I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:
CURRENTLY UPDATING
The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)
Escaping the Blight (1x1)

Hey, glad to have another person on board! I look forward to seeing your character, and thanks for joining. :)
Nightingale had blacked out for a few good minutes, leaving her motionless on the ground as the carnage exploded inside the room. She came around to a distinctly cooler room, filled with smoke, the flames dying out after being smothered by some sort of foam. Her vision still blurry, she attempted to sit up, peering groggily around the room. An unpleasant smell of burnt flesh hit her nostrils, and she caught sight of the char-grilled - yet somehow still breathing - body of Caro on the floor. God. Those were some nasty third degree burns. He'd be both lucky and unlucky to survive it.
"Jesus, fireguy," She muttered, coughing slightly. "What in the hell is wrong with you?" Speaking of which, where was he? She couldn't see or hear anything in the room, but for the hiss of the flames as they died down. And more bullet shots. Keeping low to the floor, she wondered which idiot had began shooting blindly into the room despite the fact Caro and herself were still in there - didn't they know bullets could ricochet?
For the night is dark and full of bumps.
I'm still here!
Hey guys, I'm just gonna ask you all to check in the OOC, just o see if you're still with us - you don't have to post an IC though. Just sign with your name.
Oh, and I've been talking with Leos and we both agree that a Leader of DovahFeyn should be elected. Although Delphine will be in charge of all the directions and dragon burial mounds and stuff, a leader needs to be made out of the group - it would be anarchy without one.
So, once all the characters have introduced themselves (hopefully that won't take too long) I'd like you to vote - as your characters would - on who should be the leader. Keep in mind that if you were in that situation with your character's backstory, personality, etc., who would you want to follow? Who would you trust?
Oh, and also, no voting for oneself. That would be a waste of time.
Niko waited in silence as Valerion spoke, allowing him to finish and sit down before he spoke again.
"He has mentioned a good point there - about out strengths." Niko pointed out, thinking about it. "If we're going to work in a team, I would think that we need to know each other a bit more. How about we introduce ourselves, and what we can do? We'll be able to formulate a better battle strategy this way." He said, then paused, pushing his dark blond hair back from his eyes. One of the plaits holding it back from his face had unravelled. "So, I'm Nikolaus. I'm pretty good with one-handed swords, normally dual wielding, and I'm a good shot with the bow."
"He's a very good diplomat too." Leo spoke up, aiming a grin at Niko, who couldn't disagree. This meeting wasn't the first time he'd attempted to calm a heated situation, and it certainly wasn't going to be the last. He was just glad there were a few others in the room that were as level-headed as he was. "Whereas I," Leo continued, sitting up in his chair to grin around at the rest of the room. "I'm more interested in mischief through words than peace."
"Don't I know it." Niko muttered as he sat down.
"I'm Leonidas - call me Leo. I'm pretty damn good with this beauty here -" he waved a hand towards his war hammer, laid on the table. "But my true talents lay in smithing and inventing. I'll make you pretty much anything you can think of... For the right price, that is." He finished, a sparkle in his dark eyes as he surveyed the room. Niko couldn't help but smile, hoping the others would follow suit in these more civil introductions. The tension had appeared to relax, at least.
Again, Rozalia kept her rather negative opinion of the sports mentioned by Devin to herself, not wanting to offend him. However, she did brighten up at the mention of Ravenclaw.
"Ravenclaw sounds interesting. My big brother was in Gryffindor, and my Mum was in Hufflepuff. Other than Ravenclaw, I don't really have a preference." She said honestly. She hadn't even thought about the others all that much. She supposed Slytherin would be interesting too, considering no-one in her family had been in it as well as Ravenclaw... but the house of the witty sounded like the right place for her.
Scratching Sora's ears absent-mindedly, she peered out of the window. It was still around noon time, with the sun high in the sky.. In no time at all, she as sure it would soon disappear beneath the rolling hills and farmer's fields that they were passing by in a green blur. Speaking of noon, her stomach growled quietly. Her breakfast seemed like it had been years ago by now - she wondered idly when the sweet cart would come buy. She'd brought some more traditional Muggle snacks with her - Doritos, Pepsi, Minstrels, stuff like that - but she was interested to see what Magical treats would be on offer. Although being a half-blood, she hadn't seen nearly as much of the Wizarding world as she would have liked. She supposed she couldn't blame her family though. The only person with wizard blood left in her family was Leo, and he had to work nearly all the time. Her Dad couldn't get into Diagon Alley without Leo, and even when Roze's own powers had shown up - and she was able to go to Diagon Alley herself - her Dad had started working again. It had been hard for them all, these past few months... but now she was going to Hogwarts, making it easier on everyone.
In her silent musings, her hair died down from it's vibrant blonde to her usual chestnut brown, her eyes swiftly matching it. It took her a few seconds to notice the stares she was getting from the boys, but she didn't say anything. Surely, they must know what a Metamorphagus was?
That
Was
AWESOME.

Dude, you can totally have that. Of course, it means we'll have to include more instruments, such as guitars, violins, cellos, cymbals... not sure about the electric guitar though. Perhaps Leo could whip one up. :)
Oh, and I'll be including pianos as well. They'll be harder to get a hold of unless you're in the Bard's college or with a bit of money, but they'll be around.

XD
Just as long as they match the timeline and such. I'm thinking of having Roze sing 'The Parting Glass' some time.
Or maybe a more Tamrielic version of the Misty Mountains...
Oh, the re-hashed Tolkien songs I'm gonna use...
