I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)

Rozalia offered up a thankful smile for Krios' advice, but inside, she was in turmoil. Darth Genitrix? She was infamous for her brutality, and along with her Apprentice...
Rozalia found herself dwelling not on the mission at hand, but on her Master, Markino. Never before had she felt his lack of presence as she had now. A sickening envy filled her as she watched the young Togruta Padawan gaze up at his Master as he gave tips on what to do in the coming mission; even Krios had his old Master here with him. And Rozalia felt as though she had no-one.
Tucking her legs up to her body and wrapping her arms around her knees, she thought of what he would say if he were here. Probably offer up some pointless trivia about the planet, insult the Sith, and swagger about arrogantly just to make her feel better. And then, she realized she was wrong. If Markino was here, he'd tell her to get herself together - now was not a time to feel sorry for herself.
At this realization, she put all thoughts of sorrow and envy out of ehr mind, and glanced out of the window, a suddenly determined look on her face.

She would not let him down.

Space over Vondark

The adrenaline was flowing, and Kellan was feeling good. The pilots were scrambling around him as he easily leapt into his own star-fighter. Flicking various switches to power it up, he smiled as his orders came through. He essentially translated them as 'Give 'em Hell''. And oh, boy, was he good at that.
"Alright boys, you heard the alien; don't let the enemy bombers through your lines. Don't worry about formation, I just want you to scramble and shoot at will out there." Kellan ordered through his comm link, getting various shouts of approval back. Some people criticized him for his lack of discipline out in the field, but that was the way he worked - and most of the time, it was effective. Especially against these Rebel idiots.
Thirty seconds later, Kellan and his squadron of fighters were out of the hangar bay and in the midst of battle - debris and lasers flying everywhere, explosions occurring everywhere; he still found it eerie that he couldn't hear it, especially after watching so many vids of intergalactic space battles with over the top sound effects.
"Pew, pew-pew!" He said with a chuckle as he popped off a bomber directly ahead, laughing as it incinerated in the vacuum of space. His cockpit became punctuated with laughs over the chatter of his comm channel - one ending abruptly in a scream as one of his fighters was shot down.
"We lost Wilhelm." Came in another voice. Kellan shrugged.
"Eh. Easy come, easy go." He muttered quietly - not wanting the rest of them to hear. They were fun, but not worth risking his life for.

Space over Mon Calamari

Aldo Forte was quite content at the moment. Sat at the bridge, with a cup of coffee in his hand. It wasn't quite the perfect espresso, but it was enough to keep him happy. Well, that and the recent reports he had just heard. Things were doing well on various fronts throughout the galaxy, and as the Grand Admiral of the Rebellion - this was good news indeed.
Hesitant footsteps were sounded behind him, and he glanced over his shoulder, seeing a Captain with a pained expression on his face.
"We've received news from the Admiral over on Vondark... it's not good news, I'm afraid." The Captain announced, and Aldo's brow furrowed slightly. "The Colossus has appeared in the battle... and things aren't going well for us."
"Merde... and my morning was going so well." Aldo muttered, setting down his unfinished coffee and standing up, looking out of the window. Stroking his chin thoughtfully as he looked upon the blue surface of the planet below. "Would we be able to go and aid them?"
"I'm afraid it would be too late by the time we arrived... besides, I would assume that is what the enemy wants." The Captain continued. Aldo's fists clenched slightly.
Vallen, Aldo thought to himself bitterly. He always was a tricky bastard.
"Any orders, Sir?" The Captain asked after a moment of silence.
"No. Just keep me updated." Aldo replied eventually with a tired sigh.

Rozalia couldn't help but smile at Adrian, the only visible part of her face showing as her eyes crinkled up. She supposed out of all of the Heroes she had met so far, Adrian appeared to be the most.. approachable one.
The other two here, she was unsure about. Neoteris... another female, not that it made her any more spectacular or less dangerous. And Connor - Irish, and pretty strong, depending on his power. He appeared to have a worse attitude to this whole Hero business than she did.
"I'm fine, Adrian, Neoteris.. Although not particularly happy as to why we're here." She responded in English, glancing around. "However, I don't plan on waiting around for very long. We should probably go and interrupt one of their meetings." She said in an amused tone. "We are heroes, after all; shouldn't keep a hero waiting."
Rozalia wasn't happy.
After finishing up with her flight around town - mostly calm apart from the house fire - she was ready for some food and maybe a movie. Until she got that damn text.
"Report to the LAPD for further instructions.,.Bastardi." She muttered as she saw the message on the phone given to her by the government, for "Work" use only. With a sigh, she placed her face mask back on, and walked over to the balcony.
It was going to be a long day.
She reached the police department in no time, although she got a few looks off the police officers milling about as she landed at the front doors. She knew they didn't particularly trust her - being new, and not really looking like your stereotypical hero - but that didn't bother her. She was used to worse than dubious glares from these pathetic law enforcers; if you could even call them that.
"Ciao, Adrian." She called out as she spotted Adrian within the police station, the remnants of her old Italian accent filtering through her surprisingly sweet voice. The two heroes were now getting stares from the various people within the station. "How's life?"

