HeySeuss, I notice your god is the patron of study and study ;D
I'm more than happy to cover a deity devoted to Debauchery.
To be fair, that excuse would be a lot more plausible if you weren't posting right now that you're getting error messages when you check in.

You could have hit ctrl v and been done, unless you honestly write all your posts in the crappy white boxes.
Heh, seems interesting and I'm under subscribed at the moment with tonnes of free time, keeping an eye on this.

The Archivist sped past with swordsman-like grace, his sword cleaving a vicious arc to scrape the armour of his foe’s lower body. Strangely, though she seemed to flinch back from the blow the real damage of the attack was not noticeable. Simultaneously however, he heard a grunt and the dying rattle of the Archer to his left, blood spurting from his body as if he were instead struck by the spider’s attack.

“Interesting.” The Archivist muttered, instead turning immediately to face his foe roughly five feet away, he waited by the boulder. Quickly, he summarised the link between the lack of damage he inflicted on his target, and the unexpected death of the minion. They were connected, he should have guessed, the information would be important in the ensuing battle of that he had no doubt.

His lower hands came together, rolling and spinning together as a strange substance began to form between them. His sword was held in a ready stance, as was his shield, he strafed slowly rightward, circling his foe, moving away from the obstructing boulder so his back was once again towards the road.
Meh, I might as well post some light damage, see if that spurs some posting, the NPC will take all the damage anyway.

Does this mean my post was deemed acceptable then?

Sorry, I've been a bit slow as of late, honestly it took me some time to work out how the Vertex was placed (and I'm still not entirely sure I've wrote it correctly, but I guess this will serve.)
His staff bounced off the strange magical wall with a resounding crunch, and he was carried past by the movement. He had not expected it to be easy, but this was unexpected to say the least and he was a little off-balance in his turn. Unsurprising, really, that the human had time to erect another defence before his staff could whirl back around with his turn, crunching again into the invisible field rather than his comparably fragile foe. The Troll snarled, only a few feet from his foe his visage was for the first time revealed, and it was a terrible one.

Realising the shield was at an angle, Jaldoa stepped nimbly to the left and swept his staff across with him, unleashing a barrage of quick spinning and jabbing blows towards his foe’s body, moving quickly to probe for weak points and to potentially overwhelm his defences, whatever they should be.
