I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

God, the shit really hit the fan this time. Roze thought to herself as she heard the words spilling from Elijah's phone. Jesus! She turns her back on the government for less than a minute, and they already got the media hounds on her!
Unless it isn't the government. she added to herself as an afterthought, frowning and shaking her head slightly as Elijah let loose with instructions on what to do. It looked like she was in trouble with him whether she liked it or not. She had no doubt she'd be on a few people's hit-lists now along with him, so she figured it would be safer with him. At the very least, they'd cause much more damage to any imbeciles who got in their way.

Not saying anything in response to Elijah, she simply nodded and followed him swiftly out of the building; in no time at all, they were in the abandoned chevy, and hurtling down the empty streets. Although relieved at the lack of police sirens and wailing behind them, Roze didn't say a word nor relax until they arrived at Elijah's hideout, and were safely indoors.

"So, you're called Elijah?" She finally said, peering at him intently. "I'm Roze. Now, in accordance to your previous words regarding myself, I can't say much about being kind," she then paused, removing her face mask and pulling back her hood, letting her ebony curls fall free over her face, "But I suppose you can decide yourself on how pretty I am." She finished dryly, giving him a wry, yet dimpled, smile.
"Hope you've got some clothes for me here - I need to get changed and get back out there. We need information on what the hell just happened; unless you've got some sort of ''friend'' out there that you can both trust and contact safely?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips casually and letting her eyes trail lazily across the room.
Hey, just to let you know I'm still around, and will continue to be. :D
Hey, I'm still around guys - I'm just unsure of Nightingale's involvement in the second arc. I'll get a post up once acer has posted though.
Happy to see the kid gone, Roze's intense eyes darted back up to Elijah's, staring at his own dark ones.
"Apature..." She murmured, frowning slightly. She recognized the name, and the logo, although she had never put the two together before. Staying silent for a moment as she continued looking at Elijah skeptically, she thought on his words. For now, she had no interest in fighting him - although severely tempted to prove him wrong, it would have to wait. She needed to find out where that copter was going.
"We're not finished." She finally said, folding her arms across her chest loosely. "I have a feeling that you're going to go after that copter. I'd like to join you. I have some... unfinished business with that company." She said, ending on a bitter note. It was no wonder she'd recognized the logo; it had been chasing her nearly all of her life.

She was unsure of working with a merc - especially one this powerful, and clearly had no qualms about killing her. But she needed to follow this lead. She'd been running too long. And, if she managed to finally end the people who were after her, she wouldn't need protection from the government.
Which means no more hero work. She realized as an afterthought, this bringing a small smile to her face.
Rozalia's eyes followed Vincent as he left the room, hearing the sharp echo of the doors as they slammed shut behind him. She would have been nervous, had she not settled in with the remainder of the group so much - she felt she could trust at least some of them.
Figuring that most of the group had finished with introductions - clearly some didn't want to speak - she stood up with a stretch, gathering her things in a still soggy bundle in her arms. Hopefully the armour would be dry by morning.
Taking one last survey at her new fellows, she silently hoped that she wouldn't be seen as some sort of burden in their journey to end Alduin. Roze knew she wasn't the strongest, or the most skilled, but she just knew in her heart that she could help.
Not that she'd allow anyone to tell her otherwise, that is.
"I'll see you guys in the morning then." She said as she walked towards the entrance of the room, hoping she could find a bed near one of the flickering braziers. "Maybe we should vote for a team leader or something over breakfast? Gotta have someone in the group giving orders." She added with a smile, then left the others with that thought. She was unsure who she'd be voting for - it seemed most people had plenty of skills of leadership. Haserus obviously had plenty of experience - but she doubted many would want to follow him, let alone vote for him. Rawlith and Dreet-na seemed like likely candidates for the job, although she wondered if either would take it. Niko appeared to be fairly level-headed and diplomatic; maybe she'd vote for him...

Leo ignored most of the conversation that had followed his introduction as fatigue began to creep up on him. He and Niko had been travelling pretty much non-stop from Markarth, so it was fair to say he was looking forward to a proper nights sleep. He attention was grabbed, however, as the young breton girl left the room, and he sprang to his feet as she passed through the doorway.
"I think I'll follow suit. I imagine our Blade friend will have us up at around dawn for the journey, so we'll need all the sleep we can get." He said, then paused, thinking on the mention of a leader. He only had to glance at his cousin to make his mind up. Rozalia had brought up a good point - they would need a true leader; Arngeir and Delphine wouldn't be good enough. It needed to be one of the group.
So sorry about the wait guys. I would have posted to move things along but I wanted to give others a chance to post. I'll write up something to move this along in a few hours - afraid I can't at the moment, still at college. But I'll have us all disperse and go to sleep - you can all continue conversations for a few more posts, but again, we won't linger too long. Hopefully, if most of us get some posts in, we can get the group out of the monastery around dawn and begin the journey to Kynesgrove; the journey won't be too many posts either. Again, sorry for the wait. I just didn't want anyone getting left behind.
"It's cool - you sound like you'd make a good manager. You've certainly got an eye for tactics." Roze spoke up once Devin apologized, smiling at him easily. "Whichever house you're in, I bet you'd make a good asset to their Quidditch team." She added, thinking about his words. Being Seeker did sound interesting, certainly. She supposed she would have to try all of the Quidditch positions before trying out next year.
Her musings were momentarily cut short at the entrance of another student - Luke. Picking up Sora so that he could sit down on the spare seat by her, Rozalia offered up a welcoming smile.
"Hey, I'm Rozalia. You can call me Roze though." She introduced herself. "I don't really play much competitive sport - but I'm definitely going to try Quidditch."
Roze smiled in agreement with Jake, glad that he enjoyed it. She was looking forward herself to indulge in the sweets of the wizarding world - but she might just avoid the beans for a bit.
Taking a cracker and dipping into the nutella - damn, she loved nutella - she thanked Devin and nibbled it contently. As the conversation swiftly veered towards Quidditch, her hair developed a few purple streaks among the dark blonde as her curiosity sparked. Quidditch was definitely something she wanted to look at - it wasn't really the same, reading about it, and she'd never even seen someone fly on a broomstick before, having lived in a muggle community.
"My brother was Beater for the Gryffindor team when he was here." She stated, finishing the cracker, then feeding Sora a cat treat. "According to him, he reckons I'd be a good Chaser. I'm good at working out where people are going to, you see." she said, then paused. "And I suppose I'm quite fast, but I've never been on a broomstick before. Besides, first years aren't allowed on the teams, are they?" She queried, frowning slightly as she thought back to the letter she had received a few months back.
I'm still alive! :D
