I might as well add Ixion's sheet here so that the first post has a reference. I've worked out the kinks with his descriptions, relations, equipment and the footnotes. Once I've had dinner, I'll be working on his Bio and Magic abilities to be what they were before:

EDIT 1: This is now done.

EDIT 2: Added information relating to events occurring during battle in Zerul City.
Name: Ixion Ecthalion

Age: 29

Race: Human

Sex: Male

Occupation: Spy/Assassin

Appearance:

Ixion is a small person for a man, his stature being about 5'6”. His entire body seems to be constructed to the form that only his profession would desire. He is very lithesome in shape, but the majority of the bulk that he does have has been slightly enhanced by the armour that he wears. While the lower half of his face, up onto his nose, is completely covered, the parts that are uncovered show a long scar that runs over his right eye, the extent of it being covered with his cowl and another one across the bridge of the nose that is still visible. The one thing that makes him stand out (apart from his clothing) is the sharp, dark slate grey eyes that pierce through, making him every in menacing. EDIT 1: When he is on a warpath against an enemy, the most notable when he was facing Blue in Zerul City, he reveals the rest of his face underneath the cowl, which itself reveals nothing but scarred tissue due to an attack in his past. While the majority of his face still has flesh so he is able to talk to people, there are a few patches where damaged bone, especially on the jawline, is exposed. The scarring, while the full extent has yet to be revealed, has been observed to extend down his neck.

His apparel is one that is highly suited for the tasks at hand. His armour is light, yet allows him to be flexible and enables him to be adequately covered from any form of attack. On top of his head is a crimson hood, a metal crest that has three wide prongs being on the brow of his head adorned with sunstones. The lower half of his face is completely covered by a black, breathable fabric. The pauldrons, breastplate (and the brigandine that it covers), greaves, sabatons and faulds are ornate and crafted with absolute perfection, the crimson armour being lined with a few gold lines. His gauntlets are crafted and made with a dyed crimson leather, with only a brass outline, which covers the protecting the edges, which aren't a part of his gloved end, from fraying. His entire legs are completely unarmoured and are covered with a dark crimson fabric, as is the parts of the arms that are not covered by the gauntlets. There is a belt that runs around his waist that allows him to carry on the basic of needs (coinpurse, straps to tie his weapon down and small bags that keeps other menial things that he needs while on the job).

Personality:

Ixion, while he is very loyal to those he is under contract or deems as friends, takes on a taciturn and reserved nature, rarely speaking out to those he is around. Even with those who are close to him, he only speaks a few words due to events in his past (which will be revealed during the course of the RP) making it very difficult for him to do so. Because of this, he has a very unusual sense of alertness about him, making him able to notice things that are around him a lot easier. Also because of the lack of him talking that he is able to think more, meaning that he is able to think tactically on what needs to get a possible job done. Because of this behaviour, he is very methodical and able to deal with things one at a time, whether it is looking at a puzzle that he needs to solve or planning his next move when he is in the heat of combat.

EDIT 1: Since he arrived in Zerul City, he has been more vocal to people he has met, despite his injuries. Whether this is due to him being more agitated due to a hit he performed in the city or some other means, but he has also become more hostile as a result of this, not only with people asking about his abilities. Another thing that has been noted, with events leading to Blue's demise, he has shown to be honourable man. From what has been observed, he does not like the idea on his opponents being killed by another hand and will honour their valiant efforts by taking down their executioner.

Biography:

Ixion was born in a village somewhere in Rodoria. Immediately after his birth, his mother had complications shortly after his birth and had died as a result of this. He had been raised by his father, a simple fisherman that had attracted a moderate sized amount of fish, but was easily extorted out of the correct price that the catch should be attracting by the merchants that pass through it. While his father was at work, the small Ixion spent time skirting around the village foraging for food just to keep them fed for the next day. By the time he was five, due to trying to stand up and raise the price on the fish, one of the merchant's thugs had trashed the stall that his father sold his fish from (subsequently, the place they were living in as well was brought to a smouldering ruin) and had beheaded his father in the process, throwing the dead body in the fire. Up until he was 14, he had been sleeping between the ruins of his house and various houses of the village. When he thought he was old enough, he simply left the village and walked 50 miles from it to Anaxim City in prospects that his life would get better as a result.

