I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention

Thanks for rectifying that one guys; I didn't want Paarthunax being introduced yet. Also, TU, I highly doubt that your character will be able to pick up much Dovah language. He may know a few words, but to learnt even sentences - Shouts included - isn't going to happen, no matter how clever he is.
Haha that pick up line. Not even Sheogorath likes that much cheese. Now, I already know Niko will be quite patient in gaining friendship with Faire - and will probably become rather protective of her. Which means pick up lines like that will be fairly looked down down upon by him :) I can't see Faire liking it either haha XD
I can see Niko working his way patiently through all the racism and showing Faire - and perhaps our Altmer friend - that not all Nords are bad. Coz y'know. He likes to make friends. :)
@ Lord pie: Rozalia will be giving a very negative reaction as well; the Thalmor - and by association, the Aldmeri Dominion, slaughtered her entire family and everyone she loves, rendering her an orphan and homeless at a very young age. Swords will be drawn on this matter, I'm sure. @ Black Death; erm... I suppose it is a good idea. Just like the silt-striders in Solstheim, it makes sense that such a large creature could be tamed. Maybe if it was captured from birth. It's a yes from me, but I'll wait and see what Leos and North have to say first. :)
For everyone else, I think we're waiting on Faire. I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction to the words of her captors. :) Oh, and in terms of the first post in the OOC, I'm going to update the character list in the weekend, so I can kick some of the others and add new ones. Although there is a new tab for characters, it's easier to just be able to click and find.
Aeg has been allowed to make a sign-up, but I would have preferred for you to wait for the okay on your CS before posting in the IC. As North stated, the second sword needs to change. Not only would it be highly unlikely to exist, you haven't stated what ore and materials have been used to create it. I also need to know what materials were used to create the armour - obviously, it can't be ebony, as it is light - and I need some more detail on your appearance. Height, eye colour, etc. Pictures are fine, but they need to be clear in what the appearance is. Also, it's 'emigrated', not 'immigrated'. Now that is me being picky, and I'll apologize for that, but I felt it needed pointing out.
I've posted Nightingale's departure - sorry about the delay, but that's one loose end tied up for you all. I've kept her hidden rather than dead in case one of you would like to bring her out as an NPC or a main character in the future. Treat her nicely, and farewell! It was good while it lasted. :)
Rozalia had chosen a different path to the two she had been given, in the end. She didn't go with Lighthouse, or with Elijah. She instead went her own way, staying the same solo path that had kept her alive all these years. The city was still in lockdown, but she knew how to disappear with ease. She had given a brief goodbye to Elijah before taking off in the opposite direction, her powers lifting her into the sky, and in no time, the far distance. She felt a pang of near guilt at leaving, but she knew this was the best course for her and Elijah. She would only distract him, and he would distract her. A possible team, but the chances of them failing would be too great - and too dangerous in their current situation. No, she was best staying underground until this sorted itself out - or at the very least, until she found a reason to reemerge. Nightingale was gone, as far as everyone else was concerned.
Erm..." a blush crept up into Steph's pale cheeks, taken aback at Ethan's sudden excitement; and touched by his compliment. "Well, I-I'm sure it would be really hard to do it." She stammered, her face growing hotter by the second as she realized how close to the truth he was. Would it be safe to tell him? Although she felt she could trust him with anything, she just didnt want to risk alienating him - especially after just pushing away her group of aquaintaces. "Maybe I should tell him... He's so close already..." Steph thought to herself, and her eyes widened ever so slightly at another realization. In his excitement, Ethan had stepped closer to her, so they were but centimetres apart. If someone were to walk down the corridor to see this; the two so close together, Ethan with that excited smile on his face and Steph blushing like a total moron, they would definitely get the wrong idea. "Is it wrong?" A small voice in the back of her head asked. Choosing to ignore this, she gave a nervous laugh and began walking again, Ethan immediately following. "Maybe we could practice together. You're pretty creative yourself, y'know." She said, then paused, thinking of their lessons later. It was all boring, academic stuff like History and English till the end of school. She didn't listen in those classes - and she knew fine well Ethan probably didn't either. "Want to skip class after art? I know a quiet place we can go to." She suggested as they walked, still with that nervous smile on her face, and staring at the ceiling. She was still blushing, and trying immensely hard not to look at Ethan. "Why am I acting like this? Its not like I just asked him out or anything. Would I be that disappointed if he said no?" An internal debate swirled around Steph's mind as she awaited his answer. "Yes, I suppose I would." She replied to herself silently, an almost miserable tone in her mind. She was used to rejection - it came with being born into her family. But with Ethan, she just knew it would feel worse.
Looks awesome! Start whenever bud x
