That bear is no Evvie. Now that's a character you feel sorry to kill. But at the same time want to. :k

Well, the Clockwork Man seemed remorseful, as he snapped her neck.

I read the post and here's the key points:Skallagrim: Rather they were headed for the bubble-bodied bear who was slurping up the dead. Gritting his teeth and making sure that the Fireen was below him as they rammed into the backend of the large wobbly bear. Skallagrim: In either case the whole lot of them would feel the impact as the two men raced into the bear at nearly 1,500 miles per hour. You: If that were the case, his powerful blast may have put him into a superior position for their imminent collision, but instead he was only half done with the revolution when suddenly the duo ploughed into a bear.>Plowing into the back end of Sukoh. What part of this am I incorrect in?

No, you're taking key points which are characters thoughts, obviously embellished.

Come back with the parts where we state what actually happens, such as the General aiming to scrape the Fireen off as he flew -past- the bear, obviously not straight into it.

And Fury spinning enough so that both of them would potentially -scrape- into the bear.

You're probably the first person who decided to look into a post and take more damage than necessary for no apparent reason.

Heh, I did notice it transformed from trying to scrap you off into power slam into his ass, I thought he did it on purpose to make a funny. Also I found the melon rants of old to be better. Much more longer winded and hilarious.

I figured the same thing, LeeRoy was attempting to make us feel bad for his long suffering bear.

Unfortunately, I don't give two shits about giant bears, and neither does Fury. Stupid giant bear.

-rant

Except it didn't all transfer forwards, Fury glanced off his side (well, technically his back, but he bounced off to one side), it's like you didn't even read the post, which is altogether possible. You had to guess what the General did, but considering Skallagrim said he was having him fly through a bank vault, you can expect something similar from him.

Hell, even Skallagrim's post made it quite clear we weren't hitting the giant bear dead centre, as he aimed to just slice Fury off, as Fury was hanging below him at the time.

Nice rant though.

I find the merc hired to kill everyone on a planet a good bit ridiculous. I mean that place is a no go for anything short of high characters it seems.

Yeah, that's a terrible story line.

I called it out ages ago as well, who the hell would want Necropolis, un-populated or not.

You see nothing ridiculous about being curb stomped by a character half his size. You see nothing ridiculous about shooting a bear in the face for looking at you. You see nothing ridiculous about violently slamming the face of a bear into concrete. You really see nothing ridiculous about that?

No, I'm an infinitely logical being.

A giant bear is nice, but it's still just a giant bear, it had no right to defeat the turtle in the exact situation where the turtle dominates. It was your choice to make a massive but tactically unsound and stupid bear.

Fury used the equivalent of a 'shoo' motion to a fly, while also probing the bears strengths in case he later had to fight it. He's also crazy, and killed a bunch of random innocents, there's nothing remotely ridiculous about that.

As for face planting the concrete, that made very little logical sense to me, but it's your decision how you want your character to be injured when he gets hit by incredibly fast people. Considering his size, it made more sense that Fury (with his bubble shield) would just glance off and bounce away, essentially leaving the bear with a bruise at most. The amount of force Fury would somehow have had to generate (and also transfer) to launch a massive bear face first into the ground would be immense.

That's why I wished we had gone with that faction idea Alpha had, with some tweaks. lack of conflict is probably what dried up most of the other Omniverses.

No, fickle people dried up most of the other Omniverses.

The problem I think is no one seems to realize that story is still important to Arena, especially in a multiverse setting, so they don't engage their character properly. Therefore they get bored of them quickly, scrap them, make new ones, and then give up.

I really don't understand why people love making characters in a complete form more than they like actually using them, and forming some history which is 'real'.

*Points to Sukoh, and then points to the ridiculous treatment of Sukoh.*I wonder why.

Ridiculous how?

1. Tried to stop the evil invasion, obviously evil curb-stomped him because he's just a bear.

2. Dropped into an Alternate Earth, annoyed Fury (who will kill anyone for very little reason, so he was lucky to get away with a warning.) and then starts immediately eating the dead. How was General Freedom supposed to take that?

I'm fairly certain that all his treatment has been fair, as much as you can judge in such a surreal situation.

Honestly, I'd prefer if we had some comic relief. Who wants a band of stoned faced adventurers? Every party needs a jester.

I'm a big advocate of comic relief, in moderation.

Though there was this one time where I ate this planet, and all hell broke loose.

Cause the 'hero's are doing jack shit. In fact I think out characters aere doing more to help innocent people. yet Skalla still says there are to many good guys.

Well, your death cultists have kidnapped some Mystans and Fury has murdered some people having a picnic in a park, but other than that we're doing splendid.

In theory though there's mostly just an abundance of grey area characters. No one likes to play a hero these days.
