.

Unconsciously almost, he shook himself and adrenaline started pumping, then his glance caught the Orch who had called him and his stance relaxed -a little- though a slight twitch of contempt marked his features. It was hard to shake off years of xenophobia over the course of a year after all. His hand rose and he pointed at himself questioningly, then assuming it was indeed him that was being verbally accosted by the Orch he began to walk over. It was one who he had heard tales about but couldn't quite remember the name of, which was always awkward in a first encounter. Then again, it was possible the Orch wasn't even interested in pleasantries, and the more he thought about it the more the large human figured that was likely to be the case.

"What's up?" He asked cautiously, either looking down at the Orch without getting too close to the table if he remained seated or attempting to look him in the eye if he stood to greet the priest. Joshua wasn't exactly the hyper-observant type, but he couldn't help but notice how heavy the Orch's breakfast was.

He didn't quite puff himself up, but he allowed his stance to remain rigid and controlled, ensuring he was at his full height as he regarded the Orch, trying not to show weakness, he was treating him like any other potential fighter at a tavern. Hopefully he wasn't going to have to employ any of his new hand-to-hand skills, if that turned out to be the case he was definitely screwed.