These prospects didn't happen and had to learn how to survive on the streets, resorting to stealing food from stalls whenever he can or scrounge for any household waste in hope that there is something edible. It wasn't long before he learned how to survive on the streets, ranging from getting from one place to another by any means to throwing knives. He learned how to read and write from a man he would consider his master and, through him, got into contact into how to defend himself with multiple weapons. When he was 20, he took up a life of a thug and earned money to buy his own kama, a weapon he decided to use for close combat. He then traveled to Anaxim forest and, after cutting down a thick enough branch off an ebony tree, fashioned a handle he would be proud of. With this, he decided to put it into good use on a crimson caravan.

Relations:

Because he has been orphaned since he was very little, he doesn't have a lot of things to hold on to. He sees this as an advantage as no one would be able to use them against him.

Physical Abilities:

As he was learning how to defend himself on the streets of Anaxim city, he had grown accustom to being able to use every possible arsenal that the ancient art has, ranging from longswords to the spears, albeit not very proficiently. However, when he had started to use the kusarigama, he immediately synced with the weapon and allowed him to specialize in it through a rigorous course of kusarigamajutsu, eventually leading him to use the weapon as a main weapon in choice, sacrificing his ability to wield all weapons bar his throwing knives. His knife throwing is also another ability that he is proficient in, the skill he has trained for the longest. He often hits his target, but he can still miss. However, with the use of some magic, he can attempt to make sure that his knives reach their mark

Along with this, he was trained in the arts of stealth. This ranged from allowing him to vault from one rafter of the building to another without making any sounds to allow him to walk up on people without being detected. As a result of this stealth training, he is very agile on his own feet, allowing him to dodge oncoming melee attacks in near-blinding speeds and able to counteract in those sorts of speeds as well. However, in training in stealth and the ability to bring down enemies in a short space of time, he does not have the endurance to keep up with the energy needed for him to perform these feats. This lack of stamina plus the frailty in his strength, he becomes very prone to fights that last over the course of tens of minutes. This can certainly be a problem for him if he loses his kusarigama, either through breakage, loss via environmental hazards or blocked by numerous enemies, and using up all of his throwable items.

Mental Abilities:

As he has been trained to be a spy and/or infiltrator, he has the ability to manipulate any of the buildings that he encounters so that he could gain access to a few compounds without prior knowledge. Prior to an incident that caused him to be almost mute, he was able to communicate in various languages and dialects, allowing him easy access through the front door if entry by other means is not possible. Despite his now inability to communicate by word, he still retains the knowledge of those languages and is able to read through some documents without immense difficulty. This also ties in with a very quick mental agility, allowing him to scan through things and note their importance in the scene with regards to the task at hand, whether it be for usability for entrance or exits from the place he is in or noticing things for various puzzles.

Magical Abilities:

The first of his abilities, which can take a variable amount of energy, is creating multiple images of himself in the target's mind. The target does not realize that the person unless they are aware through their other senses, but the images that they see are real. This, despite the cost being little, allows Ixion to cast this spell at multiple enemies so that they are distracted while taking care of those unaffected (around 4-5 people are afflicted for a period of 10-15 minutes if the targets are easily manipulated by magic). Often, with the use of another magical ability, he can time the images in his mind to disappear when he appears in person, inciting fear into the target.

Another one of his abilities, where the magical need is greater than the illusion magic he knows, is a slight manipulation of his throwing knives, controlled with the use of motions that, with a moderate amount of energy, allow him to control his knives in mid-air if it misses the first time. However, as this takes a fair amount of energy, he can only afford to do this once or twice and still have enough energy to carry on fighting at an efficient capacity (if you want perspective to how many times he can do this before he becomes completely exhausted, it’s at least 5-7 times).