"Crap." Angel muttered, biting her lip. Hopefully that other guy would be able to hang on until she was done here. Hands shaking ever so slightly, Angel cleaned the wound at the base of Jhett's head, wincing as she did. Once all of the blood was cleared up, she let out a sigh of relief. Although fairly deep, it wasn't fatal, even without stitches. However, stitches would have to be put in whether Angel felt squeamish about it not. Making sure the end of the thread was knotted, she clamped the skin together with those weird tweezer things that came with the suture, and put it through the flesh, her face blanching white as she did. God, this was awful. She was just so thankful Jhett had succumbed to his sleep and wasn't thrashing about.
"Okay...one stitch done." She said somewhat shakily to Yvette with a weak smile after the first one was done. The wound was deep, but not very wide, so not many stitches would be necessary. Angel had a fleeting thought of that she was probably the youngest one on this island - why was SHE doing all the hard work? But that selfish thought lasted less than a second as she began the next stitch.

If they were going to survive this, everyone had to fall back on their strengths. And stick together.
Rozalia found it hard to ignore the fire below. Although tempted to simply fly past and continue on her own special way of relaxing, and let whoever deal with it, a pang of annoyance rang through her as she remembered her new status.
That's right. She thought to herself. I'm a Hero now.
Sighing, she veered backwards and sank swiftly towards the ground, hovering a few feet outside the blazing ball of fire that had once been a house. Almost lazily, she raised a hand directed towards the house beside it, and a shimmering blue energy erupted from her outstretched palm. Creating a wall between the two houses within seconds, the energy shield she had created slowly forced the fire away from the neighboring house. Sirens could be heard in the distance, so with a thankful sigh, she realized these wouldn't have to stay long. Wondering again if she truly was cut out for the Hero business. She'd saved lives before, but only if it got in her way of surviving herself. She'd never heard a news report of a bridge collapse or gas explosion and shot right down to save the day. She'd just ignored the news and got on with her daily business.
Which in the recent past, had involved running. But now she didn't have to, she found herself lost - falling back on the Heroic business seemed like an easy job to take.
"I wonder if 24 is too young to retire." She muttered to herself as the fire engines came screaming to a halt outside the flaming house. The firefighters seemed somewhat put out to find her hovering there - she wasn't the most recognizable Hero, being one of the news - but they were professional enough, and worked straight away to put the fire out.

Once the other house was out of danger, Rozalia relinquished her shield and the energy dissipated. Giving the firefighters a satirical salute, she was about to fly back up into the air when she caught sight of a young boy waving at her from the window of the house she had saved, his mother stood by him with a thankful smile. Smiling back awkwardly -although her face mask covered it - she waved at the little boy and returned back to her usual flying route.
God, I hope they didn't take any pictures. She thought to herself dryly. It was a shame Heroism and publicity came hand in hand.

Angel looked from the injured Jhett to the clearly relieved Yvette, although a desperation was coming over the older girl's face as Jhett struggled against unconsciousness.
"I think you should sleep, actually." Angel said to Jhett gently, opening up the kit. "There aren't any anaesthetics in here... and stitches hurt quite a bit." She said, taking out one of the sutures, the stitches, and some antiseptic wipes. She was so happy that her Dad had taught her how to do all of this stuff.
"Could you roll him over for me?" She asked Yvette, doubting Jhett had the strength himself to do it, wiping her hands with the anti-septic and then the suture. Not exactly hospital standard cleaning, but it would do. As she threaded the suture, she glanced up at where Yvette had ran over from.
"Is that someone else over there? Are they hurt too?" Angel asked, squinting in the distance. She was slightly short-sighted, and had naturally left her glasses back in her room on the ship. Hopefully she could retrieve them somehow.
Might I say, I love your name and picture XD
