I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Posts will be delayed until wednesday, my dudes. Got some uni wori to catch up on.
Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.
So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:
I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.
If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:
Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
Dragon Age series
Elder Scrolls
Mass Effect Trilogy
Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Fringe
Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
Norse Mythology
Marvel
Left 4 Dead
The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
House of Night Series
True Blood
Deus Ex
Blood Ties
The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
Pacific Rim
Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.
Ohmigosh guys I'm so sorry for not being around. I just got back from my holidays - I thought I'd posted in the OC that I'd be gone for a week, but it didn't go on. I'll post right away - sorry again. :/
Although slightly disappointed that the lesson had gone by so quickly - and she hadn't learnt anything particularly new - Roze had copied down all the things on the board, silently cursing the quill as she struggled to get to grips with it. Out of all the things she practiced before arriving, writing with a quill hadn't been number one on the list. She had incorrectly assumed it would be no different than handling a fountain pen; a favoured writing implement of hers. As the class was dismissed, Dani immediately went to the Professor with a question. Packing her things away, Roze decided to wait for Dani, hoping they could have lunch together or something. In terms of social interactions, she wasn't too great. The train ride hadn't been too bad, considering all of them in the compartment were in the same boat; new people, new friends (Or enemies, as the progression the day had shown), new school. However, for all she knew, everyone else could have made best friends as soon as the feast had ended, and Roze had been left out. However, her almost paranoid frettings were pushed to the back of her mind as the boastings of another girl filled the room. Buckling her bag and standing up, Roze rolled her eyes - which were matching the same shade of chocolate brown as her curls, considering her excitement of the first lesson had worn off. "Anyone who picked up a book before coming here knows about the Unforgivable Curses." She thought to herself, shaking her head slightly. Considering the dark history that had occurred in just the past few decades, the three infamous Curses were talked about far more often in History books. Ignoring the statement, she walked over to Dani, smiling at the smaller girl. "Hi, it's Dani, right? I'm Roze, I have the bed next to you in our dorm - I was wondering if you wanted to get lunch together?" She asked, rocking back and forth on her feet slightly, as she did when approaching a potentially awkward situation.
Roze had hurried back to her seat as the Professor had entered the room; not wanting to get into more trouble. She'd received three letters this morning at breakfast - her Father, brother and Uncle had all congratulated her on sticking up for herself from the get go - however, they had told her to be more careful in the future. The last thing she needed was to gain a handful of mortal enemies in just her first year. As the first question was voiced, Roze's attention peaked. Curses were a peculiar thing. Although the one set on the Professor's post for Defense Against the Dark Arts had definitely been active, it was different to the spoken curses that one used in wand combat. As Professor Quinn asked for thoughts, Roze's hand shot up. "If someone can curse an object or a person, it makes sense that they should be able to curse more immaterial or theoretical items, such as a certain day in a year, or even a faculty position. I mean, there's plenty of evidence behind it - during the years before the start of the Second Wizarding War, while Harry Potter was at school - none lasted for more than a year. I read somewhere that Voldemort himself cursed the position, and having been refused it in the past. After he died, I suppose the curse was lifted." She paused for a moment, gathering her thoughts. "But, for things like haunted houses, I don't think it necessarily has to be a curse. Although there's no concrete evidence, I believe Muggles can remain as spirits after death, without any choice, because of personal reasons."
Although quite sure that she would beat Rawlith to the top of the hill, Rozalia's steps slowed to a stop until she was but a few yards from Niko and their Dunmer newcomer - Niko had turned around and paused in turn as he saw the furrowed brow on Roze's face. She was scanning the surrounding areas, eyes darting to the sky as she turned around uncertainly. Niko froze, his eyes turning to the heavens, wondering what had caught the young Breton girl's attention. But the skies remained grey and cloudy - no death from above as he was all of a sudden expecting. And yet, he felt the same unease that was showing on Rozalia's face. "There's no noise." He finally whispered as he realized. The animals had stopped. Any birds in the area had all but disappeared; the buzzing of various insects muted, and any vulpine or rodent life had hidden away in the bushes and trees. And as Rawlith came to a halt beside Rozalia, the four stood in silence as the world seemed to stop around them.
-----------------------
Leo had wandered away from the camp, bored of the sparring noises and tedious conversation of building fires and whatnot. Although not bothering to go into the village, he had walked along the outskirts of the camp, eating a ripe green apple, and wondering vaguely how long Niko would be. His cousin seemed to know what he was doing in charge, which was a relief. "Hopefully it'll be enough to do better than poor ol' Alyx." Leo muttered to himself with a cynical smile. There were plenty of stories circulating about the brave and tragic Dragonborn. Some said he was an old, seasoned war criminal, ready to end it all and take his chances in Sovngarde; others said he had been nothing but a dumb and drunk man, barely out of boyhood when he decided to take on a fight with his bare fists and his shouts against a dragon. In reality, Alyx had been nothing more than a farmhand, having been at the wrong place and the wrong time when Alduin descended on Helgen. He had probably died fighting a dragon because he had no concept of fighting off nothing larger than a bear - he had no friends to rally to his cause, no decent equipment, and no experience. Judging by the look of their group, they had all three of those things covered. "Ah, who am I kidding. We're going to sail through this dragon slaying thing." Leo chuckled to himself, throwing the apple core into the distance. "Alduin will be dead before you can say-"
"DRAGON! ALDUIN IS HERE!"
Leo jumped as his cousin's voice echoed from the hilltop, accompanied by the beating of wings in the cold, cloudy air. Almost instantly freezing to the spot, he watched on in awe and terror as a blackness descended from the clouds, heading directly towards the burial mound. In a fleeting moment, Leo felt lost and as a child again - he had left everything back at camp, and he was without his cousin or arms. However, this fear swiftly passed, and the crazed genius mindset took place in his mind once more. A wicked grin splitting his face, he sprinted back to the camp - the rest were already scrambling to their feet, some still frozen in terror as Alduin himself flew over the camp, and hovered at the mound. Gathering his weapons, Leo's dark eyes glinted with wonder as he approached the hill. "Leonidas; let's go kill ourselves a dovah." He thought, breaking into a run to join his cousin.
I'll get an IC post up, and once the dragon fight kicks off, I'll be checking in with the others. I know Leos has about two more exams left, so we'll ease up a bit for him once it gets going. Wouldn't want Valerion missing out on the fight. Also, guys, if you do have any exams or holidays, please tell us! Then we'll know the reason behind you not posting or something, and there won't be any pressure on you either. :)
Apologies, ladies, gentlemen, cat-folk and ancient she-Elves. Exams are OVAR! We can kick this thing back into life now. :) Thanks for waiting guys. I really appreciate it.
By the way, I just noticed something about one of your NPCs, with the whole anti-technology charm petition? There aren't any charms against it, I don't think, it just interferes with the magic which makes electronics short-circuit. Or does the kid just not know that?