Finally, the most complex ability that he knows, though it seems to other people that he has done the impossible, is to teleport from one location to another. While most people perish from using the ability once, he is able to use it multiple times without any form of fatigue on his person. Despite the magic being powerful, he is limited to using it in close to mid ranges from his original location. Along with that, he also has to see that there is no obstacles in his final destination and have the location of his destination in his mind in order for him to teleport to another location. However, with his quick mind and having a good observational skills to keep the environment around him in mind, he is able to do this in a split-second to maximize his abilities.

Equipment:

The one weapon that he has particularly taken an interest in, therefore particularly mastered in, is the kusarigama. It is a kama, or a sickle, that has a chain with a heavy weight on the end of it. The ornate weapon that he has been given has the kama being over 1 ½ of the length of his forearm and a blade about the same size of the limb (with the wrist, hand and fingers added to the length as well). The chain itself is over 2.5m longs and the weight is substantial enough that it can be felt by anyone of any sort of stature with the force that he puts into it. The chain itself is very light so he is able to carry the weapon around without sapping his own strength, but strong enough so he is able to wrap the chain around any weapon that he needs to remove without breaking. The entire thing is completely black in appearance, albeit the edges of the blade, which is honed with a glaring silver that pierces through the darkness.

Another set of weapons that he has in his arsenal is a small cache of shurikens that he uses to remove his disadvantage at ranges that are beyond the range of his main weapon. While to the ordinary eye, but they have a darker appearance to them with the thanks of the shadow magic that is imbued within them. This, alongside his ability to manipulate the shadows without difficulty, allows him to manipulate the trajectory of the thrown weapons so that they are able to be more accurate against their intended target.

Footnote:

As an assassin for hire, he is able to assassinate anyone that people can hire for a low price. Due to his low price and his efficiency, he has been known to assassinate merchants and a few noblemen in the Duchies. When he is not hired to do anything, he kills members of the Death Clan and the Crusader’s Guild.

This area I will be using to add some of the detail that is not mentioned in the above sections as the RP

@Merc: The crawlers and spiders appear to have missed a page in unison just to spite me. The next several pages are there. The previous several pages are there. Page 324 of the OoC (roleplayerguild.com/showthread.php%3f82292-The-Prophecy-OOC-Epic-High-Fanatasy-Adventure/page324), where Ixion's sheet was, is absent...

Damnation. Looks like I have to redo the CS in that case. Luckily I have the original sheet that I had submitted before I had to redo the entire character so he could be in Proph, so I'm not working from scratch.

M3
It looks like I didn't have Ixion's final CS saved on any of my computers. Did you manage to obtain it when backing the OoC, Shien?

M3
That's cool :) If we can get one or two more interests, then I can get the RP set up and characters could be created.

M3
Now that I am finally back home and internet is working. I'm here to let everyone know that I'm still here and still able to run with Ixion (will need to find his character sheet again in the meantime). It's good to see everyone again :)

And with the way the forum is restarting, I might start up one of my RPs and see what happens from there.

EDIT: As far as I am aware, I honestly don't mind where Prophecy will be hosted.

M3
That is absolutely fine by me :) As mentioned, the plot info in the first post was the first iteration of the plot overall but has since been updated. This is what the updated plot looks like:

Plot said In the beginning, there were the Ancients. They, both of them created from the same being that time has all but forgotten, were both held responsible for creating the planet Gelbaron. The Light Ancient, representing life and everything is good, set about creating all life that is on there through their own births. The Dark Ancient, representing Death and everything that is dire, carved the landscape and defined every living thing's life span. When both of them worked together, they created the laws of the world, the natural progression of evolution and then formed a mystical force that represented their essence: magic. Once the world was completed, they both had sworn an oath that their balance as opposite sides of a coin and not interfere with the balance that they had created, making sure that whatever one does, the other does something to restore balance. They have both agreed to this and allowed each other to work to their own roles for thousands of eons.

