I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Roze watched on incredulously as Elijah rang both his mother and his cousin. At first, the idea of a traced call didn't even dawn on her, at the simple shock of her realization that this guy was still in contact with his family. It had never even occurred to her, despite all the talk of his 'Momma', that he still talked with them. That he even had a family.
I've been without family for too long. She thought to herself sadly, feeling almost guilty at the assumption that anyone like her would have no-one to love, or fall back on.
As he laid out their options for her in a voice that had suddenly become serious, she paused, thinking of them. Running and hiding wasn't much of an option. She had a few contacts that she could trust, but none of them were in LA, and there was no way in hell that they could get out of the city now. What with what was going on, it would be on complete lockdown. However, she did know a few safehouses - some that had been set up prior to her involvement with the government, so they shouldn't know about them.
Stepping forward and placing a hand - with an almost sympathetic touch - on his shoulder, she looked up at him.
"In terms of going to help, I'm not sure it's such a good idea. We're pretty high on the list of 'shoot-to-kill', I'd reckon, so showing up and waving a white flag won't do us any favours. But running... look, they probably managed to trace that call, so we need to leave. Bring as much weapons as we can carry, and I can drive us to a safehouse I know about. We can stay there until..." She trailed off, unsure of how to finish her sentence. "Well.... just until." She finished softly, shaking her head slightly. Her mind couldn't help drifting back to all those bodies... why all those innocents? She could understand targeting the FBI, but just civilians...
One thing was for sure.
They were dealing with some pretty sick Metas.
Haha, good to hear North! I'll probably be sending PM's to the others shortly - I know Leos is working on a post, but it looks like Veshio hasn't been online for a while, so I'll give him a bit more time. I recall Ngoc had some personal problems going on and I don't know what's going on with him either, so I'll just wait and see what happens with them two - I'm not going to push them, as life takes precedence.
For everyone else, I'll PM. If they don't post here but are posting elsewhere, I'll give them a warning of their character suddenly finding themselves being tortured in the realm of Oblivion by lowly Scamps.
Hey guys, just feel the need to clarify; Roze has her own personal vendetta against Apature. Just though I'd throw that out in case it's important.
Fair enough North, that's find. Actually everyone, if you have similar problems, just say so here or PM me - give me a reason, kay?
Hey, I'm going to get a post up later today guys; don't worry, I'm still around! :D
Alright, next morning is up, sorry about the delay. Once most of you have voted, I'll skip it along, adding a few - a few, mind you - posts about camping and the journey, but Kynesgrove is going to come pretty fast, because I get the feeling you're all itching for a dragon fight.
If no-one has offered up their vote on leader by tomorrow, you'll be discounted.
The Next Morning

The group were all awakened - if asleep, for some had chosen to stand watch over the night, still not trusting their companions - some time before dawn by the Greybeards. A hasty breakfast and supplies were given out, and soon the company was trekking back out into the frosty wilderness, happy to begin their journey on a fairly clear day; the blizzard had blown itself out last night, leaving behind plenty of snow and a nip in the air, that was only made worse by the height they were at. Delphine heading the group, they descended the mountain in silence, some unsure of speaking at the risk of dredging up the tension of last night, and some too tired to even both making an effort for the moment.
Taking about 3 or 4 hours, they made it to the village in good time, and the sun had finally risen, casting a golden glow across the swathe of white that lay upon the land around them.
"Alright. It's going to take about 2 weeks to get to Kynesgrove, give or take a few days." Delphine called to the group as they reached the edges of Ivarstead. "After that, I'll be leaving you, so I suggest you vote on a leader between yourselves as we walk."
Roze rolled her eyes once more, but couldn't help giving a begrudging grin to Elijah's jokes. She supposed it was better than being stuck with someone who didn't have any sense of humour.
"Might as well make the most of the situation." She muttered under her breath as she slipped the t-shirt on. It was a little small, riding up and showing off a swathe of tanned midriff, a few pale scars peeking up from her waistline from minor incursions in the past. Deciding that the shorts she had hastily picked up would be far comfier than the jeans, she slipped them on, glancing up as she heard the front door suddenly cut off Elijah's laughter.

Leaving the bathroom, she took her time looking over the place. It wasn't that bad - not that she was expecting him to live in an abandoned mental asylum or anything. No, it looked okay. Living room, bathroom, kitchen.
Turning back to Elijah as he entered, Roze offered up a slightly more sincere smile for him.
"Hope you've got some form of alchohol in this here home of yours, my fiery friend." She said, raising her eyebrows hopefully.
Rolling her eyes, Roze couldn't deny she was tired. The thing is, her power used up her energy. That meant eating a mighty fine breakfast and getting at least 8 hours of sleep to kick some ass well and truly. If she'd been fully regenerated during her fight with Elijah, she would have lasted far longer.
"You better have more than one bed in here." She said dryly, grabbing some clothes from the rack on the opposite wall. "And call me Snookums again, I'll castrate you in your sleep." She added with a grin, walking towards what she presumed to be a bathroom with the clothes. No way in hell was she undressing in front of him, despite their newly found ''marriage'', as he kept saying.
Looks like I'm going to have to set up some ''vows'' for him to follow. She thought to herself grimly, closing the door behind her and removing her shirt - if you could call it that. Her ''armour'' was a curious thing alright. It looked light, but it was a pretty high-density, nubile material. It wasn't thick enough to stop a bullet, yeah, but she used her shields for that. It allowed her some form of protection while allowing her to move, and speed was one of the main weapons in her arsenal; and, she added begrudgingly, she couldn't deny that it looked pretty good on her.
Hey, Pirouette, great that you're interested, don't worry if it takes you a bit to get your sign-up ready; we're always accepting.

Everyone else, if no-one else posts by the same time tomorrow, I'm going to be moving it ahead to the next morning, where the group will vote for a leader, and leave for Kynesgrove - at that point, I'll be sending out PM's to people to see if they have or haven't dropped out.

Sorry for the wait guys. I've tried to be patient, but there's no way I'm letting this roleplay die.