However, seeing as the world they had created just floating around in their existence and remaining ever so dull for such a long time, the Dark Ancient decided to seize the power of the world for himself and ridding the higher planes of his sister. Looking onto the world, he had planned for years in order for him to control the world and cast the Light Ancient into Limbo. During this time, he poured nearly all of his essence into 20 spheres of pure evil. He created a spell that, depending on the attempts that he needed to gain full control of the world, would allow him to use 4, 6 or 10 of these orbs in order of attempts to gain control of both the planet and the higher planes. Before the Light Ancient had a chance to realize her brother was attempting, he cast them down from his platform onto the different continents of the world.

Knowing that the oath that they agreed to was broken and something needed to be done to restore balance, the Light Ancient had, with the use of her Light Aura, created a spell and cast it onto 20 random people, hoping that this spell will then create the perfect method to balance the acts the Dark Ancient had created. These people, along with their descendants or objects that have their blood, would then have the purpose of destroying these orbs, with the destruction consuming the living essence of the person or object. Whether these people would realize their own destiny or not is something that only time could tell. As the spell was cast, the Dark Ancient looked on helplessly as his plans were being distorted by this revelation. While he had done everything that he could to prevent his plans from failing with causing disruption that would, hopefully, destroy these Disciples of Light, a lone man walks into the Head of Celbaron in order to search for materials to create more things for his forge. Along with some ore that contained the magical mineral Talunite, he came across 4 rocks of perfection. Picking them up and feeling the weight of them, the man, Callelotte, turns and walks away to travel back home to the islands - now called the Unforgiven Islands.

Years have passed since the Light and Dark Ancients plans were set into motion and many wars, ranging from the Schism of the Conuence Empire to the War of 3 Continents, have claimed the lives of many living beings, including the lives of the Disciples and their Descendants. Everything has been silent for many years, despite some skirmishes. However, something lurks in the unknown future and a storm is brewing over in the Amroth Mountains and the Werepyre Mountains. Another evil voice, known to those as Lord Sacremento, is scouring the lands in search of things that were long forgotten, causing destruction in its wake to a name that no one knows or understand.

He leads these minions of darkness, consisting of Werepyres and people of the desert to beseige the seats of the two empires of power, Conuence and Terrubane. The Conuence Empire, a long-established empire of power, fends its boarders with futility, with the loss of Berenol and the losing skirmishes of Qucndel on their front and gathering its strengths in the capital to fight them off. Towards the Terrubane Empire, the evil forces have overtaken Chaldon with ease and have spread rapidly upwards to the walls of the Beacon of Hope. The only thing that stands in the way of this evil force and the downfall of this empire are a handful of brave warriors. However, unbeknownst to them, their fates are intertwined to adventures across many continents, expanding many years and forging a legend for themselves.

Hopefully this is more than enough to satisfy you :)

As RPG was one of my pinned tabs on my browser, I have noticed that it is back up and running. And lo and behold, I return. My username is the same as before (Mercinus3) :)

Plot

It was only a few hundred years ago did an undeniable evil emerge from both the Amaroth Mountains and the ‘Werepyre Mountains’, and started to spread throughout the world. Chaldon and Qucndel were the first civilized cities that had fallen to this evil and Berenol was under siege by it.

Terrubane, the capital of Gelbaterron, also fell under siege by the Werepyres, but it still stands, with thanks to a band of mercenaries repelling the evil from their city. Ever since the Siege of the Scourge, Terrubane has been known as the Capital of the world and the Beacon of Hope.

However, in these dark days, the Werepyres, under the lead of an unknown man called Lord Sacremento, managed to wipe nearly all of the mercenaries out, and completely destroyed Terrubane. Only a flicker of hope is left on the backs of the few mercenaries left. However, the burden to restore peace throughout Gelbaron… rests on the shoulders of the few…

Welcome to my RP. This is the RP Scrolls of Gelbaron: The Forsaken Saga. The story is a plot for a future series of books in the distant future. It is a High-Fantasy with elements of technology set in an original world which is called Gelbaron.

As always, post here if you are interested and, hopefully, an OoC will be posted in the future :)

P.S: I'm using the oldest iteration of the plot as the blurb above. Please disregard any grammatical errors that are on it :)
